Ever since their first date together, Sebastian and Mia felt as if they were soaring with happiness.
Sebastian had kept true to his word and planned many more dates for the couple. Mia felt bad, that it was always him that would organise something for them to do together, but apparently that's how he liked it. He was intent on providing Mia with every date that he'd missed out on with her, even if that meant dates to the zoo, pizza-making classes or just walks to the park.
Mia had told Aaron and Melissa of her and Sebastian being a couple, and whilst Melissa was ecstatic for them, the opposite could be said for Aaron, who proceeded to call Sebastian every bad name under the sun, until Mia and Melissa intervened.
Begrudgingly, Aaron accepted the relationship, only because Mia seemed be happy. He really wasn't overly thrilled about the whole situation.
Despite the little hiccup, regarding her brother's dislike about their relationship, both Mia and Sebastian were in a happy place with one another.
She had now started working full-time within the marketing department, a job that she was incredibly thrilled about. Mia realised that this was something she really enjoyed doing, and the team that she worked with was amazing. She was happy.
The same could not really be said for Sebastian, however. He liked that Mia had found a role she thrived in, but he didn't like the fact that, this meant she'd now be working two floors below him. It wasn't fair to him. He couldn't spend time with her.
Mia would always come up to his office during her breaks and he would often go to her desk to pick her up for lunch, but it wasn't the same. He was too used to their previous arrangement, even if Mia would tell him it was all still good.
Tonight, was a small dinner party held at Richard and Lorelai's home.
Sebastian had told his parents about Mia being his girlfriend, not long after the whole drama in the office before. It was inevitable that word would reach Richard after that mess, so the pair decided to just come clean.
It was safe to say, his parents were ecstatic hearing the news, Richard especially. They just loved having Mia around.
Ever since Sebastian had told his parents about Mia being his girlfriend, they loved having her around.
For the party, Mia was dressed in a knee-length, black midi dress, which had an asymmetrical bottom half. There were thin straps at her shoulders, and her back was left exposed.
It was a dress that Sebastian bought for her, and while it wouldn't be her first choice, he was very excited for her to wear it, and she couldn't refuse. Not to mention, she looked amazing in it.
Meanwhile, Sebastian was suited and booted. He wanted to match Mia, as those couples often do int he movies.
The white shirt he wore, Mia's favourite, was fitted to his body, top-button done up as always. He accompanied that with a black dinner jacket and matching dress pants, a slim tie to go with that.
He had a black and white, checkered pocket-tie fixed on his lapel, a gift from Mia. Her initials stitched onto the corner. A little detail, that he loved a whole lot.
When the two entered Sebastian's parents home, the breathtaking mansion still a lavish sight for Mia, they saw a lot of the guests had already arrived.
The couple saw Richard standing at the centre of the room, a large grin on his face as he saw them.

"Mia, thank you for coming," Richard greeted her, when she was near enough and then pulled her in for a tight hug.
"It's always a pleasure," she replied, as they broke a hug, with a smile on her face.
"I knew I had a gut feeling about you, I was right," Richard then grinned at her.
Sebastian rolled his eyes at his father and placed an arm around Mia's waist.
"You're always going to take credit, aren't you, Dad?" Sebastian asked him.
Richard smiled in response and nodded. "Forever," he stated, causing the three of them to laugh.
After his laughter died down, with pride in his eyes, Richard then looked to Sebastian. "I'm glad you got yourself a nice girl this time, son."
Richard wasn't oblivious to the fact that, Sebastian had previously been dating Anna, on-and-off. He had held his tongue on his dating life, hoping that at some point his son would come to his senses, and realise that the girl was no good for him. When he'd heard about the scene that she had caused in the office, Richard hoped that Sebastian understood by now, Anna was trouble.
However, to now know that Sebastian was dating Mia, and serious about her too, he was truly very happy.
Richard could see the positive changes Mia brought out in his son. A big change being, the smile on his face. His smiled would now reach his eyes and was one from the heart. As a father, he felt content to see his son so happy.
"He's always had bad taste," Mia joked and Richard laughed at her words.
Sebastian squeezed Mia's waist slightly, as she mocked him.
"And what does that say about you?" He playfully glared at her.
Mia shrugged. "I have poor judgement," she teased.
A little while later, Sebastian had left Mia alone to mingle with some guests at his father's behest.
After speaking to Harry and Leslie for a bit, Mia had come to stand by the painting of the couple in embrace, that she had seen last time at Leslie's fiftieth last time. It was one that she truly adored.
She wasn't left alone long, as Blake then same to stand by her side.
"Hey, Mia," he greeted her.
"Blake," she nodded in acknowledgement, as he handed her a glass of white wine.
He then awkwardly stood there for a second, scratching the back of his neck with one hand, as the other clutched his glass of bourbon.
Mia gave him a weird look.
Blake then took a deep breath. "So, um, look, I'm not good at this," he began to say and Mia waited for him to continue. "I want to apologise. I know that Seb has, but so should I. Back in high-school, I also didn't believe you and I said some nasty things that you didn't deserve. So, uh, forgive me? Please?" he rambled on, breathlessly.
Mia stared at him for a moment, with a blank expression on her face.
His endless waffling, reminded her of when he had come to apologise to her in the office, a little after Aaron's visit. The most awkward apology ever...
Mia had just returned from her lunch, heading towards her office. Just as she opened the door, she was left wide-eyed, when a familiar face sat at her desk, making a paper plane.
She walked in further and it was only then, that Blake turned around and smiled at her.
"Hello," he greeted her, as if it were perfectly normal for him to be seated in her office.

"Blake? What are you doing here?" Mia asked in confusion, as she shrugged off her coat, placing it on the coat rack and then taking a seat on her chair.
She then noticed, that the paper that Blake had used to make his plane, had been from her own stationary set.
Blake looked down at his plane, and then back up at Mia, with a nervous expression on his face, as he placed his little creation in front of her. Like a peace offering.
"Seriously. What are you doing here?" She repeated her question.
Blake snorted. "Aren't you kind?" He muttered sarcastically, only for his smile to falter under Mia's gaze.
"Okay, fine," he sighed. "I-uh...look," he began, only to shake his head at her. "-Not like that."
"What?" Mia asked in confusion.
"Don't look at me like that?" He told her.
This only caused her to frown more. "Like what?" She asked, wondering what was her face doing, that bothered him so much.
"You look like a baby lamb with those eyes of yours, and the glasses just make them look bigger," he said.
He was just grasping at straws here, trying to prolong the time until he had to actually say what he needed to. However, it was true. She had these weirdly, big, animated eyes. It was like talking to a cartoon. Or like she could see through him. Either way, it was unsettling for him.
"Blake, what do you want?" Mia asked dryly.
Scratching the back of his neck, Blake twisted his lip, a little unsure on how he should take this.
Mia waited patiently, curious to hear what he had to say.
"I just..." Blake began, before he sighed and continued. "Thank you, for the lunch."
It took Mia a moment to figure out what he was actually on about, and when she did, she nodded.
"You're welcome," she replied.
She'd mostly organised it for her brother and a little bit for Sebastian, but it was nice that Blake thanked her for it too.
Blake nodded back, tapping away at the glass desk in front of him. He didn't really expect her to just say 'you're welcome', but rather put him through the wringer for it. Or mock him, or something. But no, she was...polite and kind. He didn't really know how to deal with that.
Mia waited patiently, assuming that he had something more to say, since he wasn't making any move to leave her office.
"Alright," Blake then said, realising they had enough of an awkward pause now and that he should leave, especially before Sebastian caught him in here.
He'd just gotten up and passed the threshold of Mia's office door, when he stepped back inside and looked towards her, whilst she just smiled.
"I'm sorry that you got hurt in that whole prank-gone-wrong situation. You were never meant to. I didn't want that," Blake said apologetically.
When he said it before, he meant it, but also knew it didn't sound genuine. But he needed her to know for some reason, that it wasn't what he wanted.
Mia smiled. This apology was one that she could truly accept.
"Thank you, Blake. I appreciate that," she told him.
He nodded. "Okay then."
"Okay," Mia smiled, again waiting patiently again, when Blake just stood there awkwardly.
He blinked slowly, wondering how he should make a smooth exit, rather than bumbling idiot.
"Miss Sareen. I need the Hewlitt Enterprise file, please." Sebastian's voice sounded in the office through the intercom and Blake immediately took that as his cue to leave.
"Bye," he quickly said and rushed out, before Mia could even respond.
"Come on, Mia. You're killing me here," Blake said desperately, snapping her out of her previous thoughts.
She had forgiven Blake already, even though he had never officially apologised, but she understood where he was coming from, but since he had still said some mean things to her, it was only fun for her to let him stew in silence for a second.
No longer being able to keep her resolve, she finally smiled.
"I forgive you, Blake." Mia said.
He then took a breath of relief.
"Wow, really stretching out that dramatic pause," he laughed and Mia couldn't help but join in.
"I couldn't help it, you looked so cute and uncomfortable apologising," she said.
Blake then glared at her for calling him cute.
"Tell anyone and I'll deny it," he pointed at her, and before Mia could retort, Sebastian walked towards the pair and wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her from the back.
"Deny what?" He asked.
Mia leaned back against Sebastian, and saw the glare Blake was sending her way. She chose not to say anything about his nervous apology, but rather smirked mischievously instead.
"That Blake likes me," Mia stated, and Blake choked on his drink.
Sebastian pulled Mia closer to his body instinctively, as if preventing her from being taken away from him.
"He what!?" He shouted, staring Blake down.
"Easy, brother. She's joking," Blake said as he saw Sebastian staring daggers at him.
He then couldn't help himself by adding, "-Not."
This then earned him a smack on the head from Sebastian, whilst Mia just laughed at their antics.
Sebastian's sister, Elizabeth, then came up to the group.
"Mia, come. I want to introduce to some friends," she said cheerfully, interrupting the trio.
"Lizzie, I just got her back," Sebastian whined, holding Mia's waist closer to him.
"Then you already know how to wait for her," Elizabeth smiled and then took Mia's hand, tugging her out of Sebastian's hold and leading her away.
Mia turned to Sebastian and mouthed the word 'sorry', as she was then lead away and Sebastian sighed watching her walk away. He just couldn't catch a break.
"Finally got the girl, huh?" Blake asked, as he looked at Sebastian, who was still staring in the direction that Mia had just left in.
"Yup. And I'm not letting go," he replied, with a determined look.
Sebastian was well aware that he'd made many mistakes in the past, but he was dead set on not making anymore in the future, at least none that would lead to him lose Mia.
"Don't make me gag," Blake scoffed at his mate, who resembled a love sick teen, not unlike Roman's face when he looked at Diana.
He knew the two were probably around somewhere and making heart-eyes at each other.
When he looked at Sebastian again, he noticed the expression on his face.
"You really love her don't you?" Blake then questioned out of the blue.
"I really do. She's amazing," Sebastian smiled.
"Whipped," Blake then muttered, covering it poorly with a cough.
Sebastian's jaw clenched and he turned towards Blake, narrowing his eyes slightly, before he then decided to have some of his own fun.
"You know, you'd like Mia's friend, Nicole," Sebastian mused, thinking about how a feisty spitfire like Nicole, would definitely tone Blake down, by a peg or two at least.
Hearing a girls' name, Blake's eyes twinkled and his ears perked up. "Tell me more about this, Nicole," he said.
After all the guests had arrived, Richard had tapped his glass to catch everyone's attention, preparing to make a little speech.
"Thank you all for coming. I'd like to..." he began to say, before he was cut off by someone else.
Everyone turn around to see who was causing the intrusion, and Mia immediately froze when she saw who it was, stannic right in the middle of the room.
Standing in front of her was Tucker, her worst nightmare from high-school, someone who she truly despised and hated. The guy who had not only tried to take advantage of her, but then made a mockery of it, placing all of the blame on her, and coming out innocent.
"Yes, thank you all for coming," he grinned in a sinister way, pointed towards Mia.
Her hands squeezed Sebastian's, as all the memories from that time rushed back to her. She paled from just the sound of his voice, the expression on his face causing the blood in her veins to turn ice cold.
Sebastian sensed her reaction, the way she gripped onto his hand, as if it were the only thing keeping her grounded, and it angered him to the bone.
"What are you doing here? Get out!" he shouted.
All the guests turned to him, with even his parents looking at him in a state of both shock and confusion. They had never seen their son act this way.
Tucker, unfazed, then lazily smirked. "Is that a way to greet an old friend?" he asked.
"Get the fuck out of here, Tucker!" Sebastian yelled once more, as he felt Mia's grip on his hand tighten.
Suddenly a pair of heels clicking against the marble floor echoes throughout the room. "Oh but why, Sebastian? He's here with me," Anna smiled, as she came to stand next to Tucker.
He couldn't even believe the extent Anna was going to get him back, siding with the likes of Tucker, who was undoubtedly a sleaze-ball.
Immediately it clicked for both Sebastian and Mia, how Anna was able to get that video from the prom incident, since the only person that would've had a copy is Tucker himself.
"Both of you, get the hell out of here. Now." Sebastian yelled.
He took a step forward, as his anger surged within his veins, but only stopped when he felt Mia's hand grip his even tighter, refusing to let go.
Ignoring Sebastian's warnings, Tucker looked straight at Mia, who was still frozen in place.
"Remember me, Mia?" He asked rhetorically. "Remember the way you clung on me? Hands on my chest, my lips on your skin, your neck, kissing you..." Tucker began to falsely narrate.
Mia shuddered. She remembered exactly how disgusting that felt.
"That's it-" Sebastian growled and charged towards Tucker, punching him square in the jaw.
A chorus of people gasping and shouting for Sebastian to stop began to chime, as he continued to hit Tucker,.
Mia remained frozen, unable to move to say anything.
"You fucking piece of shit! How dare you come into my home and disrespect the girl I love!" Sebastian bellowed, punching Tucker in the face, and Blake and Roman came between the pair holding them back.
"She's just a desperate little attention seeker. A whore, using you. A fucking slut," Anna then said, and Diana, came up to her, slapping her face leaving a prominent red mark.
"She's a no good piece of trash. Just a tease," Tucker spat out and Sebastian lunged for him once more, but it was Blake who punched Tucker.
That was the final straw for Mia.
"Enough!" She then shouted.
Everyone paused and turned to look at her, whilst she ignored their stares and stepped towards Tucker.
"I'm trash!? Me? No, it's the two of you," she started, as angry tears welled up in her eyes.
"Coming in here, acting as if I'm the one who's done something wrong. You hurt me. I was defenceless and you used your strength to force yourself on me. You made that video to ruin me. Showed it to Victoria, who fell for your lies and made a scene at prom. It was all you. You lied, you hurt, you deceived everyone, but I'm the one who got punished. You're a piece of shit for making me feel that way. I just regret not speaking up sooner and not saying anything before. But now, I'm done being scared," Mia shouted, her heart hammering against her chest, but this wasn't the time for her to cower away, she was determined to be brave.
There was a hushed silence in the large room, as everyone in attendance listened to Mia, the raw pain and strength behind each and every one of her words.
Richard, Lorelai, Harry and Leslie, all had pride in their eyes for Mia, whilst Sebastian looked at his girl with admiration, truly proud for standing up for herself.
"You bitch," Tucker growled.
He tried to lunge towards Mia, but was instead thrown to the floor by Roman, who had been holding him back.
"Go to hell," she said, looking at a pathetic Tucker, as he was dragged away by security.
Mia then looked towards a regretful looking Anna. "And you, you keep calling me names, calling me a whore, a slut and desperate. But you're the one who keeps coming here, with no reason, other than to humiliate me. So who's really the desperate one here?" She asked.
Anna shifted uncomfortably in her spot. She was ashamed for her actions and for siding with a guy like Tucker, who had also lied to her about the incident between Mia and him.
Sebastian then came to stand beside Mia, looking at his ex-girlfriend.
"Anna, I cared for you and what we had, it wasn't nothing. I'm sorry if I hurt you when I ended things, but can you honestly stand there and tell me that you loved me? That in what we had, you felt more for me, other than being attached with my name?" He asked her.
