《Back to You | ✓》Bonus Chapter - Fight Night

Usually being all dressed up, with hair done, makeup on and in heels would mean a night out going clubbing or dinner at a fancy restaurant for Mia.

It definitely did not equal to spending her evening at a boxing match.

Ever since she had gotten married to Sebastian, it meant a lot of changes in her life, the most prominent one included sports.

With her Dad and her brother already quite into a lot of sports, it meant that she was always exposed to the subject, but now because of her husband it meant it was nearly taking over her life.

It was why she now found herself at a boxing match, with a seat reserved front and centre of the ring.

Tonight, Sebastian was participating in a boxing match for charity.

It was a new idea that Sebastian had come up with since taking over the company to boost morale at the place, and also to do something noble at the same time.

He'd spoken to the head of Novelle, another big company, similar to Carter, and pitched this idea to them. They instantly agreed to it, loving the idea, and the match was given the go-ahead.

All proceeds from the night were going to three different charities, and both Carter and Novelle would double the amount made and donate that as well.

"Mia! Over here!", she heard her name being called in the crowd of people who had already found themselves surrounding the bar.

Mia quickly spotted Diana calling her over, and made her way towards her.

"Hey Diana" Mia quickly hugged her, and once they moved away, she looked down at Diana's outfit and was in awe. "You look stunning" she told her.

Diana was in a gorgeous lilac dress, with thin spaghetti straps, shimmering under the lights. It wasn't all too surprising that she was getting double-takes from people, who were also in a daze looking at her.

"I know" Diana playfully winked at her, and then gestured towards Mia's form. "You look so gorgeous, I hope Seb doesn't get distracted" she joked.

Mia had dressed in a navy-blue, midi dress. It has a slightly deep-cut neckline, and quite a slim fit, with thin straps at the shoulders.

Since Sebastian was going to be wearing navy blue shorts, Mia thought it'd be nice to match him.

"I really hope not" Mia said, letting out a nervous chuckle. The last thing she wanted to be was a distraction, but since the dress-code had specifically stated to dress to impress, Mia ran with it.

Her eyes then looked around. "Where are the boys?" She asked.

"Already with Seb in the changing rooms, probably egging him on, getting him all pumped up" Diana said, adding a laugh at the end.

Diana's father was a trainer at a gym, and so she was incredibly used to this boxing life, her second home was basically the gym. She'd come to the gym after school, and do her homework there.

She convinced her Dad to train Sebastian for the night, which was why she was not worried at all, definitely not like the Mia was.

Mia snorted. "As if his ego isn't already big" she said, knowing full well Sebastian's ego was in no need of a boost.

"I know" Diana agreed. "Where at the others?" She then asked Mia.

"Chloe and Mason are on their way, with Nicole" Mia told her, and then let out an amused breath. "She's never been so happy" she added.

Mia could imagine Nicole sitting eagerly in the back seat of the car as she was on her way to the venue, like if she were a child on her way to Disneyland.

"She likes boxing?" Diana asked in confusion, tilting her head a little.

Mia gently shook her, looking amused. "She enjoys watching Sebastian suffer".

Despite Mia now being married to Sebastian and hashing out the past between them, Nicole still liked to see Sebastian suffer a little. She agreed he could be sweet at times and knew that he loved Mia a lot, but Nicole still thought he deserved a little more pain for what he put Mia through.

Diana laughed at Mia's words, and then took her hand, pulling her along and weaving their way through the crowd.

"How are you feeling? Scared, nervous, excited?" Diana asked her as they walked through the venue and going towards the changing rooms.

"Yes" Mia responded with, agreeing with all of the options given. "I've never properly sat down to watch a match on tv, and now I'm watching one live" she said.

She'd only ever been forced to watch it when Aaron would take over the tv when they were younger. Or when she was in the living room at the same time as Sebastian, but Mia hadn't ever sat down herself to watch it herself.

"It's only for charity" Diana said, trying to provide some reassurance.

"He's still getting hit" Mia pointed out.

She knew it was only a charity match and they weren't two heavyweights going up against each other, but it still didn't mean that they were going to fake fight.

Both Sebastian and the guy from Novelle would land punches on each other, and it worried her a little if he were to get too hurt.

Mia didn't want her husband to come back home broken.

"Eh, he'll recover" Diana waved off the concern.

They then reached the changing rooms. "Okay, in we go" Diana smiled towards Mia.

Before they went in, the two could hear some familiar voices arguing.

They opened the door to see Sebastian sitting at a bench with headphones, facing down as if in concentration, on one side of the room.

Then there were the other two on the other side of the room.

"That's not the song he's walking in with" Blake stated firmly.

Roman frowned at him. "It's a classic" he retorted.

"It's stupid" Blake said. "We should do it like Mike Tyson", and at this point Diana and Mia looked at each other in confusion.

Roman shook his head. "What with the chains?" He asked, to which Blake then nodded. "It's a friendly match, for charity Blake" Roman pointed out.

Blake then waved off his words. "It's a boxing match he needs to win Roman" he stated.

"What are you two idiots on about?" Diana asked, as Mia and her walked further into the room.

At this point, Sebastian was still in the zone and hadn't noticed the two walk in.

Mia's eyes drifted to Sebastian, and smiled seeing him so concentrated.

"Sebastian's walk-in song" Blake replied to Diana's question.

Whilst Diana nodded at his response, Mia looked at him a little confused.

"A song?" She asked.

Roman turned to her. "Yeah, so when Sebastian's name is announced, it's what will be playing in the background as he makes his entrance into the ring" he informed her.

Diana then walked towards Roman, stepping into his embrace, her back against his chest as he held her close.

"You're taking this way too seriously" Diana told Blake, shaking her head.

"Listen, I want him to win" Blake said.

Roman then eyed Blake for a second. "Hang on" he said. "Did you bet on this?" He asked Blake.

The question had Blake let out a nervous chuckle, clearly showing his guilt.

"Only with Nicole" he stated.

It was beneath him to make money off a charity match like this, but he had something better on the line.

"You bet with Nic?" Mia asked him, confused on why Nicole would even entertain this bet since she showed a clear dislike for Blake.

Blake shrugged. "She didn't think Seb would win".

"So what'd you bet?" Roman asked, amused by this whole deal going on.

Blake smirked. "A date" he stated.

Mia was now completely lost on why Nicole would go along with this. Her not thinking Sebastian would win, that was fine, but risking a date with Blake, that wasn't Nicole.

"Now I'm conflicted on who to vote for" Diana smiled, wanting to see Blake lose out on this chance for a date he seemed to really want.

"Fuck off Di" Blake replied playfully, seeing her grin at him.

Roman then narrowed his eyes at him. "Say that again" he warned Blake.

"Traitor" Blake mumbled, as Diana looked at him smugly.

At this point, Mia has wandered away from the others and towards Sebastian.

He was listening to his music, trying to get himself into the zone when a pair of heels entered his line of sight, and when he looked up, he saw his Mia standing in front of him with a smile.

Sebastian took off his headphones, placing them beside him, as he pulled Mia closer towards him, so she was now standing between his legs.

"Hi" he smiled, his hands resting on her waist and she leaned in towards him, placing her hands on his shoulders.

"Hi" she grinned at him.

The sight of her smiling was just everything for Sebastian, providing a sense of calm for him.

"You alright?" He then asked her, seeing behind this smiling mask Mia had on and knowing that she was probably very worried about him.

Mia gave him a bewildered look. "You're the one about to fight. Are you okay?" She then asked him, holding Sebastian's face in her hands.

He just smiled at her words. "I'm fine, it's not that big of a deal" he shrugged.

Mia then tiled her head slightly, her brows furrowing together. "Don't you want to win?" She asked him, confused by his words.

"Do you want me win?" Sebastian asked her.

"Of course" she then replied without hesitation.

Sebastian smiled once again. "Then it's sorted" he said, as if all that was needed was for Mia to say she wanted to see him win and he would.

The calmness Sebastian had only worried Mia even more. "You sure, you're going to be okay?" She asked him again.

Mia didn't know much about Sebastian's training sessions for the match, since whenever she did ask, he'd give a vague answer and then change the topic to talk about her.

From what she'd seen before, Sebastian was strong, and could land a hell of a punch on someone, but this was different to those times.

Sensing her worry, Sebastian just tugged Mia down, so that she was now sitting on his lap, as he circled his arms around her waist.

"I'll be fine Mia-" he told her, and then leaned forward, "-now tell me what I get if I win?" He asked.

Mia frowned. "Uh, a trophy?" She answered unsurely.

Sebastian chuckled, shaking his head. "I mean, what do I get from you" he asked her.

That was what he really wanted to know.

"Oh" Mia nodded, now understanding his question clearly.

She smiled at him, and placed her arms around his neck to lean further into him.

"Well, you'll find out when you win-" she said, and then moved towards his ear, "-but it'll be something you'll definitely need your energy for" she whispered.

Leaning back, Mia looked to see Sebastian's reaction and was definitely not disappointed to see a certain kind of hunger within his eyes, that was most definitely for her.

"Is that so?" He asked, and placed his hand on Mia's thigh, giving it a slight squeeze. "And tell me, does this something involve that bag I saw you sneaking into our closet last week?" He asked her.

Sebastian had seen Mia sneak into their room with a bag in hand, and placed it somewhere in their closet where he couldn't seem to find it, no matter how hard he looked.

He recognised the bag belonging to certain company known for their secret or lack their of.

Mia smirked. "It might" she said innocently, causing Sebastian's eyes to light up.

Whether Sebastian won or lost tonight, Mia wanted to be there for him, and what better way to be there for your husband than in some skimpy lingerie.

"You better have your energy intact then, sweetheart" Sebastian whispered in Mia's ear, and as the same time squeezed her waist, causing a shiver to run through her.

Just before Mia could say anything, Blake's voice interrupted the couple, who had clearly forgotten they weren't the only ones in the room.

"Seb! Come on, it's time" Blake shouted, his excitement showing.

Sebastian helped Mia onto her feet, and pulled her in for a kiss.

"See you out there, love" he mumbled against her lips as Mia held onto him, "-cheer for me" he added.

"Always" Mia smiled, and Sebastian leaned for another quick kiss before being led out the room by Blake and Roman.

Diana and Mia then also left the room in search of their seats, which wasn't too hard since they were reserved.

Before taking a seat, Mia went to get herself a drink at the bar to calm her nerves, whilst Diana went to the toilets with Chloe, who had just arrived with Mason and Nicole.

Sebastian had sent Blake and Roman away from him, since the two would not stop arguing about his walk-in music, and so the pair were now ringside with the others.

"Ugh" Nicole said, as soon as she spotted Blake and then swiftly walked away in search of Mia or a drink, whichever she'd find first.

"Yeah, nice to see you too" Blake then shouted after her, smiling to himself at her reaction.

"Mason" Roman greeted him.

Mason smiled back at him. "Hey man" he greeted. "Seb ready for the fight?" He asked.

Blake then nodded firmly. "He's going to win for sure" he stated, leaving no room for an argument.

"Where's Chloe?" Roman asked him.

"She went to the toilets with Diana" Mason replied.

Blake then nodded, but a smirk developed on his face when his eyes landed on Mason's neck.

"Nice hickey" he commented.

Mason nodded, and then his eyes went eyed. "Oh fuck" he muttered, his hand flying towards his neck, where his very shy girlfriend had given him hickey.

The fight had already began, and if Mia wasn't worried before, she definitely was now seeing the guy Sebastian was fighting, who looked almost as strong as he was.

They were up to round three of the fight, and she was on the edge of her seat.

She watched Sebastian land some pretty brutal punches on the other guy, but his opponent wasn't pulling back punches either.

Despite the fact that it was Sebastian that was getting the most punches in, the few that his opponent landed caused Mia to wince.

"Mia, if Sebastian lost his front teeth, would you still love him the same?" Nicole then casually asked her and Mia moved her eyes away from the ring to give her friend an annoyed look.

"Nic" Chloe said, smacking Nicole's arm.

Diana who had overheard the question, laughed. "I think I love you" she said.

Nicole shrugged at Chloe. "What? It's just a question".

"Whilst he's in the middle of a fight?" Chloe asked, a deadpan look on her face.

"Yes Nic, I'd still love him" Mia told her.

Nicole eyed Mia for a moment, and then waved off her answer. "Eh, you're married to him, you're just saying it out of obligation" she said.

Diana laughed again. "Honestly, where have you been my whole life?" She said, whilst Nicole winked at her.

Mia watched the fight continue, her nerves now completely on edge to the point where they were ready to tip off.

She couldn't watch, and yet still couldn't take her eyes away.

"Sebastian!" Mia then yelled, seeing the brutal blow to the ribs his opponent landed on him and now he winced in pain.

She leaped off her seat, ready to enter the ring to go to her husband, but before she could go any further than a couple of steps, Blake had grabbed her waist.

He held her back, as Mia struggled in his grasp, fighting to be free so she could go Sebastian.

Blake continued to hold Mia close, knowing that if he even loosened his grip in the slightest then she'd make a run for it into the ring and most likely get herself hurt.

Of course he didn't want Mia hurt, but knew if she even had the slightest scratch on her, Sebastian would kill him dead.

Blake liked Mia, but loved himself a whole lot more.

He didn't want to die so soon, so young and so pretty, especially before being able to take Nicole out properly.

"Hey, hey, it's okay Mia. He's okay" he tried to tell her, whispering loudly in her ear as her back was towards him.

Mia stopped struggling, but Blake still held her, unsure if she'd bolt.

"Blake, he's-" Mia began to say, not able to continue with her words.

Instead she turned in Blake's hold and buried her face in his chest, not wanting or able to see any more of the brutality of the boxing.

Blake hugged her tightly, gently patting her back.

"He's fine. Trust me, he's okay" Blake said, and then looked up to the ring, a smile coming onto his face.

"Look!" He said, turning Mia around to face the ring.

Everyone watched as Sebastian's right hook landed on his opponent's jaw, and the guy fell to the floor.

Everyone joined into the countdown with the referee and when it got to ten, and his opponent was in no condition to get up, the result was clear.

"And the winner is...Sebastian Carter!" It was announced, with the referee holding up Sebastian's arm as everyone cheered.

Sebastian's eyes immediately found Mia's as he grinned at her, and she smiled back, relief on her face as he was okay.

This was the last time I watch boxing live, Mia thought.

Boxing was definitely not for her.

As Sebastian left go shower and get ready, the others left the ringside area and were back near the bar.

"Well, pay up Nicole" Blake told her smugly, outstretching his hand for her to place hers in.

The others looked at the two in amusement, whilst Mia and Chloe looked towards each other, knowing Nicole wasn't going to agree to this so easily.

Nicole sipped her drink calmly and then tilted her head up towards him.

"Hmm?" She asked, as if no clue to what he was talking about.

Blake narrowed his eyes at her faux cluelessness.

"Don't even" he warned her, pointing his finger. "Seb won, so you owe me a date" he reminded her.

Nicole took another sip of her drink, and shrugged. "Okay" she said.

Blake opened his mouth, and then closed it. He expected her to put up more of a fight or just say something in objection, not just agree.

This was too suspicious, he thought.

"Okay?" He asked slowly, to confirm he heard her right and it wasn't the music playing in the background that made him mishear her.

Everyone else had their heads snapped towards Nicole as well, shocked they'd agree.

"Fifteenth of January" Nicole then said nonchalantly.

Roman and Diana looked on very amused, knowing exactly what was going to happen.

"What the hell?" Blake said, scrunching up his face a little.

Nicole calmly placed her drink down. "You bet me, if Sebastian wins I have to give you a date" she said and Blake nodded.

Nicole then smiled. "You never said I have to go out on a date with you, or that you want to take me out on a date" she said, emphasising on the words.

The others looked on a little speechless, whilst Mia and Chloe weren't all too surprised knowing that's exactly something Nicole would've done. It would have never been so easy with her.

"That's bullshit and you know it" Blake declared, annoyed at the loophole Nicole was trying for.

Nicole shook her head gently. "No sweetheart, it's why you should phrase your words properly" she told him.
