Chapter 39 - Journal update!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! ... Damn it, it's a filler chapter.

I seriously think everyone is out to get Ojisan or something. Yesterday Ojisan was woken up, beaten and tied up by Rin. Today, Naruto decided to for once not let Ojisan sleep in and made one of his water balloons burst, drenching Jiraiya-Ojisan's face. I felt kinda proud that Naruto had passed the first stage, but I have to say that Rin took the cake again today when she ran in and splashed a bucket almost as big as she was onto Ojisan also, not only getting his face wet again, but drenching the rest of the clothes. And because of the water woke him up in shock in once again tried to attack Rin. Let's just say he ended up being tied up again.... I think I like this soon to be tradition on waking up the old pervert...

... It's a have-to-be-there kind of thing. I'm just saying, Ojisan’s face was priceless!

So after Ojisan had dried off and everything he gave his okay to Naruto to burst the water balloon. What I found surprising is that he had to use his right hand to pour his chakra into the ball and on different spots to make the water push against the balloon, making it look spiked all over the place before it burst, as he held it in his left hand. I looked down at my right hand as Naruto began freaking about because both Rin and Ojisan had fallen asleep when he was showing us before I looked out the window watching as a couple of birds landed on a nearby telephone wire. I must have been staring off into space because I found myself lying on the floor with Naruto and Jiraiya- Ojisan giving me a weird look. I blinked couple of times before I pushed myself into a sitting position.

"What?" I asked after I sat up. Naruto gave me a weird look, and Ojisan gave me a concerned one.

"You where muttering to yourself. It almost looked like you were talking to yourself. You kept on talking to yourself till you suddenly feel over. It was weird." Naruto told me, making me blink again before I pulled a bored expression and got up.

"So? What's so weird about it? I was probably just thinking out loud without knowing. It's not like I comment when you start talking to your ramen." I yawned and stretched my arms above my head before looking from side to side. "Hey, by the way, where's Rin?" Naruto pointed to the door.

"She went to go and have a bath. Said something about you staying like that for a few minutes and then ran off to wash." He said before he too stretched and then starched his stomach. I gave him a nodded before I looked away from the two and crossed my arms over my chest as I leaned against a nearby wall. 'What happened when I was spacing out?... Oi! Suteki! I know you can hear me.' I huffed when she didn't respond. 'Fine, don't talk to me, you batty old hag.' I waited a few seconds but I still didn't get a reply from her. I sighed and stopped leaning onto the wall and made my wall to my bag that was in a nearby counter.

"Okay, well when she gets back could you take her with you guys. I have to grab some stuff in town before I resume my training." I said as I rummaged though my bag before I stood my and lazily let it hang off one shoulder. "Is that okay?" Naruto and Ojisan both nodded.

"What do you need? It's not like a ninja village where they sell weapons and stuff." Ojisan told me as i began to walk to the door. I looked over my shoulder and smiled.

"Don't worry, I don't need that kind of stuff." I told him before I hitched my bag higher up my shoulder. "I'll see you guys in a little bit." I said over my shoulder as I walked to and out of the door, making my way down the stars and into the busy street looking from vender to vender.

---------Later----------

'God have I ever neglected this thing!' I thought as I pulled out my old brown leathered journal that was slightly worn from age and had a good coating of dust on it, which I blew off, making a nice little dust cloud. I flipped to the last used page as I slumped down to the ground and leaned against a tree. The last date read May 26. 'That was when I was back at that hell!.... I mean academy..... Gezz, how long has it been?' Minus a couple of doodles I had drawn when I was completely bored out of mind, May 26 was the last time I had written in it, besides the one time I had writeing in it after Nala and I got our ears pirced, but I had negelted to write a date. Smiling I flipped to the front cover where I held a couple of photos my families and of both my teams, glaring at a certain person in some. I flipped to the next clean page.

Date: Umm... Let me see. Last time was May 26, I was in the academy (Hell) for a couple more days, I think to or three. Then was in my new squad, we did mission for maybe two weeks, so that makes it beginning of June, then stayed at Tazuna's house for a month for a mission against Zabuza... Mooooo.. Beginning of July was chunin exams, five days in forest, then another month to help Naruto 'train', oh, and also five days of me being in the hospital before training Naruto, so now the beginning of August, a little closer to middle. After that was the couple of days, around two, of just wandering Village, then left with Naruto and Ojisan to train, around two weeks around, so i would say close to the end of August!

Sensei note: This is a general summarization of what was really happened though almost the whole manga, but in Harmony's words. I guess you could skip it if you wanted to, or you can read it if you want a re-fresher.

Date: Close to end of August.

Hey there my ever so neglected journal, how has life been living in my ever so dark and lonely backpack? A lot of things have changed since the last time I wrote, if you can't tell by me generalizing everything as I tried to figure out what the date might be. Let’s start from the top. After I was freed from the academy I was placed into squad seven with Naruto, now my little brother, Sasuke, the last survivor of Obito's clan, Sakura, a major fan girl but may have some potential in fighting. And also our 'sensei' was Kakashi Hatake, who at the time was still my best friend... and maybe an old crush... But not anymore. Hell no. Not in a million years.

I nearly snapped my pencil in two as I wrote that name and what I how I use to think about him. I placed a hand over my eyes and took two deep breaths before removing my hand and looking around. I could see Naruto and Ojisan a little bit away, and could hear them too, seeing as Naruto was yelling at him because Ojisan refuse to 'teach' him anything because all Ojisan did was give him a rubber ball and tell him to burst that, and when Naruto asked for a hint, Ojisan demanded money. A little bit away from then was Rin standing next to a tree and playing with my orange goggles, taking them off and on over and over again. I had given them to her for the day if she promised me that she would not disturb my training, which she luckily agreed too. Apparently, ever since she saw me she had always wanted to try them all, so she was more them happy to agree. I smiled softly and ran a hand though my short hair. The shortness of it still surprised me a little every time I ran a hand though it or brushed it, but I know I will get used to it sooner or later. I turned back to my journal.

Umm... Where was I? Oh, right! Right after we got grouped into squads! Well needless to say but the teamwork severely lacked at the beginning and almost got me killed, because our first big mission that ended up turning into an A rank was to guard some drunk build builder, Tazuna, because this guy, Gaito, was after his life because of said bridge Tazuna was building. The reason it turning into an A rank because an old enemy of mine, Zabuza, demon of the mist, ended up being one of the guys Gaito had hired. Okay, the nearly killing me was slightly exaggerated, and mostly my own fault. So after Hatake 'killed' Zabuza the first time and Haku, who was Zabuza's partner escaped with him every one train how to climbs trees... so much fun! ... Heavy with the sarcasms there.

I think the only good thing that become of those days was Nala, my new best friend, loving sister-pet thing, and partner. I met her in the forest when I wanted to release some steam and it turned out she had this unique ability to talk though people though her minds, not that I really went into further detail. After a few days of training she turned out to be really strong and worthy to be called a nin-cat, or neko, or whatever you want to call her.

So of course, seeing as Zabuza wasn't 'dead' after a few more days or tree climbing/running, we all went to the bridge, minus Nala and Naruto, seeing as he used too much chakra the night before. Just saying, that boy is a tank when it comes to his chakra supply. Back to fighting Zabuza, or Mr.Moo as I like to say seeing as he wore cow pants when we first saw him. Did I mention that he use a frigging WHITE rabbit as a substitute? Totally gave himself away! BAKA! I'm getting off track again, sorry. So when we met Zabuza and Haku at the bridge of course Sasuke went to fight against Haku, who by the way was a sole survivor from the Yuki can that was feared for their powers over ice, and as Sasuke fought him, Hatake and myself of course fought against Zabuza... Well, I didn't really, I stood there and was ready to fight, but the moment Naruto showed up and went into the ice dome or mirrors Haku had made I raced in and protect the two ,leaving Hatake to take care of him.

I don't remember much after that besides trying to protect Sasuke and Naruto and getting lucky when I used the Third dance of the Winds, seeing as I didn't go insane then... Now that I think about it, maybe I didn't get so lucky, because I do remember being severely injured a little bit later, but still having the guts to give Gaito a death threat when he was surrounded by bandits and hired thugs! Okay, I officially blame that day for my now mental condition! I bet if I hadn’t used that, that day, I would be a little bit more sane and wouldn’t' have 'company' in my head.

Oh! Also, that same day, after Sasuke and I got hurt real bad because we both protected Naruto, Naruto had gotten so angry and his seal on the Nine-Tailed Fox was loosen a bit, so I guess he ended up beating Haku up pretty bad, but he was still alive, only to die when using himself as Zabuza's shield against Hatake's Chidori. Zabuza ended up dying that someday but it was from all the weapons that got stuck in his back from all the thugs as he ran through them, killing them with a single kunia that he was holding in his mouth. I got to say, no matter how much of a baka that man was, he was pretty bad-ass there. Oh, and he killed Gaito, Yea! ^.^

After that we stayed for a little bit longer with Tazuna and his grandson Inari, and when He competed the bridge we finally left to come back to the Leaf village, and unfortunately, before I had made a deal with Naruto that if we all got out of that in one piece I would buy him as much ramen as he could handle. I hope I will never have to do the same thing again.

Okay, so the next part I am just going to hugely summarize. So we got back and all and then we all soon met Gaara, the One Tailed jinjuriki, and his sibling, Temari and Kankuro, from the Sand. Hatake them told us all about the chunin exams and I went to gramps, got my rank of chunin back, but in secret, and it was decided that I would still go into the exam, but only to see if there was any strange things going to happen. Then we, Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, and I all went to go to the first test, and ended up getting into a fight with Lee, or as I say, a mini Gai.... Who I also say again and was nearly killed by his 'power of youth.' I then forfeited the first test, which was a paper and pencil one, leaving the other three t take the second test, Forest of death, alone.... Sorta.

I had actually made a shadow clone and transformed that, Nala and I into different girls and took the test to watch over them, and thank God we did. On the first day we ended up running into a grass shinobi which turned out to be Orochimaru, who still remembers me, and even what my chakra feels like, so he wasn't fooled by my disguise like everyone else. We ended up fighting and loosing, and Sasuke got biting by Mr. Pedo Snake and was giving a cures mark, and for some reason, which I found out later why, but the next morning when Sakura and I were tending to Naruto and Sasuke who both got hurt I ended up getting a weird mark that covered my whole back. My first 'tattoo'.

Because it was my first and I wasn't use to it at all I was too weak to really do anything, which was just our luck because a squad of sound Genins, the village that Orochimaru runs, attacked us not even ten minutes later. Sakura and I tried out best to defend ourselves, but if Sasuke hadn't woken up and used his curse mark, we probably would have died. Not that I am say that Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji who showed up didn't help. They weren't as much help. Also, Neji, Tenten, and Lee showed up! Wait, that is completely out of order. It went Lee's team showed up first, Lee helped fight, then InoShikaCho, and THEN Sasuke woke up and all hell broke loose. I think that right. Baa, too many months ago to remember fully.

After that we all chilled out by the lake for a couple of days to heal and all. Sasuke ended up realizing who i was before Kabuto *cough fucking rat snake play toy bastard cough * showed up and we ended up splitting up. Now that I think about it, why is it always Sasuke that figures something out about me? I mean, I know I told him a couple of half-truths before the genin exam, but seriously? The guy can't know me well enough to know that I don't even sleep or something! Urg... Sleep, just talking and writing about it makes me tried now. I need some coffee... What is coffee? I need some green tea... OFF TOPIC AGAIN!! Wow, I am really all over the place.... -_-'

After we all spilt up, Raion (Nala) Chita (Shadow clone) and I (Shuzme) made it to the tower that same night. All I remember for that nigh was being so tried I couldn't really even walk or talk, but I yelled at Hatake and jumped away from him when he tried to help me (I don't see why he even bothered now) and bleeding a lot from the 'tattoo' and a kunia wound I had received from the sound trio that still was not healed.

After a good night sleep with no nightmares (haven't had one since, not that I really try any more) we all went to the prelims to fight. I had made Nala and my shadow clone quit because I couldn't fight with holding their transformations up. After that I ended up fighting again Kabuto *rat snake play toy bastard* All in all it seemed good at the beginning, but then he got the upper hand by making me revel who I was and talked a bit about my past because he had known me from when he was a kid, and he blackmailed me with some of his f-ing info cards he had on me. Should have strangled him when I got the chance. Naruto told me that after that I got extremly mad and used this super amazing jutsu or something that made me super-fast.... I probably used the third dance again!!! GOD DAMN IT! I was so stupid! I could have lost controlled and tried to kill everyone in the arena!!! I have got to stop letting my anger control me! I now blame not only the day with Haku, but that day as well form my mentally stability, because as far as I know, I have none!

.... It's amazing the things one remembers when they start ranting in their journal.....

So after I had activated the Third wind and fought with Kabuto, he ended up getting the upper hand when he stabbed a kunia into my gut, making me back off and then he apparently went for my heart, but luckily the damn rat had really poor aim because he missed my heart by a little bit, but I was still placed in the hospital, and unluckily again, the scar by my heart where Kabuto tried to stabbed me ended up being covered by my second 'tattoo'. But I think the most unluckily thing that happened in the hospital after I woke up was my fight with Hatake.... Um let me correct that, my FIRST fight with him, when I said a few things about how I felt about him (Use too feel about him) that I usually would have rather died then utter a single word off.

Needless to say after all that.... I made a break for it... I know, smooth. Running into the forest when I was still in a hospital dress. And if you are wondering journal, who has no mind, no Kaka- Hatake did not run after me, Nala did, like the great fighting partner she is. :)

I think I need to wrap this up soon, or I will run out of paper. Um, okay, very quickly summery of what happened later.

!. Next morning ran into Naruto (who was still angry at me, but no longer!) and Ojisan (Still a perv).

2. Decided to take up my old nickname the Akia Hana back.

3. Take Naruto to mine and Sensei's creek and told him my past, sorta.

4. Check up on Sasuke, got into ANOTHER fight with Hatake, his fault, he was the one who broke his promise to me, so I had no reason to keep mine, which must have been so stupid because I don't even remember it anymore.

5. No longer consider Hatake as my friend and comrade. (Still do.)

6. Tried to help Naruto train. Meet old Toad chief again, in no so good conditions.... Falling down a massive cliff with spikes everywhere.... Thank god Naruto is a tank when it comes to chakra. Even if it was borrowed for that damn fox.

7.Got dragged into shopping with Nala, Sakura, and Ino. (NEVER AGAIN!) Plus telling them a little about past so they didn't hate me anymore.

8. Forced into wearing a dress to chunin exam.

9. Litterly ran into new arch enemy. Mr. Cocky bastard Playboy Kotori Maiagaru. I think that’s say it all, rather not go into detail. If I did I would end up tearing this up from anger.
