After Clarke sobered up a bit the two decided to go back to Clarke's house. They wanted to make sure Abby was safe and that Clarke's father left.
The whole ride Lexa drove with one hand while the other hand was being tightly squeezed by Clarke. For some reason Clarke was scared to let go, she was scared to let go before the shower, and she was scared after the shower. She just couldn't let go.
"What if he's not gone?"
"I'll beat him up," Lexa said shrugging her shoulders.
"I'm serious, I don't know what I'd do if he hurt you."
"You already know I know how to fight. So if he is there and does try hurting me, which isn't going to happen, I'll know how to defend myself and you. You don't need to worry about that, okay?"
"Okay," Clarke said extremely not convincing.
Lexa raised the hand that was being squeezed to death and kissed Clarke's hand. "Everything will be okay," Lexa said between kisses.
"Do you promise?"
"Yes, I promise it'll be okay."
When they finally got to Clarke's house, they could see that all the lights were off, which Clarke thought was weird.
"Something happened."
"Stop thinking the worst."
"No, she always keeps the living room light on when she goes to bed. Just so if she needs to go downstairs for something she'll be able to see."
"And she couldn't have forgotten? She was probably too tired."
"I guess you could be right."
"I am, now let's go," Lexa said getting out of the car.
When they went inside the house, they turned the lights on as they walked through each room. They went to Clarke's room and turned on the lights to see Abby sitting in the corner.

"Mom, w- what are you doing?"
"Leave."
"What? Why?"
"He's still here. He was drinking and fell asleep in my room. Leave."
"No, w- what about you."
"Honey, I'll be fine, just...just don't worry about me."
"Mom, I'm not leaving you."
"Look who's back, and I'm guessing Lexa is your girlfriend."
They all turned to see Jake standing in the doorway with his arms folding as he leaned against the door frame. "Well, I guess she's decent looking, a shame she's not a boy though. Wouldn't be so disgusted in you if she was a boy."
"Shut up. Shut up, you do not get to talk about Lexa like that."
"Last time I checked I was the adult, I thought I taught you to respect your elders."
"And why would anyone respect you," Clarke scoffed.
Jake reached behind his back a pulled out the gun her had, "Maybe this is why."
"I- I- I-" Clarke stuttered.
"Girls get out."
"Don't move or I'll shoot your precious girlfriend," Jake said as he pulled Lexa by her wrist, the put the gun up to the side of her head.
"No, no, no, let go of her."
His grip only tightened as Lexa stood there shocked, she was scared for her life, she didn't know what to do. She looked at Clarke who had tears in her eyes, shaking her head, then over at Abby who was doing the same thing.
"Why are you doing this?" Clarke asked.
"You can't possibly be in love with her. You can't possibly be in love with another girl. There's no reason for her."
"How, how can you possibly think that?" Abby asked.
As he answered her, Lexa felt his grip loose and took advantage of it. With the hand that wasn't being held she grabbed the hand with the gun and pointed it at the ceiling as she pulled out of his grip. Lexa was surprised she was able to spin the probably 230-pound man around and kick his knees in so he fell to the ground.
No one realized but as he was laying on the floor he reached for the gun, pointing it at Lexa. The gun went off and the next thing Clarke knew, Lexa was the one on the floor. Then the gun went off again and again all pointed a Lexa.
"LEXA!"
