"Where do you even keep your car?" Brendon asks, just as they're about to leave and Dallon smiles.

"In the garage of this building, honey." "Yeah, that makes sense. I didn't know this building had a garage, though." "It does and it's a pretty big garage."

Brendon grabs a few last things, including two phone chargers.

"Alright, we can leave now." "Alright, honey."

Dallon grabs the suitcase he'd packed for the both of them and they walk into the elevator.

When they get to the garage, Brendon looks around, trying to find out which one of the cars is Dallon's.

"Which one's yours?" He asks and Dallon points at a whole row of cars, making Brendon raise his eyebrows.

"All of them?" He asks and Dallon nods.

"Yeah, all 8 of them." "That's... A lot." "I know. I was bored and I have too much money, so I bought some cars. I brought the keys of that car, though," Dallon says and he points at a nice Mercedes.

Brendon just nods and Dallon unlocks it, putting the suitcase in the back and then opening the door for Brendon.

"Thanks, babe." "Of course, honey."

Dallon walks to the driver's side and takes a deep breath before he sits down.

He starts the car and they drive out of the garage, through the busy streets of New York. They just drive in silence for a while, until Brendon decides to put the music on.

"You know, if you want, you can connect your phone to the system," Dallon says and Brendon nods.

"Alright. I like this song, though." "Alright, honey."

Dallon glances at Brendon for a second and he smiles, putting a hand on Brendon's knee.

"I love you," he just mumbles and Brendon smiles, putting a hand on Dallon's.

"I love you too, baby." "You don't know how happy it makes me, just hearing you say that. I needed that." "Is everything okay, honey?" "Yeah, it's just that I've been thinking about how to tell you about my parents." "Just go for it, right now. I'll listen and I won't judge, I promise." "Alright..."

Dallon takes a deep breath and looks at the road.

"A few years ago, I was a selfish bastard, who only thought of himself and never, ever thought about how others might be feeling. I had just started my business and it was starting to pick up a little. Things were going great, business-wise and I wanted them to go even better. So, I started working more and more, not going to family stuff, like birthdays. In the beginning, I went to my parents, for the holidays, but I gradually just stopped showing up at all. I maybe called my parents, once a month, but later, I also started calling less."

Dallon stops talking for a few minutes, but Brendon doesn't say anything, he just waits for Dallon to continue talking.

"When my company really got big, I started to regret not talking to my parents at all, they had to hear everything from my personal assistant, at the time. And I felt bad, I really did... So I asked them if they wanted to visit me, in New York, so that I could apologize and I flew them out. But... Only my dad showed up..."

Dallon takes an exit, to a quiet road, that leads to a forest and then goes past a lake. He parks the car on the side of the road and takes a deep breath.

"Apparently my mom had died from a heart attack and my dad and my brother had tried to contact me, but they couldn't get a hold of me."

Brendon holds Dallon's hand and squeezes it softly, making Dallon look up at him and smile sadly.

"I wasn't at her funeral because I had put my work before my family... When my dad went back to Utah, his plane crashed and he died of his injuries, in the hospital. My brother blamed me for it and he refused to talk to me for almost 2 years. He cut all ties with me, so I couldn't apologize, or anything. And he's the only one I have left, family-wise and I always feel guilty, honestly..." "Oh, honey... I'm so sorry..."

Brendon pulls Dallon closer to him and kisses his forehead.

"It's okay, I've kind of made peace with it. I try and visit my parents' graves at least once, every two months, now."

Brendon nods and Dallon smiles a little.

"And now I wanna introduce you to my parents," Dallon says and he gets out of the car. Brendon gets out too and walks up to Dallon, holding his hand again.

"I'd love to meet your parents." "Good."

They walk past the lake and Brendon shivers slightly because it was a little cold and Dallon pulls him closer.

They get to a small, pretty neat graveyard and Brendon just follows Dallon.

They get to two graves, next to each other and Dallon takes in a deep breath.

"Hey, mom and dad..." He mumbles softly and Brendon just looks at him, smiling a little at the soft expression on Dallon's face.

"I want you guys to meet someone special... This is Brendon, my boyfriend. He's amazing, honestly. He's really sweet and caring and he can make a really good chicken casserole that I will probably never stop talking about. I love him a lot and I know that you guys would've loved him too..."

Brendon doesn't dare say anything, the fact that Dallon was talking to his parents felt like something really intimate, for some reason, probably because he seemed really emotional about it.

"They really would've loved you, Bren," Dallon says and he looks up at his boyfriend, who smiles softly and nods.

"I'm sure I would've loved them too." "I think you would've, yeah... Well, let's just continue our trip to Maine, we've still got a while to go." "Yeah, let's go."

As soon as they turn around, Dallon freezes and he looks at the man that's walking into the graveyard, with fresh flowers and the man seems to freeze too.

"Weston..." Dallon mumbles and Weston nods.

"Dallon, hi."
