After Mia had told him about meeting Mason and others for dinner, Sebastian couldn't help the way it made his blood boil.

For the rest of the day, he avoided her.

He gave her work that she could do in her own office or if she would come to him, he ended up giving her short, clipped answers. He didn't mean to, but that's all that would happen when he'd go to answer and then remembered that she would be going out to dinner with another man.

The thought of that bothered him for some reason.

As soon as the day ended, he didn't even bother to say goodbye to her, as he had been doing recently. Instead, he just left straight to go home.

He couldn't find it in himself to be at home either, so after a quick dinner, he decided to head to the gym, where Blake and Roman joined him.

For the last hour, Sebastian had been taking out his frustrations on a punching bag, something that Roman and Blake had both noticed.

"What's up with you?" Roman asked.

"Nothing," Sebastian replied gruffly, and continued to punch the bag with force.

"Nope, there's something," Blake replied.

He was the one who had to hold the bag whilst Sebastian struck at it, with some kind of heated vengeance.

"Can we just continue with the workout?" Sebastian asked exasperated, and walked away from the punching bag to reach his water bottle.

Blake hugged the bag, with his usual cheeky smile plastered on his face.

"You sure you'll manage, with a stick up your arse?" He asked.

At this, Sebastian chucked the bottle at Blake, who quickly ducked.

"Fuck off."

"Seriously, man. Who pissed in your cornflakes?" Blake shouted. He wasn't too happy at the fact that he nearly had a bottle thrown at his face.

Sebastian said nothing in response, only thinking about Mia with Mason. What could they be doing? Did he like her? Did she like him? Was it more than like? How long? All these questions and more were swirling in his mind and all he could do was respond to his own questions with punches to the bag.

He hated this. He hated being in the unknown, where his questions had no answers. The only person that could provide him with them, was currently out at dinner with some other guy.

"Was it Anna?" Roman asked and took a seat at one of the benches.

The only answer he received from Sebastian, was another harsh punch to the bag.

"He doesn't get so affected by her, not like this," Blake then said.

Sebastian glared at him, before he continued with his workout, and landed another punch to the bag.

"Maybe it was something at work?" Roman than pondered out loud. He tried to gauge Sebastian's reaction to the question, but got nothing in return.

"He'd be screaming down the phone at some poor sod, if that were the case," Blake responded.

He knew his mate all too well to know, that this was something different. This was not work-based anger.

"What about-"

"Could you two shut the fuck up and stop talking as if I wasn't in the room?" Sebastian snapped.

The room fell silent for a moment as Roman and Blake shared a look with one another, both understood that this anger of his was something completely different.

"Hey, boys."

Diana had walked into the gym with a smile on her face, which then morphed into a frown when she noticed the tense silence, Blake and Roman's confused faces and more importantly, Sebastian's annoyed expression.

"What's up with Seb?" She asked.

"He needs a good lay," Blake snorted and moved forward to give Diana a hug.

"I swear to God, Blake-"

"What's wrong?" Diana asked Sebastian, before he lost his temper and snapped at Blake.

Sebastian then let out a frustrated sigh. "Nothing's wrong," he replied.

Diana didn't believe him for even half a second. She gave him a look in return, which essentially said, 'I wasn't born yesterday'. A look that he, and all the other guys in the group, were very familiar with.

"I have a problem," Sebastian confessed and slumped down onto one of the benches.

"Yeah and its' name is Anna," Blake added.

Surprisingly, Sebastian didn't throw anything at him or punched him.

"It's not her," he admitted.

"So, it is someone then," Diana observed.

"Don't tell me it's Mia," Blake then said and began to laugh at his statement.

However, his laughter fell short when he noticed the look on Sebastian's face, as did everyone else.

"Oh my God, it is!" Blake exclaimed. "Pay up bitch," he grinned with outstretched arms.

Sebastian glanced up at Blake, who stood directly in front of him with a smirk plastered on his face and both his arms, outstretched in front of him. He kept on opened and closing his palms, with his eyebrows wiggling as well.

"What?" Sebastian replied in confusion.

"I bet you, you'd kiss her at some point," Blake reminded him. "We're in, what? The third month? I raised it up to £300. A hundred for every month," he then said, holding his palms open for the money to be placed within them.

Blake was so incredibly certain that Sebastian would kiss Mia eventually. He still remembered that look that he had on his face, the day that Mia walked out of his office. It was one that he'd never seen on Sebastian before, not even with Anna.

He was so sure, in fact he knew, that at some point Sebastian was bound to fall for Mia at some point. Especially when he hung around all day, everyday.

"You're actually an idiot," Diana stated, and shook her head at him.

"A rich idiot," Blake wiggled his brows. "Now pay up, Carter," he said towards Sebastian.

"I haven't kissed her," Sebastian replied with an annoyed expression.

The thought of kissing Mia was still odd to him. He hadn't thought had still not occurred to him. However, he couldn't lie to himself, he didn't want anyone else doing it either.

Blake then looked at his mate in disbelief. "Then what you so frustrated for?" He yelled, only to grin at him a moment later. "Oh wait, is it sexual frustration?"

"Fuck off, Blake," Sebastian growled and threw one of his boxing gloves at his grinning face.

Diana, being the only compassionate one of the group, could sense that there was something more to Sebastian's mood.

"What's wrong, Seb? What happened?" She then asked him.

Sebastian pointed a finger at her. "This is all your fault," he told her.

She was taken aback by the accusation.

"Mine? What did I do?" She questioned him and slapped his hand away as she spoke.

"You were all like 'Mia isn't that girl you knew from high school'," he mimicked her voice, "And after that failed prank with her last week-"

"What prank?" Roman asked in confusion, with Diana holding the same expression as him.

Sebastian's eyes widened. He'd forgotten that they had kept this incident to themselves.

"Blake suggested it," he quickly defended himself.

"What prank?" Diana pushed and narrowed her eyes at both Blake and Sebastian.

"Okay fine," Blake said after crumbling against Diana's glare. "I told Sebastian that to get Mia to quit, he could try scaring her into it. I told him I could get some guys I know from university, to intimidate her," he said nonchalantly, as if what he just said was the most common thing ever.

"What!? That's horrible!" Diana shouted.

Sebastian winced at her tone. "It gets worse."

"How?" Roman asked.

"The guys that Blake had said would come, cancelled on him and he sent me a message about it, only I didn't see it. I went ahead with the plan, assuming that everything was still in order, only for real bad guys to show up and hurt both Mia and I."

"Oh my God. That's why you didn't want to meet up last week, because you were all battered and bruised, which you said were from training," Diana said in disbelief at their lies.

Blake then chuckled. "You actually believed that?"

Diana whacked him over the head. "You're such a dipshit. Both of you," she scolded them like children.

"Hey, I just suggested it," Blake said and then pointed at Sebastian. "He's the one that went through it."

"You called the fake goons," Sebastian then retorted.

"Pish posh. Can't prove anything," Blake responded, sticking his tongue out, like an insolent child.

"You little-"

"Wait, come back to how this is my fault again," Diana asked, interrupting Sebastian, before he could let out a string of curses at Blake.

Sebastian groaned. "Since you said that, I'm seeing her in a new light," he started. "After we both got hurt and she knew it was basically my fault, she was still concerned about me."

He still remembered the way that Mia gently touched his cheek in concern.

"You got her hurt and still was concerned about you?" Roman asked.

"Well, she did punch me..."

Sebastian also remembered the throbbing pain in his cheek, from where Mia had decked him right in the jaw.

"Mia punched you?" Diana asked him in pure surprise.

"Yeah, but I did deserve it," Sebastian replied, to which Diana nodded in agreement.

"And then today, I went to lunch with her..."

"You went on a date?" Blake asked with surprise.

"Not a date," Sebastian stated.

Blake smirked. "Was so a date."

"Shut up, Blake." Diana then snapped. She just wanted Sebastian to continue, so that she knew why he was blaming her for his own misery.

Blake held a hand to his chest. "Wow, I'm feeling really attacked right now," he then dramatically wiped a fake tear from his cheek.

"Wanker," Sebastian muttered and Blake just grinned at him in return.

"Anyway," Sebastian continued. "We went out to lunch together and it was nice. But then-" he paused.

"Then?" Roman asked.

"She said she's going out to dinner with Mason and a few others," Sebastian mumbled.

"Who the fuck is Mason?" Blake questioned as he wondered who the new bloke was in the story.

"Another one of the assistants," Sebastian informed him.

He knew of Mason, since he worked with one of the other executives. As far as Sebastian knew, he was a good guy and friendly. However right now, he hated him and wanted to fire him, keep him away from the building. Far away.

Diana observed him for a second, before coming to a judgement with a smile on her face. "I see. So basically you're jealous," she stated.

"I am not" Sebastian responded like a five year old.

"Oh, you so are. That's why you're acting like a hormonal teenage girl," Blake laughed.

Sebastian glared at him. "Piss off."

"He's not wrong," Diana said and both Blake and Sebastian stare are her in disbelief, even Roman.

"Would it bother you if she started dating this Mason guy?" Diana questioned him.

Sebastian couldn't seem to answer the question. "I-she, I'm not..." he stuttered.

"I'm gonna take that as a yes," Diana said. "You may not have fallen for her yet but you're definitely catching feelings for her. If you're not careful, you'll soon be falling."

Sebastian pondered over her words.

"Fuck," he cursed, as realisation hit him like a truck full of bricks and he leant back, resting his head back against the wall.

"I'm so going to make money," Blake said, amused at his friends' state.

Sebastian threw his other glove at Blake, who hadn't anticipated it and it hit him in the face.

"Idiot," Diana muttered.

Whilst his friends laughed, Sebastian was left with the thought that he may actually be falling for Mia and he felt like the air was sucked out of him.

'What was he meant to do now?' He wondered.
