I walk to the room with loud music. I search in the crowd and find him.
He's as cute as ever.
"Hello, Soren." I sit down on a couch next to him.
"Hi." He says and rubs his hands.
"Let's stay here. I want this conversation to be quick."
"Oh, alright." He nods.
"So the decision is up to you."
"I just have some questions." He says.
"Of course. You can ask me anything."
"Hm, well, if I said yes, where would we meet?"
"Preferably at my house. Depends on where you live but ... we shopped at the same shop, it cannot be that far."
He rubs his neck. "Right. Okay. And when would we meet?"
"It would all depend on you. You would choose time, day and a price."
"That sounds good."
"It does right?" I smile, but I have my mask on.
"What do you gain from this Lars?"
"I like you and I want to be around you. Get to know you better." And I hope I will.
"I don't really have a reason to refuse, so I say yes."
Yes! Yeaaaah.
"Okay, good." I say calmly.

We walk to the receptionist and try to cancel our memberships. She looks very unhappy with it.
"May I ask the reason?"
"Ehm, I will be moving away." I lie to her.
"And you?"
"I – I'm engaged now and my partner doesn't want me to be here." Soren says and I snicker.
"I see. Well, we have to put reasons on the documents. But you know you'll have to pay hundred euro each for the cancelling."
"No problem." I say. I slay 200 on the table and move it to her.

"You're paying for both?"
"Yes. Just give us the documents please."
"Alright." She prints something and moves it to us. "here, sign it, give us your cards back and if you want to enter again, you need to register ... and pay again."
"Got it." I say it quickly and put the card on it. Soren does the same and he takes of his bracelets too.
"Well, I guess it over then. Ehm, nice day."
"You two."
I grab Soren's hand shamelessly as we walk away. What do we care now?
"That was strange."
"I do this all the time."
Carlo, my bodyguard waits for us with a car. He opens the door for us and I let Soren enter first.
"You can take of your mask now." I take of mine and he listens. I love his curls.
"Hello, Soren." Carlo says.
"Hello, ... sir." He says shyly.
"You can call him Carlo. He's good at keeping secrets."
"Of course. The best." Carlo winks and drives us away.
*
Soren is looking over at me shyly. I can't believe I actually did this.
"Do you have to be at home at some time?" I ask him to make sure.
"Not really. I can just text Atila if I'm late."
His brother? So they live ... together?
"You live with him? Oh, so he's older than you." I smile.
"No, younger." He shakes his head.
Younger? I'm quite shocked.
"Okay." I let it be. I really don't understand what's going on in his personal life. But I want to!
