Hey there all my gakuseis! ... and people who are reading my story but aren't gakuseis...

So here is the last chapter with Zabuza in it, sad I know. I spent what, 10 chapters or something on this one arc, I really am a fail... -_-' Oh well.

Chapter 21-

Snowflake tears

"You better get ready Zabuza, 'cuz here comes round three." I swiftly pulled out some more kunia and got ready to fight. I was just about to take a step before Zabuza started laughing.

"Hehe... hehehe...Haku, do you realize? At this rate we'll be driven back." Zabuza said to Haku.

"Yeah... We can't have that." Haku said. You could litterly feel his chakra spike as he said that. Haku than form a hand sign and all the water around Sasuke began to rise and freeze around him. “Special Jutsu. Demonic Ice Mirrors."

Sasuke was now trapped what looked like a house of frozen mirrors, but Sasuke wasn't the one frozen by it, I was. I stood there, wide eyed and watched Haku walk into one of the mirrors, and the rest of the mirrors showed a reflection of him. 'Shit! How does he know that jutsu?! Only members of the Yuki clan has can do that! I got to get him out of there, or he could die!'

"Damn it! Sasuke get out of there!" I yelled as I ran towards the ice cage that Sasuke was in. I was about half way there before Zabuza cut me off

"Hey, your opponent... is me!" Zabuza said to me. I lifted my kunia once again. "Against that jutsu, he's finished." I glared at Zabuza, thinking of ways to beat him. 'Come on girl! This is the third time you've battled him, you must know something!' But I was drawing a blank; all I could think about was how to get Sasuke out of there,

"AHHH!" Sasuke yelled of inside the ice cage.

"Sasuke!!" I yelled out. I tried once one to run to him, but Zabuza cut me off again.

"If you get by me, I'll kill those behind you." I glared him once more.

"Damn you Zabuza, you really are a demon." I spat at his face. Zabuza growled at him and wiped it off, but did nothing else. We just stood there, and listen to Sasuke scream. Once or twice I heard, Sakura yell out to Sasuke, but nothing she did helped, not even the kunia that she threw at Haku, he merely caught it. 'Think Harmony think! If you find out a way to get past him, even if he runs to Tazuna and Sakura, Kakashi's there! He could battle Zabuza and I could get Sasuke out before it's too late!' I smiled at my plan, knowing that it could work. I readied my feet to run, but made it look like I was steading myself for an attack. 'And...N-'

A huge burst of smoke came out of no were, interrupting me from running to the cage.

What in the hell?!" I said to no one, clearly confused. 'Who in the right mind would do such a thing?!'

“Naruto Uzumaki!! Has finally arrived!!" I face palmed. 'He would.' I looked over to the ice dome when the smoke cleared and say that Haku was lying on the ground with a cut in his mask. 'Naruto! He must have thrown a shuriken and hit Haku when he was in the smoke!'

"Now that I'm here, everything will be fine!! The main character of the story usually shows up in these types of situations and instantly kicks the enemy's ass!!" Naruto yelled as he ran out of the cloud of smoke. I face palmed again. 'And there you go, running everything again, what kind of loud entrance is that? And he calls himself a ninja! I love you and all Naruto, but you're such an idiot!'

"Damn!!" Zabuza yelled as he threw some shuriken at Naruto. 'Double Shit!'

"Naruto! Get out of there!!" I yelled at him, hoping he would run, but all he did was pulling out his own kunia. I must not have been paying attention because one moment the shuriken were whizzing toward my brother and the next they were laying on the ground with a senbons needles beside each and every one.

“Haku? What is this?" I heard Zabuza say to his partner.

"Zabuza-san... These kids... Please, let me fight them my way." Haku said back.

"So you don't want me to interfere, Haku? You're as soft as always..." Zabuza said before turning back to face me. Ready to fight. I turned my body away from the dome to face him to.

"Get ready, Zabuza." I growled at him.

"Hey!! I came to get you out!!" 'That sounded like Naruto!!' I looked to where He used to be, but he wasn't there. I wasn't paying attention to Zabuza until I felt the air move around me, making me jump back a couple feet, narrowly dodging his massive sword.

"YOU MORON!! IF YOU'RE A SHINOBI THAN USE YOUR HEAD!! WHY DID YOU COM INSIDE THE MIRRORS?!! DAMN IT!! I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!! YOU'RE AN IDIOIT!!" Sasuke yelled from inside the dome.

"WHAT YOU SAY?!! I COME TO SAVE YOU AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?!!" Naruto yelled back. 'That's Naruto, comes to help, but ends up making it worse... If I go to them, I would have to tell Kakashi to have my back and go after Zabuza to protect Tazuna, but then Zabuza would know, and just go straight after me... But I can't just leave them, and if Kakashi goes, Zabuza or Haku would take care of it and stop me... If I use a shadow clone, he'll just match it with his water clone, and I'll just waste chakra.' I heard and felt the heat from Sasuke's fireball that he just made, most likely to try and melt the ice, but that wouldn't be working anytime soon. Both Naruto and Sasuke cried out in pain after that, making me clench my jaw. I couldn't think of anything, but I have to save them! They’re my team, and Naruto is my brother! I can't let anything happen to them. I could hear Naruto yells in frustration as he tried to attack, but failed, because soon after, only he was crying out! I could wait anymore; I took off to the dome.

"Kakashi! Take care of Zabuza! I'm going in!" I yelled as I ran. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Zabuza running after me, but being stopped by Kakashi. I mentally thanked him, and ran into the dome. It seemed to be talking about defending their dreams. I snuck in hopefully without being noticed by the three.

"Me, for my dream. And for your dreams. Please don't hate me. I want to protect someone precious to me. To work for that person. To fight for that person. To make that person's dreams come true. That is my dream. For that, I can become a shinobi. I can kill you."

"Unfortunately for you. I too have a dream to protect someone, well more like a rule and saying I have." I said as I ran in front of Sasuke and Naruto, well Naruto mostly. They both called out my name, kind of. Naruto called out my name and told me to get out, and Sasuke did nothing. I took a quick look at the two behind me than looked back at Haku. "I don't let anybody hurt my family, ever." I was now glaring at the Haku image in front of me. "So I guess we have to go and see who will protect their precious someone? Shall we?"

The Hakus in the mirrors all raised their senbons. I quickly did some handsigns.

"Naruto, Sasuke, I would cover your ears if I was you." I told them before Haku threw all of his senbons.

"Sound Release: Scream of Despair" I yelled out before I let out a terrifying scream. I when I was finished, all the senbons he threw were laying on the ground. Not a single one had hit us. I wiped my mouth.

"Heh, now you can't throw those blasted senbons again or I'll just to that again." I said to him, hoping he would buy the bluff

"Impressive. Sound Release: Scream of Despair, a jutsu that let out a scream so fast that it can deflect projectiles, but it also can hurt ones throat, making the user have to recuperate before using it again. But you’re going to need to do a lot more than that to stop me." Haku said to me. I glared at him, knowing he was right. My throat now hurt, so if I tried that attack too soon, it could tear my throat apart. 'Damn it. I can't even use the smaller version of that attack again, let alone the improved version!' I put away the regular kunias and crossed my arms around my chest in an X. The wind around us was already whirling around slightly, and gaining speed fast, and a soft hum was slowing getting louder.

"I was really hoping I wasn't going to have to do this, but it seems like I am going to have to try. Let see how your ice mirrors stand up to another ice attack! Razor Ice!" I uncrossed my arms and sent a crescent shape piece of ice at the mirrors. The moment it hit one it did exactly what I hope it wouldn't do, it shattered. I looked at the mirror and saw not a single scratch. In my head I was losing hope, for that was one of my best attacks, and it could usually kill someone! But on the outside I kept a poker face on.

"That's not going to work against me; I already told the other two that." Haku said as he was getting ready for more senbons. I noticed that Naruto and Sasuke were now standing beside me. I whirled around to face them and pushed them back to the ground, right as Haku let out another volley of senbons, each and every one hitting me. I fell to my knees in pain and bit my lip, not letting a cry of pain out.

"Harmony!!" Naruto and Sasuke both cried out and tried to get up. I pushed them back down and stood up, pushing a stray hair that fell out of my ponytail back.

"Both of you just stay down and let me deal with him. Like I said, I don't let anybody hurt my family, so I'm not letting a single senbon hit anybody else but me." I took out my flute and played a simple piece. The wind around the two of them started to move faster and faster, and formed a sphere around them. I gave them both a small smile and then turned around, and just in time for another attack from Haku.

'I will stay strong! I will not lose!' I kept chanting that in my head as Haku threw volley after volley at me. I could tell that he was aiming for me now. 'Good, at least Naruto and Sasuke won't get hurt now...'

I must have looked like a wreck with these damn senbons sticking out of my like a pin cushion and covered in my own blood. I could feel the wind behind me slowing down, meaning that my shield will break soon, which means that I don't have a lot of chakra left, and energy, damn.

"Hey Naruto!" I called out to him behind me. "Sorry, but the my shield isn't going to last long, so let’s make a deal, we both get out of this, I'll buy you some of that ramen your all ways talking about. Deal?" I didn't wait for him to answer, because my jutsu broke and now they were both not protected. I threw myself to cover them one more time, cringing in pain as more senbons stuck into my body. I looked down at Naruto and wiped some blood off of my mouth with the back of my hand. "Deal?" Naruto nodded his head. I sighed and stood up, with much difficulty. And walked to the center, feeling that Sasuke and Naruto were now joining me. I felt as if I could barely stand up. I looked down at my legs and saw that two new senbons were sticking out of my legs, right where some major nerves are. 'Clever, he's trying to make sure that I can't move and help the other two.'

"Sorry, I was hoping that I would beat this guy, but as it turns out, I am running out of energy and chakra, and my legs aren't responding the best right now, so I won't be much help." I said with a sad smile to the two of them, they both looked at me a nodded their heads. 'Hope I have enough stamina for this... And mental control...' I stood up and speed my legs and raised my arms, palms facing out.

"Naruto, Sasuke, when this is done, don't you two dare wake me but unless you want me to kill both of you. Dansu Hana: Third Dance of the Winds!' You could hear and feel the wind swirl around me. I could tell that Haku was going to throw his senbons, and now that Naruto and Sasuke are free, for more critical spots. So all that means is that I am just going to be faster and work harder to protect them somewhat. I ran to stand in-between the two, ready to take more hits, even in my weaken state already.

For a while all we seemed to do was dodge our best, but still all ways get hit, mostly Naruto, even thought I was protecting him a little more. Right now Naruto was lying on the ground looking like a porcupine, Sasuke had a kneeling on the ground and I was standing barley beside Naruto, already feeling the effects of using the third dance. I looked over and saw that Sasuke was looking at the two of us, I gave him a slight nodded, signaling to him that we were okay. With that Sasuke stood up and stared at one of the Hakus in the mirrors.

"You... Move well. I would expect that out of the girl, seeing that she is the lone member of the Kakureta Merodi clan, but this time I'll stop both of you." Haku said to Sasuke. I looked at Sasuke and saw that he was trying to calm himself down. I looked back at Haku. He was about to throw the next senbons.

"Who are you going for no-"I was cut off by Sasuke grabbing Naruto and pushing me to the ground, getting us both out of Haku's senbons ways. I looked at Sasuke. 'H-How could he have seen those, I didn't even! If he saw those, that only means-’ I saw Sasuke look up at Haku, his eyes now blood red with a few black comas in each. 'Sharingan!'

"I see... You are also from advanced blood line... “ Haku said. I could tell that he was thinking, because he was still for a little bit, than he pulled out as many senbons he could hold in one go. 'With that amount of senbons...He's going to try and kill one of us!' I looked at both Sasuke and Naruto, taking in their damage, and then I did a double take. 'Naruto!!'

“Damn it Naruto… if you die on me…than I will kill you…” I said to the boy behind me and a wiped some blood off of my mouth. I could feel the blood I just wiped off be replaced with some new blood dripping down my face. I didn’t even feel the pain right now, I was numb.

“Uh….” I heard Naruto as he was regaining conscious.

“Geez… Sasuke said to Naruto when he was finally awake, and must have seen Haku on the ground.

“Sasuke!! You!!” Naruto was probably going to say that He beat him, but then he got a good look around because he was quiet. This is what he must have seen, Sasuke and I standing in between Haku and him, full of those damn senbons, a whole lot of ripped clothes, and me, with a lot of stray hair out of my ponytail, and blood on us, dripping off of us, and blood on the ground all around us. I would have looked at Sasuke and see how hurt he was, but I kept my sight on Haku in case he got up for another attack.

“What’s with the face…? You… look like a moron…” Sasuke said to Naruto.

“Why?” Naruto said quietly to Sasuke.

“How… how should I know…? I hated you…” Sasuke said to Naruto.

“But…But... Why? Why me?” Naruto said quietly. “I never asked for your help!!” Naruto yelled at us, well mostly Sasuke, but still.

“I don’t know… My body moved on its own… Idiot…” Sasuke said before he fell backward and Naruto caught him. I could feel my legs start shaking, and that they were soon going to buckle beneath me.

“Naruto, I know you didn’t ask for our help, and I am sorry for protecting you if that’s what you didn’t want, but I could help it. I had to protect you, like I said before, I protect my family. I understand it if you don’t get it, but realize this, I would do anything to keep you, and the rest of this team safe.” I turned my head and looked at him and gave him a small closed eye smile. “I mean, that’s what family does, isn’t it?” When I was finished talking, like I predicted, my legs buckled and I fell face first to the floor. All I wanted to do was sleep right now, and get rid of the numbness and pain, but I know that I can’t do that. ‘Just keep your eyes open, and don’t go to sleep, Naruto may still need you, and you have to be there for him.’ I could barely hear Naruto and Sasuke talking, so I concentrated on trying to stand back up, but my body wasn’t moving. I was just able to move my head so it was on its side.

“He landed a blow on me, and he, along with the girl, without filching… died to protect you.” Haku said as he stood up. “To protect a precious person, knowing it was a trap, they were still willing to jump in. They are shinobi that deserves respect. Is this your first time seeing someone die? This is the way of the shinobi…” All I wanted to do is run up and punch Haku and run to Naruto and comfort him, or at least tell him that I am not dead, but it seems that I body didn’t want to do any of that, it just wanted to rest. I didn’t want to sleep, but my eyes wanted to close so badly. I could feel I was losing the battle with them as they slowly closed.

“Shut up.” My eyes opened a little when Naruto said that. I couldn’t see Naruto, but I could tell in his voice that something wasn’t wrong… It didn’t exactly sound like Naruto.

“I’ll Kill You!!” Naruto growled. Now that was not Naruto! I willed my body to move, at least a little, but I couldn’t move still. All of a sudden an enormous chakra came out of no were. You could feel the blood thirst in it, and the ice shattering as it touched it. ‘This chakra!! Damn it!!! You stupide fox!!! Leave him alone!!’ I screamed in my mind, recognizing the evil chakra in the air. I looked up and saw what I would never want to see. In the air, high above Naruto was the Nine-tail fox’s head formed out of pure chakra. Suddenly a blur rushed past me, going straight for Haku. Haku started to battle the strange blur, until it let out a terrifying roar. I moved my head a little, not much, and was able to see that the blur was Naruto. His hair had gone crazy and spike out more than it did before, and his small whiskers have now spread out, covering most of his cheek now. I could tell that his slight change was because of the fox. ‘No… No… No!!! Leave him ALONE!!’ I saw Haku come flying down to attack him, and Naruto dodge in by rolling in the air and over my body.
