"Well, the queer people in the family support me, others ... tolerate me." He looks up to me, "do you really not have anyone in the family?"
I shake my head. "No. Mom is gone. Dad is, I don't know where. My Aunt lives in Asia now, or somewhere far away. She was never much friendly. My grandparents are too old."

"Maybe from dad's side, but I doubt he knows about us."
"Hm, okay." he lowers my head and kisses me, "and your friends."
"Just you know, in colleges living their good lives. I meet ...some." I rub my neck. Not really. "sometimes."
"We can see my family then. My father will have birthday, you know, so I'm hopping everyone will be there.
Well, probably not Theo. He just does what he wants, but maybe he will surprise us." His brother? I think.
"Fine, but I don't want to leave Atila home alone."
