After that night, things between Sebastian and Mia seemed to have improved for the better. They weren't exactly best friends or anything, but their working relationship had definitely improved.

Mia didn't come to work the next day, taking the personal day she said she would, letting herself heal. Of course when Mia returned home, Nicole was out for Sebastian's and Blake's blood, for what they did. It took a lot of convincing on Mia's part to get her to calm down, however it was now Nicole who hated Sebastian.

Sebastian, himself, took a few days off for his injuries, instead working from his home. He hadn't told his father exactly what happened, only mentioning that he wasn't feeling too good. It probably wasn't too appropriate for him to go to the office, whilst he looked like he'd just been in a cage match.

He'd also decided that from now on, he'd listen to his gut and trust that the Mia he was getting to know now, was the real her.

Mia stood in Sebastian's office, yet again organising the man's desk. It was as if he was incapable of keeping the area neat and tidy. She remembered the way his home looked, it can't be hard to keep this desk clean, compared to his living room. If he was doing this on purpose, she'd throttle him.

"Knock knock," Mia turned and immediately grinned seeing Sophie at the door. "Look who I brought for a visit," she said in singing tone, and strolled in with her twins in a pushchair.

"Sophie! Oh my God. Hi," Mia exclaimed and moved forward to hug her straight away.

"It's so good to see you," she said excitedly and then crouched down to get a better look of the little bundles of joy, looking back at her with their big eyes, few tuffs of blonde hair, chubby cheeks and slight drool on their chins.

"Aww, the babies," Mia cooed, and reached forward to gently caress their cheeks, which earned her an immediate giggle from them.

Sophie rolled her eyes. "You say 'aww' now, but take your eyes off of them for a minute and it's a bloody nightmare," she huffed.

Mia laughed in response and then looked at the little ones again.

"What are their names?" She asked.

"After a long battle, we finally settled on, Imogen for our girl, it was my Nan's name. George for our boy, names after my husband's Granddad," Sophie informed her.

Mia couldn't help let out a coo once again, "Beautiful names."

Sophie smiled. "I'm just happy our battle didn't turn bloody whilst trying to decide them."

"So, how's the job working out? Sebastian isn't being too hard on you, is he?" Sophie asked.

She knew exactly how difficult Sebastian could be with change sometimes and she also noticed how hostile he initially was, when she was training Mia.

"It's..." Mia started and paused to try and find an appropriate word. "-we're managing. He misses you."

"I mean, who wouldn't." Sophie said, with a dramatic hair flip, which caused Mia to laugh.

After finishing off a conference call, Sebastian was on his way back his office, only to hear laughter coming from within.

He felt confused as he heard it and swiftly opened the door, only to be surprised at the sight.

"Sophie," he said in surprise, noting the blonde sat on his sofa with Mia, and a pushchair in front of them. An immediate smile graced his face and he walked towards her.

"Hey, Seb," she grinned and then stood up, as she pulled him into a hug.

Mia had also stood up and watched as a rare smile graced Sebastian's face once his eyes landed on Sophie.

He then pulled away from the hug a little, holding onto Sophie's arms and then looked her form once over and frowned.

"I thought you already had the babies?" He asked playfully, with mischief in his eyes.

"Still a dick, I see," Sophie smiled back, as she smacked his shoulder.

"Of course," he nodded. "How are you, though?"

"A mess, with these little rugrats," Sophie stated and then gestured towards the twins.

Sebastian then crouched down in front of them.

"They're cute," he said and waved his fingers in front of the twins, as they just looked at him wide eyed. "Gone on the father for sure," Sebastian joked and stood up straighter.

"Prick," Sophie replied and punched Sebastian's shoulder slightly. "I hope he isn't like this with you as well, Mia," she the said, and turned around to at her.

Mia had been standing there silently, observing the sibling-like relationship between the two.

"No, he's a delight," she then responded with a fake smile, which caused Sophie to laugh.

Sebastian caught onto her sarcasm and glared at her, whilst Mia returned his look with a smile.

"So, I actually have a favour to ask the two of you," Sophie then asked Mia and Sebastian, who both nodded at her and waited for her to continue.

"I'm taking the kids to my parents and I realised I left one of my bags at home. My husband is out of the city and since I was near this office, I came here. So, what I'm asking is, can you watch the kids for a moment?" Sophie asked.

"Us!?" Sebastian and Mia shout in unison, shocked at her request.

Sebastian had never been around babies on his own before, at least not till his little sister grew up, and even then Lizzie was only five years younger than him and he couldn't hold her on his own.

Babysitting kids was different, that was something that Mia could do, and she did when she was younger. Kids were fine, they weren't as fragile as babies and could kind of hold their own. Taking care of someone else's babies was too much responsibility.

"Just for a bit?" Sophie reasoned and looked towards Sebastian with an exaggerated pout.

"I'm trying to run a company here, Soph," Sebastian replied.

Sophie rolled her eyes at the excuse. "Which won't collapse in an hour, Seb".

Instead of waiting for either of the two to reply, Sophie grinned. "The babies' things are all in the bags, diapers, milk, the whole thing," and before they could object, she quickly walked towards the door. "Thanks guys, love you," she said and ran out the door.

"Wait, Sophie!" Sebastian shouted after her.

His voice Mia broke out of her daze.

She looked at the twins, who grinned up at her with their gummy smiles.

'Well, shit.'

After an hour and half later, Sebastian and Mia still had the kids with them.

They had called Sophie, who mentioned something about a faulty washing machine leak and cut the call on them, which left Mia sighing and Sebastian frustrated.

The two of them then decided to be efficient about this. They chose to each handle the responsibility of one of the twins. They carried out the feeding, burping and much to their annoyance, the changing as well.

After a while, they were now trying to get the twins to go to sleep, with Mia sitting on Sebastian's sofa and cradling little George.

Sebastian couldn't help but stare at her with a smile, as she hummed a soft tune and rocked the little baby in her arms. It was quite the sight.

A moment later, Mia could hear small whines from Imogen and so she looked away from George to glance at Sebastian, who was clearly struggling with Imogen.

"What are you doing?" She whispered.

"I'm trying to put her to sleep," Sebastian whispered back, as Imogen was struggled in his hold when he tried to hold her against him.

"I don't think she likes that," Mia said, amused at the fussy baby.

"Well, clearly you got the more easy-going baby," Sebastian snapped, whilst trying to control the baby in his arms.

"I don't think there's such a thing as an 'easy-going' baby," Mia replied and laughed when Imogen smacked Sebastian's chin.

He huffed in response. "There is and it's currently in your arms grinning at me."

Mia looked down to see George staring at Sebastian with a wide smile on his face.

George was definitely more of a calm baby compared to Imogen, but Mia wasn't going to admit that out loud, especially in front of Sebastian.

Instead, she gently touched the little ones' chubby cheek and cooed. "Whose an obedient little baby? You are. Yes, you are," she said and earned a delighted squeal from George.

"That's embarrassing," Sebastian scoffed, as he tried to hold Imogen the way Mia was holding George, which the baby seemed to react a lot better towards.

"Don't be jealous because my baby's better than yours," Mia smirked.

He then let out snort. "Mine, is a sweetheart, unlike you."

Mia couldn't help but laugh at this. "And unlike you, my little guy is an angel," she said and placed a kiss on George's cheek, to which he squealed in happiness once more.

As he watched the baby giggle, a thought then occurred to Sebastian.

"Come here," he said to Mia and she looked at him confused.

"Why?" She asked.

"They do better when they're near each other," Sebastian noted.

He remembered that when they were in the pushchair together, they seemed more calm. He hoped that this would then help the two of them fall asleep.

"So, come sit closer," he instructed her.

"Ugh, fine." Mia grumbled.

She scooted slightly closer to Sebastian as carefully as she could, as she didn't want to hurt or cause discomfort to George in the process.

Sebastian noticed that she had probably moved out an inch and rolled his eyes.

"Closer," he beckoned her.

She only moved an inch closer again.

"Just come closer," he snapped, before a lazy grin came over his face. "I don't bite, unless you want me to."

Mia scrunched up her face in disgust. "That's just gross. Don't talk like that in front of the kids," she said.

She then moved closer towards Sebastian on the sofa, right next to him, so that the babies were close together too.

After some time, the soft snores of the babies were the only sound in the office.

Sebastian kept his eyes on Imogen and tried to be as still as possible, so that he didn't wake the sleeping baby. He actually found her to be quite adorable, the way she slept with her mouth parted.

"See? Much better. I told you-" he began to whisper and turned his head towards Mia, only then did he notice that in the midst of getting the babies to sleep, she had fallen asleep as well.

"Miss Sareen?" He whispered, only to have her head droop slightly and rest on his shoulder as she slept, her arms still protectively around George as he was snuggled up to her chest.

Deciding it was better not to wake her in case she woke the babies, Sebastian whispered, "Guess it's nap time," to no one in particular and closed his eyes as well, his head tilting slightly to rest upon Mia's.
