It was a little difficult for Lexa to get out of her clothes because moving a certain way stretched her scar, so Clarke helped her. Once they were both in the shower it mainly consisted of Clarke hugging Lexa from behind, wanting to be as close as possible to the brunette. After their shower, Lexa's dad and Aden came home.

They listened to the new Måneskin song and while Lexa listened to it for what sounded like the fifth time Clarke went downstairs to find Gustus and Aden cooking.

"You guys want any help?" Clarke asked.

"No, it's fine. Go spend time with Lexa." Lexa's dad said.

"I would love to help though."

"Clarke, can you hold this?" Aden asked, holding the spoon to stir the sauce. Once she took it Aden ran away, "You can stir while I go play with Picasso."

"Aden get back here. That isn't how you treat a guest."

"It's fine, I wanna help."

"Yeah, she wants to help!" Aden yelled from somewhere in the house.

"If you really don't mind could you cut the garlic and onions while I get the eggplant ready?"

"Of course." Clarke said as she grabbed a knife.

"So tell me about yourself." Gustus said as they cooked.

"Umm, like what?"

"I don't know anything, family, hobbies, why you like my daughter."

"I like art, I especially painting and photography, umm, I like playing guitar and singing too, oh and I love to bake. And well I like Lexa for a lot of reasons. Besides being so beautiful, she's smart, like super smart, and she cares so much for the planet and just everyone in general, even people she doesn't know. Once when I was driving her home she saw a homeless guy and made me stop at the store so she could buy him some water and a bunch of snacks. He wouldn't take it at first, saying how he didn't deserve it, but she insisted and when he finally took it, I don't know, her face just lit up, she was just so happy she could help. And also she's just so funny and adorable, especially when she does her nervous little rambling."

"She actually gets the giving to the homeless from her mum."

"What? I'm sorry but that just- Mrs. Woods does that?"

"Yup, she use to take Lexa to a soup kitchen every Friday after school. And when they'd come home both of them would be so happy."

"I can't believe Mrs. Woods did that shit, I- I mean stuff."

"Yeah, she's a good person, there are just some things she doesn't understand, and I'm trying to work on that. I- I want you both to feel safe here."

"Thank you." Clarke said giving Gustus a hug, "And umm as far as family goes, I'm pretty sure you remember my little outburst to your wife."

"Kind of. Do you wanna talk about it? You don't have to if you don't want to."

"Oh well uhh, my parents met in med school, and he basically turned out to be scum. He was horrible to my mom. I- I didn't understand why she would stay with him because he would cheat on her with nurses from the hospital, he would hit her. She would try and cover it up with makeup, thinking I wouldn't notice, but I did. Then the whole thing happened where he just started hitting me over and over again and so my mom finally kicked him out. And I actually, well umm Lexa doesn't know this yet, n- no one knows it besides my mom. Everyone just thought my mom and I were going on a spontaneous adventure for almost a month. It was in seventh grade after the whole thing with my dad but I uhh, well umm I kind of tried, I- I uhh, I tried umm, I-"

"It's okay, I know what your trying to say. And I am so, so sorry you went through that Clarke." Gustus said giving Clarke a hug.

"It's fine, it's in the past, I'm one thousand times better now, especially after meeting Lexa."

"No, it's not. No one should ever treat anyone like that, especially not their kid. I'm so sorry."

They talked some more as they finished cooking, and soon after Anya came home from work, who asked Clarke to go get Lexa and Aden. When she went upstairs she found the two cuddled up with Picasso and a book. Lexa was reading to Aden, making voices for each character which made Aden laugh hysterically.

Lexa looked up from the book to see Clarke leaning against the door with a big smile, "Stalker much."

"Oh, sorry." Clarke said starting to blush, "I was just coming up to tell you dinner was done."

Aden ran down the steps while Clarke slowly helped Lexa down the steps.

"I can't wait till we have our twelve kids and I get to watch you read to them every night," Clarke whispered as they walked downstairs.

"You'll be reading too. I'm not doing all the reading."

"But you looked so adorable, especially when you made the voices that made Aden laugh."

"You can do that too."

"Yeah but I just end up sounding like Kermit the Frog," Clarke said making Lexa laugh. "No, I'm serious, like deadass."

"Clarke," Anya said when she heard Clarke.

"I- I'm sorry Mrs. Woods."

"So Clarke, do you have a boyfriend?" Anya asked as the two girls sat down at the table.

"Uhh, no."

"Why not? I guess you're attractive enough."

"If that was a compliment thank you, and because even though I'm bi, I have a preference for girls," Clarke said earning a disgusted look from Anya.

"What's a bi?" Aden asked.

"Nothing," Anya said.

"Bi is short for bisexual which means I like boys and girls," Clarke said to Aden.

"Clarke."

"Yes, Mrs. Woods?" Clarke said with a smile making Anya roll her eyes.

"Stop teaching my son these repulsive things."

"I don't see anything repulsive about answering a curious almost eight-year-old questions."

"What your saying is extremely inappropriate."

"I really don't see how."

"So uhh, does everyone like dinner?" Gustus asked trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, it's actually extremely good Dad," Lexa answered.

"Clarke actually made most of it."

"Funny," Lexa said laughing.

"No, really, she made most of it."

"You made this?" Lexa asked Clarke, not believing her dad.

"What you don't think I'm capable of it?"

"No, not at all."

"Okay well rude," Clarke said putting her hand to her chest, "and yes I did."

"I can't believe you cook."

"And bake." Clarke and Gustus said in unison.

"That's definitely not true."

"Why don't you believe me?"

"Why would my dad know but not me? And I mean I came over once and you burnt the toast, easiest thing ever and you burnt it."

"Okay one, I was extremely distracted and you know that, and two, your dad and I bonded. Didn't we Mr. Woods?"

"Gustus and yes, I'd even consider you my daughter now Clarke."

"Ew and I don't believe you can bake."

"Does anyone have a problem with chocolate cake?" Clarke asked looking around the table.

"No."

"No why?" Lexa asked.

"Then Mrs. and Mr. Woods can I use your kitchen to make an amazing chocolate cake."

"I don't see why not," Gustus said.

"Yay!" Aden yelled.

After dinner, Aden ran into the living room while his parents let out a sigh since he didn't clear his plate.

"Hey, Aden?" Clarke asked making the boy look at her, "When I'm done making the cake do you wanna lick the icing spoon."

"Yes!" He said excitedly.

"Then can you clear your plate?"

Aden jumped up and brought his plate to the kitchen, getting the food off of it, and put it in the sink leaving his parents in shock. After Clarke made the cake everyone said how good it was, even Lexa's mom, then two decided to go back upstairs to Lexa's room, and Lexa decided to post on instagram.

Who's that?

"Lexa, what's wrong?" Clarke asked as she watched the brunette tense up.

"I- w- what do I say?" Lexa asked showing Clarke the last comment.

"Well, are you ready to let people know?"

"I- I- I umm, I uhh, I- I don't know."

"Then don't say anything."

"I'm sorry," Lexa said resting her head on Clarke's chest.

"For what baby?"

"For needing to hide you, for lying about you."

"You don't need to be sorry, I completely understand. I'm not mad, or upset, I'm happy. I'm happy that I get to hold your hand, cuddle with you, kiss you, get to call you mine. As long as I get to be with you forever I could really careless who you tell and who you don't tell."

"This is why I- this is why your so special."

"Oh that reminds me, I completely forgot," Clarke said jumping up to get her book bag. She took a little glass mason jar with a bunch of little colorful papers in it. "I saw this on some website and thought it would be fun, so I bought it. It came the other day."

"What is it?"

"It has 100 date ideas in it. When we don't know what to do we can just pick one of these."

"What if we pick a bad one though?"

"Doesn't matter if there's a date in here that's says do a zumba class, we'll do it and make it fun somehow." Clarke said causing Lexa to smile.

"Clarke when I'm able to leave this house would you like to go on a date with me?"

"I would love to."

"Jar please."

Once Clarke handed the jar to Lexa she opened it and took a piece of paper out.

"Star gazing," Lexa said showing Clarke the paper.

"See, that'll be fun," Clarke said as she rested her head on Lexa's shoulder.

They stayed like that for awhile. Clarke with her arm thrown over Lexa's waist, with her head in the crook of Lexa's neck. Lexa with an arm around Clarke with her head resting on the pillow. And both of their legs tangled together with a blanket covering them from the neck down, with Picasso laying at then foot of the bed.

"I don't understand it," Clarke said as her hand went under Lexa's shirt, resting on smooth skin.

"What don't you understand?"

Clarke started to gently rub Lexa's stomach, being careful of the scar on the side of her stomach, "I need to feel you all the time."

"Why is that confusing to you? I feel the same way."

"Besides that fact that I've never been like this with anyone, it's not just feeling you, it's like I need to feel your skin. I don't know, I see you and I- I know your here, but it's like I need to feel the heat coming from you, from your skin, to make sure your actually here."

"I'm the first person you felt like this with?"

"Yeah." Clarke said sheepishly.

Lexa thought for a minute, "Go lock the door."

"Why? Your dad will be mad."

"He wakes up at eight every morning, we'll put an alarm on so you can unlock it before he gets up. And I want you to lock it so we take our clothes off, so you can go to sleep feeling my skin against yours."

Clarke got up to lock the door and when she turned back around Lexa had already taken she shirt and pants off. She smiled and took her own clothes off watching as Lexa's face became flushed.

"I- I- I forgot," Lexa said staring at Clarke's chest, "you don't wear a bra to sleep."

"Nope." Clarke said as she got back in bed, "And I think it's only fair if you take yours off too."

Lexa nodded her head and took hers off. She watched as a small smirk spread across Clarke's face and rolled her eyes.

"Go to sleep perv." Lexa said as she scooted closer and wrapped her arm around the blonde.
