After just talking for a while, Brendon and Dallon decide to walk back to their car.

They walk hand in hand, not really saying a lot.

"Thank you for listening to me, earlier. I love you a lot," Dallon says, as he opens the car door for Brendon and he kisses his cheek.

"Of course, babe. I love you too."

Brendon sits down in the car and watches as Dallon walks around the car and sits down too.

"So, do you wanna go home now?" Dallon asks and he looks at Brendon, who nods.

"Yeah, I really want to read this new book I bought a few days ago." "Alright," Dallon says with a smile on her face and Brendon smiles back.

"Maybe you could play the piano for me..." He mumbles softly and Dallon smiles even more.

"I would love to play the piano for you." "Can you play me Disney songs?" "If I can find my sheet music." "Yay!"

Brendon seems so excited and Dallon smiles widely.

"You seem so happy with that." "Yeah, I like when you play the piano. You just seem so different, when you play piano. You seem so happy and calm." "Well, I love playing piano. I've been doing it ever since I was a kid." "Aww."

Dallon starts the car and drives away, so they can go home.

"I wish I could play an instrument," Brendon says, looking out of the window and Dallon glances at him.

"Well, you could take lessons. What instrument would you want to play?" "Maybe guitar... I like the guitar." "Well, you could buy a guitar and take lessons."

Brendon nods and smiles.

"Yeah, I'll think about that."

Dallon puts one of his hands on Brendon's knee and squeezes it softly, making Brendon smile a little at the little gesture.

He holds Dallon's hand with both of his hands and just looks at the road in front of them, hi face being illuminated by the traffic lights and lights from other cars.

The ride home doesn't take long and Dallon parks the car in the garage with ease.

When they get to the apartment, Brendon unlocks the door and they walk inside.

"Do you want anything to drink?" He asks, as he walks towards the kitchen and he looks at Dallon.

"Yeah, please. I'd like a glass of wine." "Alright. White or red?" "Uhh, red, please." "Alright, babe."

Brendon walks into the kitchen and he pours Dallon a glass of wine and he grabs himself a bottle of beer.

When he walks into the living room again, Dallon is looking through some sheet music.

"There you go, babe," Brendon says as he puts the wine on a coaster on the piano.

"Thanks, love." "You're welcome."

Brendon puts his beer on the table before he goes to get his book.

When he comes back, Dallon is trying to play something and he just smiles at how focused Dallon seems.

He sits down on the couch, gets comfortable and just starts reading.

He could do this for hours on end, mostly because his parents just let him read for hours when he was young.

He'd sit in the kitchen of his parents' restaurant and his mom would buy him books to read, so he wouldn't get in the way.

His sister would always help in the restaurant because she was older and more mature and their parents could use the help.

For as far as Brendon knew, his sister still worked at the restaurant and even though he'd worked as a stripper and later as an intern for a software company, (well, he was still convinced he'd been the coffee lady) he still pitied his sister.

He pitied her because as much as they were nice, being around them every day would be too much for everyone.

Dallon starts actually playing a song now and Brendon smiles as he realizes that it's Once Upon a Dream.

He just hums along while reading his book.

Dallon just glances at Brendon from time to time and smiles.

He sometimes still couldn't believe that Brendon was his boyfriend and right now was one of those moments.

Because the thing that was happening right now, Brendon just reading his book and Dallon playing piano seemed so normal, so casual, even though a few months Dallon would've never thought that he would ever have something like this.

He had never been this happy.

Brendon looks up, suddenly and he gives Dallon an almost blinding smile, making Dallon's heart skip a best and making him fuck up the song.

"Sorry..." He mumbles before he looks at the sheet music again and starts playing the right thing again. He blushes furiously and Brendon just giggles a little.

"That was kinda cute," he says and Dallon blushes even more.

"You're cute," he retorts and Brendon smiles.

"You're cuter."

Dallon rolls his eyes.

"You're the cutest."
