Chapter 27 -

Well... That's not how I planned that to go...

"Remember, tell anyone, and I will make you regret it Uchiha." I said under my breath to Sasuke as we were walking around the corner.

"And you remember, I will find out what you are hiding, Harmony." He said back to me. I sighed and closed my eyes. 'He is never going to give up, even if it is the smartest thing to do... Sometimes he is exactly like Naruto...' We rounded the corner to were Sakura and Naruto were supposed to be, except there was one extra person there, Kabuto. I blink, and then pinch my arm. Yeah, I am not in some crazy nightmare.

"Uh, Naruto, Sakura... “I said to them to catch their attention. The moment they turned their heads, they each gained a new lump on the top of them from my fist. "WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!!! DIDN'T I SAY NOT TO DO ANYTHING STUPID!! THIS GUY COULD HAVE KILLED YOU!!! WH ARE YOU SUCH IDIOTS?!!!!" I yelled at them. Naruto and Sakura coward behind a rock.

"O-Oh, Hey, Sh-Sh-Shumze..." Naruto shuttered. I hit him on the head aging, not as hard as before though.

"Don't 'Hey Shuzme' me. Why, Is. Kabuto. Here?" I felt someone tap my shoulder. It was Kabuto.

"Well, you see, I can explain th-" When Kabuto was talking I whirled around and punched him straight in the face, sending him back a couple feet.

"Personal space. Don't come into my bubble.” That was an excuse; I just really wanted to hit the rat.

"Shuzme-san!!! Why did you punch Kabuto-san?!!" Sakura said as she ran over to help him. I shrugged.

"He was in my bubble, so I got him out of the bubble. Now, Naruto, way is he here?!" I asked Naruto again. Naruto was just about to answer when Kabuto spoke up again.

"Like I was saying before, I can answer that. You see, Naruto and Sakura here were about to open their scroll here. And by the looks of you, this isn’t your fist time here, so you should know what happens when I scroll is open. By the way, my name is Kabuto, and I am guessing that you are Shuzme-chan?" Kabuto said. An irk mark appeared on my head. I turned and walked straight up to Kabuto, my face hidden by my hair.

"Kabuto, word of advice. Don't. Call. Me. Shuzme. CHAN!!!" At the very end I punch him once again, sending him into a tree. I then straighter my hair. "And yes my name is Shuzme, and my teammates, who are not here right now, are Raion and Chita. By the way Kabuto, what are you doing all the way out here alone?" I asked him. He slowly stood up again.

"It's not like I'm after your scroll..." He said as he stood up.

"WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!!! WHY IS THE RAT HERE?!!!!" We all looked and saw Raion running out of the forest, then saw her punch Kabuto straight in the jaw, sending him even father then I did. I whistled.

"Wow, good punch Raion, went ever father than mine. Hey, did you guys catch anything? Here's your fish Raion” I threw Raion the fish, which she gladly caught, and then Chita walked up beside her and held up an animal by its hind legs.

"Yeah, a wild boar. Not really big but enough to last a day or two." She said as she sat down and tied to some sticks to cook it. Raion follow her and sat down, eating her fish raw.

"Ow.... What's with your team and punching people..?" Kabuto complained as he stood up. I crossed my arms.

"We just have a very good instinct, and like Raion said, you look like a rat, and in my opinion, you also smell like a snake. All in all, you look like bad news." I said to him before I too also sat down. Kabuto then started to talk to the team about how is has both his scrolls and that his team is waiting for him. He was just about to leave when Sasuke challenged him to a fight.

"You know Sasuke, if you really wanted his scrolls, you would have just attacked him, rather than challenged him. Hell, you would have done the same to us, but no once since we have been taking this test with you have you ask if we had any scrolls." I said to him.

"Shuzme-san, you mean all this time you have had scrolls?" I heard Sakura ask. Chita passed them to me and I held them up.

"Yup, well at the beginning we had four, but we lost two but luckily, we still have these baby’s." I said before I put them away in my weapon pouch.

"How about his, I'll tell you the path you should all take to get to the tower, but we will have to split up, a group of seven is too large to travel in. " Kabuto said. I stood up and streched.

"I get it, I get it. We'll stay behind because Kabuto here is to afraid that he will get punch again. You guys go ahead. We'll be okay." I said to them. Naruto ran up to me.

"What do you you'll stay behind?! You can't just leave us!! Not just like that!!!"" He said as he grabbed my arm.

"You know we aren’t even on the same teams, and you now have Kabuto to help you guys get the scroll. What have we done, help you guys in a fight, but one of us always gets hurt in some way." I said to him as I slowly pilled him off my arm.

"It doesn't matter that you aren't in our team. You are our friend, all of you!!" Naruto said to me. Sakura ran up beside him.

"Yeah, and besides, if you guys weren't there during the fight, I know for sure that something worse would have happened. Please stay with us Shuzme-san!! Please!!" She said as she to gripped my arm. I looked to Raion for help, but she just sighed and went back to her fish.

"Idiots. She is injured, so she will just slow us down. Like Kabuto said, a group of seven is too big. And look at her; she is dead on her feet." Sasuke said. I gave Sasuke an evil look. Naruto and Sakura didn't need to know that I was still hurt, let alone completely exhausted. Naruto let go of my arm.

"Shuzme, is he right, that you are hurt?" Naruto asked me. I looked down at me, and then smiled.

"Oh it's nothing major, I just hurt my back a little bit ago and it is having trouble healing, nothing big, and definitely nothing for you guys to worry about." I could feel Sakura to letting go of me, but she walk around me to look at my back, Naruto to. One of them, I am guessing Naruto placed a hand on it gentily. I winced the moment he touched. Naruto ran around and look me in the face.

"That is not something not major Shuzme!! If it hurts that much just touching something, you should have told us!!!" He yelled at me. I looked down at him, and then to Kabuto. 'He is safer with him, even if I don't like it, but Orochimaru might come back, and I don’t want anything to happen to any of them, not again. But knowing Naruto, he won't leave us and go, not unless I make him, make him hate me. I put a hand on his shoulder, but then pushed him toward Kabuto. Sakura too and threw a kunia at their feet. I felt sick just thinking about what I am going to do, but I have to. 'Nala, we have to go... Get ready to run...'

All of you are such idiots!! I can’t believe you three fell for the oldest trick in the book. Trusting someone because they say a few sweet words and do a couple nice things for you. What a joke, can you get any stupider?!" Naruto, Sakura and Kabuto's faces we bewilder, and Sasuke just stood there. I scoffed at them. "But by the look on your faces, I take that as a yes. I can't believe you; you guys ate out of our palms. Tell me, did Harmony EVER tell you guys about us, how we are such good friends, and how she will do anything to protect you? No she didn't, because she doesn't even know about us!! And Sakura, what I told you before is a lie, 100% untrue, who in their right mind would believe such crap. Now here is what is going to happen. I am going to take your scroll and you are not going to fight back." I slowly pulled out some more kunias. Internally, I was breaking down when I saw the look of pure anger and betrayal on Naruto's face, my own brother, but I had too. All of this was to protect him and this team.

"I won't let you do that Shuzme." Naruto growled at me. I faked a smirk.

"And what is a no-talent Hokage wannabi going to do? Do some practical jokes?" I asked him. He held up his hands and made a hand sign.

"No, this! Shadow clone jutsu!!!" Five new Naruto appeared beside him. "Now what do you think we are going to do?" They all said at the same time. I held up my own hands.

"Oh, I still think you are going to do some practical jokes. Shadow clone jutsu!" Five of me pop up. We all placed our hands on our hips. “Don’t think you are the only one that can do that jutsu." We all ran, three of them went to Sasuke, Sakura and Kabuto, swiftly knocking them down and pinning they while one of my clones and I ran at Naruto. I pulled out a kunia. My clone ran in front of me and crashed into Naruto, knocking him to the ground also, and the pinned him so he couldn't move. I walked up beside him and held the kunia to his throat. He spat in my face when I lowered it.

"I trusted you!! How could you do this!! I thought you were my friend." He yelled at me. I didn't look into his eyes as I pulled the earth scroll out of his hands. The moment I did he got the same hand free and punched me in the face. I smiled softly but then changes it to a sadist one, holding the kunia closer to his face and gave him a light scratch on his cheek.

"Good punch kid. Just remember this, my team is my family, and I will do anything to protect that. Stay safe and don't get killed, I'll see you at the tower." I whisper that part to him, so no one heard it but Naruto. His eyes widened. I dropped the kunia I used beside him and stood up, walking back to Raion and Chita. They both stood up as I pack Naruto earth scroll to were our heaven scroll was.

"We should go now before they break free." Chita said. Raion and I nodded before we ran into the trees. The moment we ran into the forest I jumped onto a high tree branch and looked down at the team, releasing my jutus. They all look so anger and surprised and betrayed. I couldn't hear them, but I know that they were talking about me... I watch Naruto slowly sit up and put a hand to his new cut and looked down at the kunia before slowly picking it up to look at it. I did a quick hand sign and the kunia he was holding changed into the Earth scroll I left behind, along with a note.

Promise me you will get to the tower safely, Future Hokage Naruto Uzumaki. -Shuzme, Raion, Chita.

Naruto smiled as he read the note before he jumped up and ran toward everyone, showing them the new scroll and the note.

"You know, we could have just run for it, you didn't have to put on a show." Raion said as she watched everyone from beside me.

"No, I had to, or else they would try and come after me. I don't want them to be around me, not with that damn snake around." I stood up. "Come on, we should go now if we want to make it to the tower before nightfall." Raion and Chita stood up.

"Cancel the jutus first Harmony, you are wasting too much chakra, and if this goes on, you might not even be able to make it to the tower." Raion said to me. I shook my head.

"No, I can't. I can’t let anyone see us in our real form, besides, I think I just might have enough chakra to last, but I will need to sleep the moment I get there." I said before I took off, leaving no room for argument. I heard Raion and Chita beside me as we jumped through the trees. 'A real bed, here I come!!!'

"How. Freaking. Far. Is. That. TOWER?!!!" Raion yelled at the moon as we wandered around in the forest. We had been running for a while without any problems, just a few small fry’s that Raion easily put into a genjutsu, so they wouldn't bother us. We look around and I saw a giant centipede on a tree with a kunia in its head. I looked at it closer. Something was off.

"Hey Raion, does something seem off about that centipede?" I asked as I walked closer to it. Raion and Chita followed. Chita was the first one to figure out. To form a release hand sign.

"A genjutsu, that's why the tower doesn't seem to be getting any closer." She said after she realised us. Well now I just felt stupid, being out smarted by my own shadow clone. I looked back to the tower.

"Let's get going, I don’t know about you guys, well maybe you Chita seeing that you are me, but I really want to get out of here..."

"I don’t know, I kinda like it out here..." Raion said, I gave her a blank look. She held up her hands. "I was just joking, I mean, the fish here is terrible!! Let's go." We all than stared to run toward the tower once again, but this time we actually made it.

"FINALLY!!!" We all yelled at the same time before we opened the door into a room with a giant scroll on the wall. I took out both of the scrolls and opened them, before throwing a little ways away. They stated to smoke and them Kakashi appeared out of them.

"Yo! What took you so long Harmony." Kakashi said with a closed I smile. I didn't answer him, I just collapsed onto the floor. The moment I hit the floor all of my jutsu’s broke, so Nala and I were back into our regular form. I sat on my knees panting, on hand on the floor to steady me and the other wrapped around my, barley touching my back. Kakashi ran up to me. I stared to cough when he got closer, so I cover my mouth with my hand. I felt something wet. I look down and say it was covered lightly with blood. I was shocked. I knew that when I cancelled my shadow clone that everything that happen to it would go to me, but I didn’t think that its exhaustion would be enough to affect me this much, even with all my injuries. I quickly covered my hand, but Kakashi had already seen it.

"We need to get you to the hospital, now." He said as he tried to pick me up off the ground. I tried to push out of his hold.

" No, I am all right, I just need to rest a little." I said to him, but he wasn't listening to me. He moved the hand that was supporting my back, making me wince a little. I looked at it and saw that it too was red from blood.

"Harmony, what happened in the forest." Kakashi asked me as he looked at his hand.

"It was nothing. And I don't need to go to the hospital, just some rest!" I said to him. Before gating my strength and pushed myself away from him, barley landing on my feet when I landed. I took a few steps away from him, right below the giant scroll on the wall. Kakashi had a surprised look on his, but then it was mad.

"Look Harmony, you can barely walk from exhaustion and blood loss... It's not safe for you to be going anywhere but the hospital!" He said to me. I shook my head and placed my bloody hand on the wall, leaving a red hand print.

"Kakashi, I am fine! Look at the scroll. Remember when we took this exam together. Out of everyone, Obito was the only one that had really got hurt, and do you remember what he said. He said 'I messed by, I was only using the earth, my body, to finish this exam, but not the heaven, my mind with it, so I am paying the price, and I happily pay for it if it makes me a better shinobi.' I messed up in this exam, so I am too paying the price, so please, let me pay for it in my own way. And you know how I hate hospitals." I plead with him. He face soften a little and he closed his eye and ran a hand through his hair.

"You all ways knew exactly want to say for me to let you do your thing, even if I was doing the best for you. Fine, no hospital.." I grinned. "But, you have to tell me how you got hurt so much in four days." He said to me. My face fell.

"How about I tell you later, I am really tired, and a little rest will do me some good." I turned around so by back was facing him. Nala jumped onto one of my shoulders.

"Harmony." He said with a warning tone. I lifted one of my hands and gave a lazy wave to him.

"' 'Nigh Fang. Oh and tell Gramps that the genin this year are strong, but not a whole lot of them have the potential to be a chuunin yet.' I then walked away.

" 'Night Harmony, don’t let the nightmares catch up to you." I barley caught what Kakashi said. I wearily walked down the hall until I found the doors that had separate room for teams. I walked into the room, closing the door behind me and sat down on the bed, stripping off my now bloody shirts and bandages. I looked and was a cabinet beside of the bed full of medical equipment. I pulled out a fresh roll of bandages, wrapped my back and threw my old ones in the trash. I walked up to the bathroom that was joined on and threw my shirts into the sink full of water, letting the blood steep out. When they were blood free I took them up and hung them out, letting them dry, then I layed on the bed on my stomach. Nala joined me.

"Hey Nala, do you think I should quit being a ninja and taking up a career in acting?"

'Why?'

"Well, I think I did pretty good job acting like a baddie in front of everyone, plus, I even convinced the rule enforcing Kakashi Hatake."

'No, I don’t think you should, you are too good of a ninja to quit...' I sighed and scratched my head.

"Yeah, I guess your right... Besides, I wouldn't last two days without all my ninja tool and doing some jutus..." I said to her before we stopped talking for a few minutes. Nala was the one to break the silence.

'You should have told him you know." She said as she layed down beside me. I scratched under her chin.

"I know, but I couldn't. I couldn’t tell him about HIM being back, about Sasuke curse mark, about the Foxes appeared again, and how I told Sakura a little about me, how Sasuke found out, and how, even after 15 years after seeing him leave, he still knows how I am, and that he will soon be after me... I know I should have told him all that stuff, but I couldn't, not now at least..."

'You are always saying something like that. I can't tell them, it's not safe, I will tell everyone soon. When will you realize that even if you don’t want to tell someone something, and think that you are protecting them, you might just be hurting them by not telling them, because they will figure it out some way or another...' I didn't reply. I just layed my head in the pillow. 'Sorry if that was in senseless of me Harmony, but you know that it is true...'

"I know. I know I needed to hear it. Come on, let's go to sleep. I don’t know about you, but I really need some shut eye." I said to her. She gave me a cat smile.

'Oh thank god, I thought I was never going to be able to sleep, move over.' She snuggled right up against me, her head covered a little by arm. I slimed down at her. 'Goodnight Nala...'

'Goodnight Harmony. And remember, if the nightmares catch you, I am here to fight them off with you.' After Nala said that, fell asleep with a smile on my face. The only thing I remembered in the morning from my dreams was the smell of flowers.
