Chapter 34 -
* * * * A meeting with the Stars * * * *
-----------------
Re-cap:
Even though pretty much my whole body is wrapped up in one giant bandage, the doctors and nurses had wrapped this one part of my body separately, so it could be easily be put on and removed. I frowned at what was beneath, even though I looked at it every hour or so. It was two simple vines that made a circle around my upper arm, one on top of the over, a couple inches apart, and on the inside of the two ink vines, there was a simple kanji for the number thirteen. I sighed before I covered it up again, realizing that having no thoughts and no emotions right now would be the hardest thing to do, mostly because I was extremly sad right now, but with this new tattoo, and the price I realized I had to pay because of it, I was extremly pissed. I glared at random leafs as the rain now slowing to a halt, my hand still lying onto of my re-bandaged arm. 'It's all because of her... It is all her fault.' None of this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for her!!'
______________
I waited until every one had left before I jumped out of the tree and walked over to Gramps picture and layed my flower down below it. I looked up at his picture and couldn't help but smile. even if before I was too sad to care, and extremly pissed off, just seeing his smiling face, even if it was just a picture, it made me want to smile and be happy, like everything I was just going through can wait until I am strong enough to deal with it. That's why I all ways went to visit him, to make myself stronger each and every day. I sat down on the ground and looked up at the photo of him and all that gave their lives.
"Hey old man. How's the afterlife. It's probably way better than the real world; there you don't really have to deal with all these files and missions you have to go thought... Unless they make you like the Hokage of filing there. That would suck. Like, big time. Any way... I guess this is where I am supposed to demand why you left, but I am not going to do that, I am going to make you feel guilty. A few days ago, I wore a dress! Ha!! See if you hadn't gone and died, you could have seen me in the dress, because for as long as can remember, you were all ways trying to get me into one, saying how cute I would look. But now you can never see me in one, because... it... kinda... got burnt when I was fighting.... By a guy from the Sand that I met.... Who was with the Sound... Who is being led by Orochimaru... Who tried to kill you..." I placed a finger on my lip and frowned. "Okay, I guess it isn't your fault for dying and not seeing the red dress that I was tortured into. Sakura and Ino, also Nala was in on it too.

"Oh and Hatake and I got into another fight, but this time I don't think he will be coming back to apologize to me and be my slave for a day like he use to when we were kids, and I guess I don't want him to apologize. I don’t really want to see his face ever again... And I bet you can guess why seeing that I now know all those looks you use to give me when I use to walk randomly into your office with him... And now I am rambling, so I think I should stop... I mean, I am just pretty much talking my heart out to a picture. And no matter how much I want you to still be alive and wrap your arms around me and say that everything is going to be okay and just kept on placing on foot in front of each other and it will soon all be in the past, I know that it won't happen anymore." I could feel some tears getting ready to pore over, so I quickly brushed them away before they had the chance. I stood up after that "I just miss you... You where one of the very few people I truly respected." I took a deep breath and then bowed my head. "I will all ways keep you close in my heart, Hokage-sama, now and forever." I smiled as I lifted my head.
"And I promise you, I will protect this village the best I can in your absent!" I gave him a thumbs up, but my smile slowly faded as I lowered my hand and placed one on my right arm. 'But how can I do that if.... If what 'She' said was right. I won’t be able to... Not until it is all over...' I looked down at my bandaged arm and thought about what happened after my fight.
---------- Two days ago---------
I was surrounded by darkness. I could see nor feel anything, but I knew somehow that I was standing in nothing, just like the last time. After what could have been either seconds or hours in the darkness, a small light came on, like one at the end of a very long tunnel. I wanted to run to it, but I couldn't move, but that was all right. I could tell the light was getting bigger and bigger, until all the darkness was gone and I was standing on a small field of grass beside a waterfall. There was a floral smell in the air. This time I recongized it. It smelled like the cheery blossons off the tree that was next to my old home. I took a good look around and saw that there was a cherry tree beside the waterfall, but there was also someone standing below it, her back to me. It was strangle, unlike the our surroundings, which I could see crystal clear, she was still a blurr to me. I rubbed my eyes a little and looked around again. 'There's no doubt, this is the same spot that I came too when I was dreaming and I got my first mark on my back. And that's means...' I turned and looked over to the woman, who was still a blurr to me.
"That I was the one that gave you that mark." The woman suddently sad to me. I took a step back in schock. 'How could she have know what I was thinking?! There is no way that it is possible!'
"Oh, but it is very possible, Harmony. You see, this is my world. I created it, I control it. I can do what every I want, even hear your thoughts." I took another step away from her, not liking the arua I was sencing from her. It was menacing and full of bloodlust, but there was also a calming nature in it. I could't make sence of it. The woman turned around and faced me, but she was still a blurr. All I could tell is that she was taller then me, and she had deep red hair, or was wearing a dress of that colour. At the same moment she moved, the wind moved like it was being pushed, and the sound of chimes was made. I was beond confused at that point, I had not seen any chimes here, so I didn't what made the noise, or made the wind move.

"Who are you?! Why am I here?" I called out to the strange woman. The woman chuckled at my questions.
"You are simply here becasue I want you here. Is that really that hard to understand. My world, my rules, so what every I want here, I get." The woman shrugged after that then rolled her head. Once again, the wind moved, and chimes went off.
'Wait! I saw her shrugged her shuodlers and roll her head! If I can see her do that... Then she's not really a blurr, something is messing with my eyes!" I looked at my surroundings again and then back at her. 'She is the only thing I can't see. She must me blocking my sight or something.' I slowly moved my hand to my weapon pouch to grab a kunia, but I noticed that my weapon pouch was gone. All of them! I looked down at my autire and noticed that I was no longer wearing what I was wearing before when I was fighting, now I was weairng a simple white kimono that went to my knees and was tied in the back in a simple knot and I was barefoot. When I was looking at the kimono in surprise, the woman in front of my suddently laughed, making my jump. When I jumped, I felt something brush against my face. I moved my hand to it and saw that it was my hair that brushed against my face. I swore at my fright of my hair and turned to the woman, but then noticed that my vision was even worse then before. Half of the blurred woman was now covered by a type of red curtain, so something.
"What the?!" I blinked and shook my head. The curtain that blocked her moved as I shook my head. My eyes went wide when I saw the 'curtain' move back to cover half of the blurred woman. The left half! I moved my hand again and felt the left side of my face and felt something covering it. My hair!! I pushed my hair back and it fell back on my face, covering my left eye again. I pushed it again and hooked it behind my ear and looked my attire again and noticed that my hair, instead of being slightly singed and not even reaching my shoulders, but now it was perfectly healthy and now reaching past my waist once again. It was exactly when I went on the last mission, well all except the weird kimono. I looked up again at the woman in front of me, and glared, and unfortunately, my hair fell down again, blocking half my vision, and also cut the power of my glare in half, seeing as she could only see my one eye. 'Damn it! I am so not use to my hair like this anymore!! I can't see anything!! And it's so heavy!!!' I complained in my mind. 'She must have done something, like switching my clothes.'
"I probably don't have to say this, seeing as you can hear my every thought. But I am guessing that you are the one that swapped my clothes and made my hair long again?" I growled at her. The blur in front of me clapped. The wind moved, a chime was heard.
"Good job in figuring that out, little Harmony!" I saw the blur move closer, and I felt something brush against my face again, but this time, the hair covering my eye was lifted up, and then fell down again. The wind moved again, and the same with the chime "You see, I don't really like short hair, and I really liked before when you wore your hair like this, so I made it grow out again. Also, I didn’t like the sight of those grimy brunt clothes you were wearing, so you are now wearing that! It looks so cute on you!!" The blur clapped again. Wind. Chime.
"I can disagree with that, this hair is annoying and heavy... And you still haven't answered my question about who the hell you are." I spat at her before I took a breath. "If you did this to me, then you are also the one blocking my sight from seeing you. Like you said, you can do whatever you please here because it is your world, so you must not want me from seeing you." The blurred woman didn't answer me right away. A breeze blew by, shaking the cherry tree lightly, making some petals gentily fall down, but this time, it was a different movement in the wind, and there were no chimes. I placed a hand on my hip, my impatiens getting to me. "Well..."
"No... I am not the one blocking your sight... Not completely anyway..." She said in confident voice. "You’re the one blocking your own sight."
"What the hell do you mean by that? That's not possible!!! You’re the only one I can't see!!! This is your world like you said!!! If you aren't blocking my sight, then how am I?" I yelled at her. I heard her sigh and take a few steps away from me, back to the cherry tree, and once again, I felt that strange wind and heard those chimes again. Those where really starting to piss me off.
"Simple. This may be my world, but it is inside of you. Just like everyone else from your clan. I may control this place, but there are some things that I don’t have control of. like the one that you loved so much whenn you were a child, so they are here. You made this cherry tree be here. This is just as much my world as it is yours." 'Wait... Just like everyone else from my clan?! What is going on?! Who is she?!' I said to myself in my head, reeling over what she just said.
"Fufufu... I guess I should explain myself a little more. I guess you can say that this place is what the little insects of the Hidden Melody clan would call their cures. I don't really see how thought. Isn't freeing the mind of all pointless this true peace? To think that I would give them such a great thing to help them out and they would shun it. Despicable. Just despicable." My eye twitched as she said that.
"I have no idea what you are talking about, but the clan I come from was a proud clan, and if someone helped them in some way, they would never shun it! Ever!" The woman turned around, I think... It's really hard to see what direction she is facing because she is just a blur!!! 'I am so going to get a headache from this...'
"Oh really, what if what I gave them made them move like the wind that they loved so much, but also make them lose their minds and turned them into killing machines. Machines that you even kill their own family. Do you think they would not shun that? Hmmm... Harmony Kakureta Merodi?" Right after she said that, a strong gust of wind slammed into me, almost knocking me over, but something caught me, something that sounded like chimes. "Oopsie daisy... Better watch your step little girl." A voice said from right beside me. I quickly jumped away from the woman, but only to fall onto the ground. I shook my head and stood up, before I gasped. Everything was now a blur! Now I could only make out colours or the scenery around me, but they were all mixing together, like they were all one.
"Tut tut tut. And there you go again. Changing things. I wish you could keep it to one thing and stop changing it. I really like that cherry tree. It was lovely." I whipped around to where the woman was talking. What I saw I did not expect. In front of me was no longer a blurred shaped, but a person, but not only that... But something I would have never thought to exist. What she said before was true; she did give my clan its cursed.
"Your- There's no way! - How can you- Your Hoshi Kakureta Merodi!! One of the founders of the Hidden Melody can!! Legend said that you were killed because of the tai-jutsu you created! Because it drove you to insanity!! The tai-jutsu you created made you kill your older brother, Tsuki!!" Indeed, just like I said, there standing in front of me was one of the creators of my clan. And like I said, she was driven into insanity because of the tai-jutsu she made. Hoshi sighed and placed a hand on her blood red, sleeveless kimono, and with her other hand, she pushed some of her long, matching red hair, away from her face. After that she looked straight at me with her pure amber eyes
"I guess that's what you can call me, but I have long rid myself of that name, you should know that... It's Suteki Kyoki."
"But- Why are you where!? You’re supposed to be dead!" I couldn't handle what was all going on right now. It felt like my head was about to explode. How could she be alive, she lived over a hundred years ago.
"You forget that you, to world, are supposed to be dead as well. And if it wasn't for me always saving you, you would have, thirteen years ago."
"W-What? What the hell are you talking about?! You never saved me!!" I yelled at her. I must have looked like a compete mess right there, but I was a mess sooo... Nothing I can really do about that.
Hoshi- I mean Suteki took a step closer to me. The wind that was created also knocked me over once again, and the chimes I heard before were much louder this time, so loud I had to cover my ears.
"Ohh... Now that's not very nice. If I wasn't the one that saved you, then how come you are alive today, the same age, and baring three of my marks? Hmmmm?" She walked towrads and grabbed my right arm. I tried to pull away, but her grip on me was to strong.
"Let me go!!! I don't know what you are talking about!!! Let me go you bitch!!!" I yelled and tried to pull away again, only to get punched in the face, hard. Yeah, swearing at one of the dead founders of my clan, who also went insane, not the smartest thing to do.
"And what are you going to do about it? Hmmmm?" Suteki said. Once again, I could feel the bloodlust and rage in the air, and it was all coming from her. I looked back up at her, and wished the moment I did, that I would wake up, or die at least. Suteki was no longer what she looked like before. Her kimono was now as black as night and her blood red air was flying everywhere, tangling with the skeleton wings that where fully opened. On her wings there held a few dangling feathers that looked like ice, and every time they moved from the wind, they would sound like chimes. But that wasn't the scariest part about her. All over her body she had markings, markings that looked like someone combined blood and ink to make them. They covered most of her face too. On the left side of her face was one that looped around her now black eyes, and hooked at the corner of her mouth, that was now full of fangs. I looked down by her heart and saw that right above it held the clans symbol, a cresent moon with three lines though it and two starts on opposite corners. The symbol that her and her older brother made together... She turned her back slightly, looking at a 'feather' that dangled and I could briefly see that on her bare back held giant swirl that stared on the right shoulder and worked its way down, expanding as got longer.
"HAHAHAHA!!! I have been protecting you since you were born!! Be grateful!! If your wench of mother never gave you that flute that had me sealed inside, you would have died!!! You should have died!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!!!" She laughed at the top of her lungs after that. I could feel the cold sweats running down my face. After she was done she looked back down at me and cocked her head to the side and licked her lips. "This is too funny. You don't even know anything about my marks do you? Huh? Do you? Do you know what they really are?!" I jerked my arm again, but I still couldn’t get free.
"I don't know what you are talking about! I know you gave me these tattoos, but what significant do they have!? All they are stupid tattoos that you find joy in placing on people!!" I sat in her face. "Go to hell! You save me? My ass you saved me!! You bring nothing but pain and disgrace to the Hidden Melody clan!!" Suteki let go of me after I said that, but then wheeled around and kicked me right in the gut, almost sending my flying, but the only thing that stopped me from flying was Suteki. She had a tight grip on my once again long hair. 'Gah! This hair is a pain in the ass!! How did I ever fight before!! It only gets in the way!!'
"Hahahahaha!!!! This is just too much!!!! Did you really think that is was the universe or something that saved you all those years ago?! Wrong!!!! HAHA!! If I hadn't sealed your body here, all those boulders would have crushed you!!! And those 'tattoos' you have, they mean that you owe me!! Hear that!! I own you!!! And now that my seal of the flute is gone I can do whatever want to you!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I can drive you mad if I want to!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I have saved your life three times now!!!! Every time something happens to you that threaten your life I heal you thought a mark that I place!!! Each mark of every time!!! That is how I own you!!! I hold your life in my hands every time you are at risk!!!! Oh you don't know the thrill I get from it!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!" I took a breath as I watched her go into another laughing fit. 'She a mad woman!! I have to do something!!'
