《La Lace (Elizabeth Olsen x F Reader)》Chapter 3- My bartender

My thoughts weren't as cloudy as I thought they would be. I wanted to see her there and so when the Uber pulled up outside the club, my eyes darted around as I searched for the black and gold motorbike she had left with before. I didn't see it. Damn.

Just as I thought she wasn't going to be there; I see her bike. An older gentleman was stood next to it, admiring the modifications Y/N had so clearly made to it. My heart swirled in my chest and I took a breath of relief. Aubrey noticed my staring.

"Since when have you taken an interest in bikes?" She paused, thinking. "Is that hers? No way." She was giddy like a child.

I didn't answer but instead pushed her into the club. The music was different but held the same atmosphere. The women were the same as the other night, but their underwear had changed. Why was I noticing the women? I really have to figure some things out.

She was here. Sat on a stool at the bar. I can only assume she was waiting for her shift to begin. I tried not to make it obvious that I was watching her. I didn't want her or Aubrey to clock me. Before we had even sat down Aubrey was at the bar ordering drinks for us. I wasn't planning on getting wasted again. I had learnt my lesson from last time. We made our way to a booth one of which had an amazing view of the strobe light infested bar.

Where were u last night and the night before?

Answer me, come on.

Working, what else would I be doing?

What's the issue?

Ur really going to lie to me like that?

I know u fucked some slut

My shift starts in 10 and u better have an amazing excuse

How did she find out? Was it one of the girls on shift that night? We weren't exclusive, I thought we had made that clear but it would seem it wasn't so obvious as I thought. Fuck.

I stayed sat on a bar stool, now a drink in my right hand and I didn't hesitate to chug it down when I saw Florence charging towards me. Shit.

"Go on" She commanded, loudly.

"Babe- " She cut me off as I went to speak.

"Don't 'Babe' me. You're a fucking dickhead, you know that right? Fuck you. I hope it was worth it!" She angrily said in a perfect British accent.

The blond wavy-haired woman wearing an oversized hoodie and heels which made her look taller than most of the men here, didn't look happy with Y/N. By what I could hear it sounded heated and by the looks of it, Y/N was getting told off.

She yelled at her; Y/N looked like she couldn't get a word in. Should I go over? No. That was a stupid idea. But I can't watch her get yelled at and not do anything... Yes, I can, it looks personal and I shouldn't get involved. My eyes stayed fixated on the drama.

The next thing I knew, Y/N was looking right back at me. Not bothering to have the confrontation with the stripper who I can only assume is her GF. Possibly her ex-girlfriend now. I didn't avert my eyes and that was probably the worse decision I had made all year.

"You have to be joking, Y/N. Is that her? The one you're eye fucking?!" She screamed as I went to look away, the sound of the hand colliding with Y/Ns face made my attention turn straight back to them. Y/N held her face and looked back to the British woman with a look of anger. I stood up, about to go over before Aubrey pulls me back down and I watch my bartender take a shot of Vodka, the other woman charging away. My bartender. Did I really just call her that?

I had waited long enough to go over to her. She had started her shift and Aubrey was having a fun time with one of her strippers, so I made my way over to her. She didn't look at me, weird.

I sat at the bar waiting for her to talk to me, offer me a drink or even just look in my direction but she didn't.

"Are you ignoring me?" I asked with a scoff, shaking my head.

She didn't reply. What an asshole. After a few minutes of me pestering her as to why she was ignoring me, because really... what had I done wrong? She finally spoke.

"You told me to leave you alone. Make up your mind." She said bluntly, still not making the drink I had asked for. She was clearly aggravated after the incident that had just occurred, but that wasn't my problem so why should she be allowed to take it out on me?

I didn't answer her back, I thought I would give her a taste of her own medicine. I deserved to be treated better than that. I left without another word.

The next day would be an experience. Would she even turn up to work? I hope not because I can't stand her, to be honest.

At least that's what I'm telling myself.
