Chapter 28 -

The Red Flower of the Leaf is Back B*tches!!

Everything was black, I couldn't see a thing, or feel a thing for a matter of fact. I don’t know how to describe it, but it felt like I didn't exist. No sight, no smell, taste, sound or touch and no pain. I couldn't feel anything around or in me. I didn't know what to make sense of it.

'If I am dead, this is a pretty crappy heaven or hell.... Isn't hell supposed to be all flamey and evil like?' I stopped thinking after that. It felt peaceful a little... Not that I could really tell... I don’t know how long I stayed like that, but after a little while a faint smell somehow made it into my black world, a floral smell. After that, I began to be able to feel my body once again. I felt soooo HEAVY!!!! Unfortunately, along with re-aging the feeling in my body, I also re-gained my body's pain. I felt battered and bruised all over... And what was worse is that even thought I could feel my body, I couldn’t move anything, and my eyes were glue shut, so I looked like I was asleep, and I had a piece of hair over my face. It was bugging me to no end not being able to move it away. 'I MUST MOVE IT OR IT WILL DRIVE ME INSANE!!!! GAAAAAAA!!!!!' I willed one of my arms to move, but the most I got was a finger to twitch. I breathed heavily in defeat.

'Well I guess I can just go crazy here... Wait... Where am I...?” I could also feel something furry press up against my neck it felt warm and comforting, but not even that could stop me from going insane from the hair and not knowing where I am. Do you know how hard it is to figure out where you are with no sight, it's extremely hard. I strained my ears, listening to any sound to help, but all I could hear was a faint dripping noise and the sound of occasions feet walking a bit a ways, and the almost silent sound of a page turning, like someone was reading a book. My finger twitched again, but this time, most of my arm twitched too, and I was able to feel something attached to my arm move to. Dripping noise, walking feet, and something on my arm, and I am lying down after a series fight. It all sunk in. 'God damn it!! That Kakashi brought me to a hospital!!! That some of a -

"You know, you should really be resting, not having an internal yelling session. You face gets all squished up when you do." A bored voice said from the same direction as the person reading the book. I strained my eyes to open, succeeding, but no a really good idea to look straight at the light above you...

"Shit my eyes!! They burn!!!" I yelled out, hiding my face behind my arms. "GAAA!!! The pain!! THE PAIN!!!!!" I let go of my face and gripped my chest, where most of the pain was, rocking back and forth on the bed that I now knew was defiantly a hospital bed, and the furry thing need up being a sleeping Nala, who surprisingly, didn't wake you from my yelling.

"You really shouldn't do that either Harmony, you are just going to end up hurting yourself..." I looked over to where the voice was and saw Kakashi, leaning against the wall reading his orange book. I went back to holding chest. It felt like someone had poured oil right in that only spot and lit it on fire, letting it burn on the inside.

"W-What happened?" I said slowly... Wincing as my breath hurt my chest. Kakashi closed his book and walked over to one of the chairs by my bed and sat down in one of them.

"You are really lucky to be alive right now. I thought I told you to be careful. During your fight with Kabuto, he tried to kill you, a kunia through the heart, but luckily, all the jounins nearby tried to stop him and end the fight, but he already hit you. He missed your heart by centimetres." He said. I moved my hand my heart and felt a scar. "They tried to heal you up as best as they could, and they did a damn good job, but after the procedure, the area around your wound stared to go black, like someone spilt ink all over it. They didn't know what to do, so they left it and let you sleep." He said. I looked at him.

"What about all those cards... What happened to them...?” I asked him, dreading the answer. Kakashi closed his eyes.

"Durning your attacked, he threw them into the crowds, everyone got one. I am sorry Harmony..." He said slowly. I felt stunned. I stayed like that before I let out a small laugh, with a single tear rolling down my face. I wiped it away and moved Nala so she was on the pillow more.

"And now everyone knows that I have been lying to them since day one. They must all hate me... Hate me so much...." I looked down at my sheet and gripped a whole lot in my hands.

"Well I won’t say they all hate you. Someone else came by to visit when you were asleep." I looked at him, asking silently who. He moved his head towards the table on the other side of me. I looked and saw a jar of water with a single tiger lily in it. I found that ironic. "You have been out for a five whole days; Nala has been with you the whole time. She ran into the room when everyone came to help you. Scared the shit out of some people, being inn her huge form, standing on top of you. But since you have been the hospital she was been by your side talking to no one, she must have finally reached her limit now. Sakura came by once to check up on you and let that there, hoping that it will help you get better soon. Left a flower for Lee and Sasuke too." I whipped my head to him.

"Lee and Sasuke?! Are they all right!! Are they hur-" I bent over and went into a coughing fit, gasping for breath, pain raking my chest.

"They are both all right. Sasuke had to fight on of Kabuto's teammates, drained his charka, so his curse seal activated, but it's all right. As for Lee... Well Lee had to fight that kid from the sand, Gaara." By the sound of his voice, Lee's fight didn't go well.

"What happened to Lee?!" I asked him, letting go of my blankets. Kakashi sighed.

"That Gaara boy did something with the sand he had... He crushed Lee's whole right side... The doctors said he will make a full recovery, but he will never be able to be a shinobi again. Gai is devastated..." I pushed my blankets away, and moved so my legs were dangling and pulled out the creepy IV tube thingy out of my arm.

"The third test is in a month right?" Kakashi nodded his head. I pushed myself off the bed. I was a little shaky at first, but I stared to walk to the door, opening it. "Sorry, Fang, but I need you to leave now... I have some business to take care of... And I need to change.“ Kakashi stayed sitting in the chair but was looking at me with an arm slung on the chair, I thkn he knew that I really had no business at all, it was just go get him to leave. I pointed to the door. "Shoo. Be gone... Go... YOU ARE NOW BANISHED!!!!" I tried everything, I even pretend that I was holding a dog treat and treating him like a dog with it. Nothing worked.

"AHHH!!! Stupid baka dog thing! What do you want!???" I said to him as I walked back to my bed, hitting him in the head in the process. He must have thought my attempts to get him out were funny because he was trying to cover up his laugh with coughs.

"Oh... Ha-ha *coughs*... Nothing... I just want you to tell me what happened during the second exam before you make your great get away from the hospital and all..." He said to me. I looked at him before sighing and falling backwards onto my bed.

"Fine, I guess I should tell you now. Just a fair warning, you are going to think I am a retard or something after this from what I did in there." I sat back up and moved so I was leaning against the wall with Nala on my lap. I told Kakashi everything, the fight with Orochimaru, how he knew it was me, my back wound, Sasuke and Kabuto. I even told him about the time before we were an official team of squad 7 how I told Sasuke a littloe bit about me, and how I guess you could say he figurd it out some how with all my half truths.

Kakashi was silent for a little bit after that. I had spent so much time talking that the sun was now setting behind the mountains. I looked out the window. Not many people were out, and the ones that were, were going home.

"So... That everything." I said to him. Kakashi didn't reply. My door opened.

"I am sorry Kakashi-san, but you have to leave now, visiting hours are over." A nervous nurse said to Kakashi. Kakashi nodded to her, which made her go bright red and hurry out of the room. I felt something inside me twist when I saw him smile at the nurse, but I played it off like a joke. I smirked.

"Looks like someone has a crush on you Little Fang." I said in a sing-song voice, making Kakashi sigh and run a hand through his hair. "And it looks like that part never changed." I said in a quiet voice, unfortunately Kakashi heard my and stopped moving his hand.

"What has never changed?" He asked me, I quickly looked out the window again.

"I think you were told to leave stupid dog." I said to him, changing the subject.

"No, I think I will stay until you tell me what you mean." I kept my head turned. "Harmony.... If you don't tell me I will go out and find Gai or Lee and say that you will go on a date with them." I whipped around and glared at him.

"Don't. You. Dare. 1. Gai would be treated like a Pedo if you did. And 2. I think I have almost convinced Lee that Sakura is the girl for him... So don't you dare ruin my freedom.” I don’t know why, but my mouth was talking without my brain saying so, right after I got that felling I knew that I if I say anymore that I might say something that I might regret.

"I won't say anything to them if you tell me what you mean by what you said." I could tell that he was serious but also playing with me, and that made me mad, madder then I have ever been for a long time. You don’t play with a girl’s heart like that! I threw my hands up in the air.

"God Damn it Kakashi, stop acting like we are the same age!! I am freaking 13 still!!!! So stop acting like I'm not!!!!" I yelled at him. Kakashi bent his head in confusion.

"Don't huh me!!! You know exactly what you are doing?!!!! I AM NOT TWENTY SIX LIKE YOU!!! SO STOP PLAYING WITH ME!!!! You all ways did that!! Even as kids!! And all the time when every we were out, do you know how madding it was to me to have all the girls stare out you?!! And all the time you would ignore them or play it off, acting like I was the only girl that you could ever stand, but that's a lie, you loved all the attention!!! Even now!! It infuriates me!!!!! WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE SEEN HOW I FELT ABOUT YOU BEFORE ALL OF THIS SHIT HAPPENNED?!!!!!!" I slapped a hand over my mouth. I had never, ever planned on telling him that. I took one look at him before I smashed the window and ran out, leaving him in my hospital room, utterly confused. I ran with a hand clutching my chest. "Damn it Kakashi, why couldn't you see that when you were giving me all your attention, that I was the happiest I had ever been… But when you left, you took all my happiness with you." I didn't look back until I fully in the forest. I sat down on a tree branch. Lowered my chakra so no one would be able to find me. After a little bit I realized that I was still in my hospital gowned and my hair was down, And from head to toe I was covered with much, twigs, leaves and scratches. It was pitch black out and there was no moon in the sky to give any light.

"God, I am a mess. I can't even run away right. Isn't the girl supposed to be all elegant or something when she runs away after saying shit like that? I really am hopeless."

'You got that right.' I looked down to see Nala standing at the trees trunk. I hopped down.

"Nala? How did you find me?! I thought I lowered my chakra and everything?!" I said to her as I jumped down to her. She snorted. In my mind what I was really worried about was someone else coming with her. I did a quick scan for any chakra, but I could sense any. So Nala had come alone.

'Oh, so even after I went all this way just to bring you decent clothes all you can do is ask how I found you? Get real Harmony, I can tell you apart from any sent, no chakra needed.'

'Clothes...' I looked down at her paws and saw that there were my clothes, neatly folded and everything. I gentily picked them up. "Thank you Nala, I completely forgot about them." I smiled at her, which she responded with a growl. I, to say the least, was surprised.

'Don't treat me like a fool Harmony! I know what happened, so don't act like you can take it all upon yourself!" Nala looked down at the ground, and spoke in a sadder tone. 'Don't you trust me...? Didn't you say that we are now family...'

I realized how much I had hurt her by running away and leaving her there. I kneeled down and wraped my arms around her giant neck. "I'm sorry Nala, I shouldn't have done that. You're right, we are family, and family never leaves the other behind. I am sorry." I said to her as I hugged her, she purred in response. I released her and picked up my clothed once again.

"I don't know about you Nala, but I kinda want to get out of these hospital clothes, wait, you don’t wear clothes... So I guess I do know... How about tomorrow I show you amazing place where we can have a bath?" Nala's eyes sparkled, making me laugh. "I'll take that as a yes! Come on, let’s get going before any on else starts popping out of nowhere."

-----Next Morning. -----------

"It looks exactly like it used to!! Thank god!! And no one is here!" Nala and I walked up to a little creak with a waterfall. I use to all ways come here whenever I was sleeping our door to... well... have a bath. Last night after Nala and I settled down, I told her about this spot and she ran back to the village to go and get me a bathing suit. It was a green bikini with yellow shorts, simple, nothing exciting about it. I picked up my hair and rolled into a bun, taking one of my frozen senbons and holding it in place. Since I was in the hospital, they took away my hair elastic, so this was the only way to kept it out of my face for now. I moved closer to the edge and dip a foot into the water. It was perfect!!!!! I steed into it fully, relaxing. Nala came in after me. I was surprised last night how willing she was to come here, but then again, she is weird feline, so I shrug it off. I floated on my back to look up at the sky. A song popped into my head. I decieded to sing it.

Get me out of this place, before I cause more damage,

As I was floating in the water I thought about my scar. Like Kakashi was telling me, after the procedure, it looked like ink was splatted all over it, but now it had a shape. It reminded me of my clan's symbol, because that's exactly how those two starts are placed around the moon. It was in plain view with this swim suit on.

"I wonder how everyone one is doing. I forgot to ask Kakashi last night who won their matches." I thought out loud. Nala was too busy soaking up some sun to respond. I sighed and walked over to the waterfall, letting my hand skim it gentily. So now I had two 'Tattoos'. I felt like a rebel.

"COME ON PERVY SAGE!!!! YOU SAID YOU WILL TRAIN ME!!!!!" I quickly stood up in shock. That sounded like Naruto, and it sounded like he was close. I hid behind the waterfall.

"Oh come-on kid! I just found the perfect thing to research, a smoking hot red head with an angel voice!!!! Now look what you did!!! She's gone!!!!!" That voice sounded familiar too, but I couldn't place it. Like a distant memory. I quickly walked away from the waterfall to towards those two voices.

"IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU ARE A SUPER PERV!!!!" Naruto yelled. I stopped walking. A perv, research, red head... OH HELL NO!!! NO WAY IS SOME PERVING ON MY WHILE I'M DRESSED LIKE THIS!!!! I stormed over to were Naruto and 'Pervy Sage' where. The moment I saw a bush of white spiky hair I ran over and 'ninja' kicked him right in the face.

"Now who were you researching on? Old perv?!" I said as I held up a fist. Nala came up beside me. Dripping wet in a bikini, stray hairs, my back tattoo and my newest on in plain view, and a giant cat standing next to me. "Do you have anything you would like to say to me? Maybe an apology for spying on a 13-year-old girl? Disgusting." I growled at him. The old perv uncovered him face, looking at me for the first time. We stared at each other for a little bit.

"Harmony?" He said in a whisper, I nodded. A single name was on my lips.
