I was wearing my maroon dress with heels

I went to my car and drove to the party, I arrived and the building is a castle. It's so beautiful and humongous

I went inside the party and I don't know anyone there, I got awkward because no one was talking to me

I shrugged and just went to the food court

I got myself a water bottle and left, I walked around and examine everyone here

Everyone looks so rich here, they were wearing expensive stuff and they look so professional

I feel so left out

"Alright everyone grabs a partner and dances," the singer said and starts singing a slow romantic song

Everyone start dancing while I was just standing until I saw a woman with a masquerade mask coming toward me

"Can I have this dance?" She asked, her voice was familiar

"I'm bad though," I said shyly and she smirks

"Doesn't matter" she dragged me to the dance floor

I look at her face, but I didn't recognize it since the mask is covering it

She holds my neck and I put my arms around her waist and we started to dance slowly

She kept looking at me

"Can I keep you?" She whispered, I was about to respond. But the music ended she let go of me and left

I decided to walk around the building, I was walking around the building and everything I see seems to amaze me

I walked around until I bumped into someone, I looked up and saw a man stumbling around

"HEY!! Watch out!" He said screaming

"You're the one who can't walk right!" I shouted back

"What?!" He got closer to me and was about to slap me

I close my eyes and felt a body-hugging me protectively

I heard the slap, but I never felt it

I looked up and saw the same woman with a masquerade mask hugging in front of me, she let go of me slowly and turned around to see the man. She took a step closer to him and he took a step back

"Leave. Her. Alone" she said sternly and the man ran away

The mysterious woman turned back to me looking at me

"Are you okay?" She asked worried and I nodded

"Thanks" I whispered

She was wearing a black dress that stops below her knees her mask covered half her face, it was a masquerade mask

"No problem" she responded and walked past me to leave

I feel unprotected now

I turned around and follow behind her

She stop walking making me stop walking, she turned around and saw me

She smirked

She then turned around to walk again and I follow behind her
