The next five days for Lexa consisted of going to school, then going to the hospital after school to see Aden, sometimes Clarke would come with her, then going home to sleep, and repeat.

Friday afternoon Aden was finally allowed to go home so he begged for his friend and Clarke to come over Saturday to play his new Xbox game.

Saturday finally came, Clarke got to Lexa's house around 2pm. Maddie wasn't there yet and Callie went to the store with Lexa's parents. So they went to Lexa's room and watch an episode of Killing Eve, while Aden took a nap in his room.

Lexa haphazardly put her head on Clarke's shoulder, while Clarke wrapped an arm around Lexa. They laid on the bed like that watching tv when Aden swung the door open with a little brunette girl behind him. Lexa jumped away from Clarke, not wanting Aden to see them that close.

"Madi this is Lexa and Clarke. Clarke's the one that asked if we were dating."

"Ewwww." Both kids said in unison.

Clarke and Lexa laughed at how the two kids reacted.

The four of them drew and played games while they waited for Callie to come back from the store.

"So no parties tonight?" Lexa asked Clarke when the kids weren't paying attention.

"Actually Jaspers having one."

"Are you going?"

"Are you?" Clarke asked.

Lexa shook her head no.

"Then no."

Lexa raised an eyebrow in confusion, "Why?"

"I don't see a point if you're not gonna be there," Clarke said shrugging her shoulders.

"Why?"

"I don't know I just don't find them that fun anymore. I just much rather spend time here with you than getting drunk and doing something I might regret in the morning."

Clarke then gave Lexa a mischievous smile and whispered in her ear, "And by doing something I might regret, I hope you know I mean doing someone who isn't you. Because your the-"

"CLARKE!" Lexa yelled as she pushed her.

"What I whispered didn't I?" Clarke whispered.

Lexa pushed her again making her fall off the bed and Aden and Maddie started laughing as Clarke laid there saying ow.

"Lexa," Aden said laughing, "why did you push Clarke?"

"Because she said something she shouldn't have."

"What did she say?"

"Something you shouldn't hear," Clarke said as she got up.

Aden looked at her a little confused, "Oh okay. Let's have a dance contest."

"Okay let me just finish my drawing." Clarke said.

They waited about 30 minutes, "Done!" Clarke said turning the drawing to Lexa.

"Clarke!" Lexa said shocked.

"Do you like it?"

"I- I love it. It's beautiful."

Clarke had a big smile on her face, "Here, you can keep it."

Lexa hung it on her wall and gave Clarke a hug and whispered thank you.

"Are you guys ready for the dance contest?" Aden asked.

The two girls nodded their heads yes.

"Since I can't dance I'll pick the songs on Just Dance and pick who did it better. Whoever wins gets that." Aden said pointing to the cardboard trophy sitting on Lexa's dresser.

All four of them went downstairs and Aden picked the songs. The first song was Dynamite by Taio Cruz. Even though Madi had three stars while Lexa and Clarke got four stars, Aden said Madi did better.

"Let's do this song. We've never played it before Lexa."

Lexa looked at the song to see I kissed a girl by Katy Perry, "Oh uhhh maybe not that one."

"Why?" Aden asked confused.

"Well umm just because."

"Come on please," Aden begged.

Lexa looked at Clarke and gave her a what do I do look.

Clarke shrugged her shoulders, "It'll be fine."

"Uhhh fine Aden, sure." Lexa nervously said.

"Yay."

While they were doing the dance Lexa's parents and Callie came home.

"Lexa why are you guys dancing to this?" Lexa's mom asked when she walked inside.

"Aden wanted us to." Lexa said nervously.

"But you know better."

Callie rolled her eyes behind Lexa's mom so that only Lexa and Clarke could see.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Woods, Aden asked and I didn't see a problem with it so I told him sure." Clarke said to Lexa's mom.

"Callie, can you take Aden and Madi upstairs?" Lexa's mom asked.

"Of course. Come on guys."

Once Lexa's mom heard the door upstairs close she started talking to Clarke, "I don't know what Lexa's told you about us, but-"

"Anya leave it alone, it was a mistake." Lexa's dad said.

"No, I won't. Clarke, we don't participate in that kind of stuff."

"What kinda stuff?" Clarke asked confused.

"That kind of music."

"It's just a song. It doesn't mean anything." Clarke said still confused.

"It's a song about a girl kissing another girl it's wrong."

Clarke's eyebrows went up and her eyes widened, "You do realize how offensive that is, right? Besides the fact that I'm a girl who likes girls, you realize that you're practically preaching to both your kids that loving who they want is wrong. That's extremely fucked up."

Lexa looked at Clarke in shock. She was always so polite her Lexa's family and made sure she never cursed.

"They can love whoever they want."

"As long as it's not someone of the same gender right?" Clarke said rolling her eyes. "It's people like you that made me scared to be who I was for a long fucking time. When I was Aden's age I realized that I liked both boys and girls, and I thought it was normal so I didn't feel the need to tell anyone. Until one day in third grade, my teacher didn't realize I was in the room and was talking to another teacher about how disgusting a female teacher was for having a wife. That's when everything changed, I thought there was something wrong with me for a while, then I realized that there was nothing wrong with me, that some people are just homophobic pieces of shit. But I still didn't have the courage to tell my parents till I was in 7th grade. And you wanna know what my father did?" Clarke paused with tears in her eyes.

"Clarke you don't have to." Lexa said.

"He told me how much he loved me but then would get drunk and every fucking night he would come home telling me how I was a disgrace. He would hit me, tell me I was a disappointment, tell me I was wrong, sometimes he even told me he hated me and wished I was never born. The happiest day of my life was when that selfish piece of shit died. Please don't make that the happiest day for your kids. Please don't make them finally feel free to be whoever they want after you die. Make them feel like they can be themselves while your still alive. Make them be able to tell you stuff knowing that you won't judge them."

After Clarke realized everything she just said she looked scared, "I'm, I'm sorry Mrs. Woods. I- I didn't mean to talk to you like that. I didn't mean to curse or raise my voice. I'm so sorry."

"Clarke Griffin I think it's time for you to go." Lexa's mom said pointing to the door.

"B- Bye Lexa see you Monday." Clarke said as she grabbed her keys and practically ran out of the house.

"You are never talking to her again." Lexa's mom said after Clarke left.

"Mum she's my friend, yes I am."

"Did you hear how she talked to me? She's disrespectful."

"That's all you got from what she said? She has never told anyone about what her father did to her. Octavia, Bellamy, and I are the only ones who know. Her telling you about her father was probably extremely hard. And she didn't start talking disrespectfully until after you basically said being part of the LGBT community was wrong, which she is a part of. Also, she said she was sorry for talking to you like that. She's my friend and I'll see her if I want."

"Not in this house you won't. She is not welcomed here anymore."

"Fine. I'll happily go over her house, the only one who will be disappointed is Aden because he actually likes Clarke a lot."

"He will NEVER be seeing her again."

"Yeah, whatever." Lexa said as she walked upstairs to her room.

Aden and Maddie went back downstairs to play while Callie went to Lexa's room.

"Hey, so what happened?" Callie asked realizing Clarke was gone.

"Uhhh Clarke basically told my Mum that's she was a homophobic bitch."

"Not wrong." Callie chuckled.

"Yeah," Lexa smiled, "then she told her something about her dad. I don't feel right telling you so yeah. Then my Mum told Clarke to leave and she did."

"I heard what Clarke said at the end about letting you be happy. I hope you realize she cares about you."

Lexa whispered, "Yeah, I do too."

"Then why don't you ask her out or something?"

"I want to but like I'm an idiot if gonna do it now. My Mum hates her."

"So it shouldn't matter to your mum. Do you not remember what Clarke said to her."

Lexa sighed, "Can we not do this right now."

"Yeah sure. What do you wanna do?"

"Nothing." Lexa said as she plopped down on her bed.

The two girls stayed upstairs and watched Netflix. When it was time for dinner Lexa didn't come down, instead Callie brought both their dinners up to Lexa's room. And ended up going to bed at about 1am.
