"CLARKE, MURPHY, COME ON." Bellamy said running over to them.

"How is she?" Clarke asked scared.

"Don't know yet, your mom made me come get you guys." He said out of breath.

All three of them ran back into the hospital, to the waiting room that all their friends were in.

"It's Lexa, she went in hypovolemic shock." Jackson said to Abby.

"M- Mom." Clarke said.

"Honey, she'll be okay." Abby said, then ran back down the hall with Jackson.

Clarke sat down in a chair in the corner of the room with her head in her hands crying. Anytime someone sat down next to her or tried to talk to her, she would tell them to leave. Until Aden climbed into her lap to hug her.

"Clarke is Lexy okay?" Aden asked looking up at her.

"Of course she is buddy."

"Then why are you crying?" He asked pointing at the tears rolling down her face.

"I- I- I don't kn-"

"Clarke I'm not a baby. I'm almost eight years old, tell me the truth."

"Well," Clarke said wiping the tears away, "I'm not really sure, but my mom is her doctor so she should be."

"Is your mum a good doctor?"

"Very."

"Then don't cry, I don't like seeing you cry."

"Come here," Clarke said bringing him in for a hug.

Aden put his head on Clarke's chest, his arms wrapped around her neck, and his legs around her waist, while she rested her head on top of his with her arms wrapped around his back, rubbing soothing circles on his back. They stayed like that until Lexa's mom came over.

"There you are Aden, go over to your dad."

"I think he's asleep." Clarke whispered.

Lexa's mom sighed and gently picked him up, bringing him over to his dad. When she came back she sat down next to the blonde hesitantly.

"Clarke?" She asked.

She looked up at her but didn't say anything.

"I know we aren't, well you know I don't agree with your lifestyle."

"Yeah?" Clarke said confused and also annoyed.

"But according to your friends you understand all this doctor stuff. Do, do you mind telling me what's happening with my daughter?"

Clarke nodded her head and wiped some tears away, "She went into hypovolemic shock. It uhh, it basically means that she lost too much blood and that if they don't find the reason for the bleed, and give her all the fluids and blood she needs, well ummm she could go into umm, or- organ failure. But, that, that won't happen she has my mom, Kane, and Jackson. Those three are the best."

"Organ failure." Lexa's mom asked.

Clarke nodded her head.

"How, how did this happen?"

"I don't know exactly, I wasn't in the OR with them. It- it usually happens when there's a bleed they didn't know was there or something."

"No, I mean how did she get shot."

"Oh well umm she, she kinda saved me life."

"What do you mean?" Lexa's mom asked confused.

"Umm Finn, the person who, who you know, shot her. Was my ex and also the person she was kinda seeing but not really, and I don't know why but he, he was jealous of me and Lexa's friendship. But she just didn't wanna be with him because, you know, she just didn't see anything more than friends with him. So he, well he came into the photography room with a gun, he looked so messed up like he didn't sleep in days. And he was saying all this shit, I- I'm sorry, I mean stuff, and the next thing I knew the gun went off, and, and..." Clarke explained trailing off, as she started to cry again.

"I'm sorry you had to go through this Clarke." Lexa's mom said holding back tears.

"Can I see her, if she, when she gets out of surgery and wakes up?" Clarke asked.

"I'm sorry but I don't think that's wise." She replied getting up.

"Why?"

"It just isn't." Lexa's mom said walking away.

As they all waited for more news, some of the kids started to leave since it was getting late. By the time Abby came back out the only ones left in the waiting room were Clarke, Octavia, Raven, Bellamy, Murphy, and Lexa's family.

"Dr. Griffin, how's my daughter?" Lexa's dad asked jumping up.

"Please call me Abby, and she's doing good. She pulled through and I'm positive she'll make a great recovery. I'll let you know when it's time you can see her."

Abby walked over to Clarke and gave her a big hug, "Oh my god honey, are you okay?" she asked.

"Is she okay?" Clarke asked.

"Yes, now are you?"

"No, not until I get to see her."

"I mean up here Clarke," Abby said poking Clarke's head, "I wanna make sure you're doing okay. This kind of thing can take a toll on someone's mental health, especially...especially because of what happened in the past."

"I- I could have died, she...she saved my life. I can't live without her, Mom, I- I love her."

"I know." Abby said bring Clarke in for another hug.

"I need to see her, but Lexa's mom won't let me. Can, can you please let me see her?" Clarke asked.

"I'm sorry honey, it's against hospital rules."

"Please, I need to see her."

"I- I," Abby sighed, "I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you."
