Somehow Lexa made it to school five minutes early. She was so confused as to how she made it because she wasn't even speeding. But she walked over to the big tree that all her friends were at and saw Clarke with her eyes shut and sitting down leaning her back against the tree.

Lexa nudged her foot and Clarke squinted her eyes open, "Hey."

"Hey."

Lexa sat down, resting her head on Clarke's shoulder as they both closed their eyes again.

"Why are you guys so tired?" Murphy asked.

"Didn't sleep." Lexa answered.

"Yes you did." Clarke mumbled to Lexa.

"20 minutes while you drove me home didn't count."

"At least you got 20 minutes."

"I wasn't the one who had the idea of watching the sunrise. I wanted to go home at five-thirty."

"I wanted to go home at five-thirty." Clarke said in a mocking tone, "Bitch no you didn't, you said that'll be cool or something like that."

"Whatever."

"What are you guys talking about?" Raven asked confused.

"And why are you guys bickering like a married couple?" Luna asked laughing.

"I called her for math help and then she had the bright idea of teaching me how to skateboard. Now I feel like my ass is broken and I have a big bruise on my leg." Clarke said.

"I was only supposed to teach her for an hour or two but we ended up staying out all night than watching the sunrise on the beach." Lexa finished.

"Didn't it rain last night though?" Bellamy asked confused.

Lexa waited for Clarke to answer but realized she was asleep when she heard how even her breathing was.

"Yeah only for like ten minutes. We stayed in the car then."

"Oh."

"Well, that was rude you didn't invite us." Octavia said pretending to be hurt.

"You didn't need math help," Lexa said shrugging her shoulders causing Clarke to wake up and slap Lexa's shoulder.

"Hey! Don't slap me." Lexa said as she reached over with her eyes closed to slap Clarke's shoulder, but ended up slapping her cheek.

"You woke me." Clarke said slapping Lexa's forehead.

"Oh sorry."

"It's fine."

"Okay."

"I wish I was in bed, your bed."

"Same." Lexa said nodding her head.

"Guys, Sexy Lexy wants me in her bed."

Even though Lexa's eyes were closed she rolled her eyes while she blushed and she slapped Clarke's cheek.

"You guys are weird." Lincoln said laughing as he watched their interaction.

Later that day during lunch Clarke had her head on Lexa's shoulder and Lexa had her head resting on Clarke's head, both trying to go to sleep.

"Hey, I just realized Finn hasn't been here this whole week. Does anyone know where he is?" Murphy asked looking around the table.

Everyone said no, then Raven looked at Lexa, "Lexa has he talked to you at all?"

"No." Lexa replied shaking her head making Clarke make an annoyed groan as her head moved with the brunettes.

"Really, I thought you guys were gonna be like a thing. You guys were cute together." Bellamy said kind of shocked.

Both girls opened their eyes and Clarke could feel Lexa tense up a bit, probably from remembering what he said to her over the weekend. Without thinking she started to rub soothing circles on Lexa's leg under the picnic table. Lexa took the hand and held it tightly, keeping their hands under the table so no one could see.

"Umm no, we're not." Lexa said looking down at her lap.

"Oh, okay." Bellamy said, realizing that Lexa was getting uncomfortable.

After lunch and pottery class she had science with Clarke, Octavia, and Raven. When the teacher gave the class the assignment for the period and told them they could work together, Raven and Octavia started asking Lexa a bunch of questions.

"What happened with you and Finn?" Raven asked.

"Oh umm yeah no we, we haven't talked or anything since Sunday." Lexa said looking down at the assignment.

"Why?" Octavia and Raven asked in unison.

"Well he asked me to be his girlfriend and I kinda told him that we would be better off as friends."

"Really, why? I thought you liked him." Octavia asked confused.

Clarke wasn't really paying attention to the conversation but when Octavia said that she looked up and couldn't help herself, "Because he's a dick who should jump off a cliff and die."

"Shut up." Lexa mumbled to Clarke.

"Wait what happened?" Raven asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Lexa answered.

"Clarke? What happened? And why do you know but we don't?" Octavia asked staring into the blonde's soul.

"If she doesn't wanna talk about it, I'm not gonna say anything." Clarke said shrugging her shoulders.

"Clarke, you love Finn, he's like one of your best friends. So if-"

"Not anymore." Clarke said interrupting Octavia.

"If you're able to say that about him something bad obviously happened. So Lexa tell us what happened!" Octavia whisper yelled.

"Why does it matter? Just leave it alone." Lexa said trying to work on the assignment.

"Lexa just tell us." Raven said annoyed.

"Why does it fucking matter? Just leave her alone." Clarke said getting annoyed that her friends were making Lexa uncomfortable.

"Because Clarke, you're not the only one here who's friends with Lexa, we're her friends too. Yet you're the only one who spends time with her and knows what's going on. I mean you literally went on a little adventure with her last night and didn't think of inviting us." Octavia answered.

"Yeah, we wanna be there for you Lexa. But it seems like you don't want us to be. Like we wanna be your friend, and help you through shit." Raven said.

"We just wanna be there for you, like Clarke's there for you." Octavia said.

Lexa looked over at Clarke then looked back over at the other two girls and sighed, "After Callie and me left the party we got in a fight, so the next day I went over to Clarke's because I didn't wanna be around Callie. While I was there Finn called apologizing for kissing a girl who he thought was me. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend, I told him I only saw us as friends. And he completely freaked out calling me a worthless piece of shit and a bitch. And I didn't understand, well I still don't understand why. But Clarke ended up yelling at him and hung up because I was too stunned and emotional to do anything. That's all that happened." Lexa asked with watery eyes.

"Lexa I'm so sorry." Octavia said.

"Happy now?" Lexa asked sarcastically as a tear rolled down her face.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry we forced you to talk about it. He's a bitch you shouldn't believe a word he says." Raven said.

Lexa didn't say anything instead she asked the teacher to use the restroom and left the classroom. She didn't wanna have to relive that moment. She had completely forgotten about it and was happier than she's ever been in a while. But remembering the stupid little fight with Callie and then Finn yelling at her, for some odd reason it made her remember something she had completely forgotten about, well forced herself to forget.

Back in the classroom Raven and Octavia felt extremely bad that they made Lexa upset.

"You guys are dicks." Clarke said raising her hand for the teacher.

"We're sorry we didn't mean to make her upset." Raven said.

"Well you should have just let it go," Clarke then looked over at the teacher, "Mr. Pike can I go to the water fountain, my throat is pretty dry."

"Of course Clarke." The teacher said giving her a hall pass.

"I'm gonna go get her. When she comes back can you just leave her alone?" Clarke whispered to her friends.

The two girls shook their heads yes.

Clarke walked past the water fountain to the closest bathroom. She walked in but Lexa wasn't there, so she went to the next closest bathroom. The brunette wasn't in that one either. She finally found the girl in a bathroom far away from the classroom.

"Hey Lexa are you okay?" Clarke asked taking the brunette's hand in hers.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Lexa said, her voice shaky as she look the opposite way.

"Look at me." Lexa turned to look at Clarke.

Clarke's heart broke when she saw the girl's beautiful green eyes, red and puffy. She walked up to the girl and hugged her.

"We can just say here if you want." Clarke said tightening the hug.

Lexa shook her head no in the crook of Clarke's neck, "No we can't."

"Yes we can. I'll text O to tell Mr. Pike that I had a breakdown and you found me and decided to comfort me." Clarke said starting to rub soothing circles on the girl's back.

"Really?" Lexa asked moving to look into Clarke's eyes.

Clarke nodded her head yes and let go of the hug to text Octavia.

Lexa doesnt wanna come back to

class so tell Jaha i had a breakdown

and Lexa found me so she's

comforting me rn

or something like that

Yeah of course.

Clarke put her phone back in her pocket and sat down on the floor. She patted the floor next to her indicating for Lexa to sit down next to her. Lexa looked at the floor then back up at Clarke gave her a disgusted look.

"What? Do you not wanna sit down?" Clarke asked.

"I do, but it's the floor in the school bathroom. That's kinda disgusting."

Clarke rolled her eyes taking her hoodie off and put it on the floor, "Better?"

"Thank you." Lexa said with a small smile.

She sat down putting her head on Clarke's shoulder. The blonde wrapped one arm around Lexa's shoulder, while the other arm wrapped around Lexa's waist. She pulled her closer to hug her resting her head on Lexa's head. Lexa started to feel a bunch of butterflies in her stomach but was too upset to think about that.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Clarke asked.

"About what?"

"What made you get upset. It was obviously more than talking about the whole Finn thing."

"No, not really." Lexa whispered.

"Then we don't have to." Clarke said hugging Lexa a little tighter.

"Do you wanna come over today?" Lexa timidly asked.

"Yeah of course."

"Okay, we can do homework or whatever?"

"What does this whatever consistent of?" Clarke asked.

"Huh?" Lexa asked as she looked up at Clarke. She saw a big smirk on Clarke's face and instantly knew what she meant, "Oh shut up, that's not happening ever."

"Oh but it already has, it's actually happened four times. To be honest I wouldn't really mind it happening a fifth maybe even a sixth time."

"Why are you like this? We were actually having like a nice little moment and you had to ruin it with your perved mind." Lexa said as she started to laugh.

"Because I knew it would make you laugh. And I much rather hear you laugh than see you upset."

"Well then thank you for making me laugh."

"Anytime Woods."

Lexa put her head back on Clarke's shoulder, "I wish we could skip eighth period and just stay here."

"On the dirty bathroom floor? I much rather just leave school."

"Yeah, but we can't."

"Actually we can."

"Huh?" Lexa said confused.

"Don't know if you know this, but you're actually talking to the master of making fake doctor notes. I make them all the time for me and my friends. If you wanna leave just give me a piece of paper." Clarke said looking down at Lexa.

"Really?"

"Yeah as long as your parents haven't written notes to the school yet, no one will know that it's not from them."

"They haven't. Can you really do that?" Lexa asked lifting her head back up getting excited.

"Yeah of course I can. Do you want me to?"

"I don't know, I've never done something like that before. What if we get caught?"

"It'll be fine. I've been doing it since sophomore year and haven't gotten caught."

"Okay, let's do it." Lexa said nodding her head.

Lexa put her head back on Clarke's shoulder once again, and Clarke tightened her grip around Lexa's waist a little, while they waited for Octavia and Raven.
