"Mia, come on. It's Saturday night. Don't be like this," Nicole said, throwing a pillow at Mia in frustration.

Mia remained unbothered, and placed the pillow beside her, and continued to browse through her recommendations on Netflix.

"Why can't you guys just go? I'm so tired, just want to sit and binge watch," she replied, not too happy that her plans to do nothing on the weekend, were currently under attack.

Being Sebastian's assistant was no easy task, it was exhausting in fact. So all Mia wanted on her weekends, was just to have some time to herself.

"Oh no, you don't," Nicole said.

She snatched the remote from Mia, who then pouted and reached for it, like a little child that just had their toy taken away from them.

Chloe then came from the kitchen and sat down next to Mia, who was just focused on getting her remote back.

Placing her hands on her hips, Nicole shook her head. "You've been doing that way too much lately. It's been forever since we've gone out."

"Come on, Mia. We haven't been clubbing in a while," Chloe then urged her.

The thing about Chloe, was that she had one of the most innocent of faces. So when she pulled the puppy-look, it became incredibly hard for anyone to refuse her and Mia was not one of the exceptions.

"Fine," Mia groaned and then looked at Chloe, "-but you're making me tea for a week," she told her.

Chloe then grinned. "Done."

The two then looked towards Nicole who was now bouncing on her feet.

"Come on then, bitches. Let's get ready!" Nicole shouted, eager for her night out.

Meanwhile, back at Sebastian's apartment...

"So, you and Anna again, huh?" Roman asked Sebastian.

The group sat in the living room, having a couple of drinks, before they headed out for the night.

Sebastian shrugged. "We just kissed," he said, but then instantly realised he should not have said a word.

Blake grinned at him, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "Kissed or made out?"

Sebastian rolled his eyes at Blake.

"Kissed," was all that he replied and then took a gulp of his drink.

Diana, who was sitting opposite Sebastian, frowned at him.

"Why do you keep getting back with her?" She asked, crossing one leg over the other.

Both Roman and Blake turned their head towards Sebastian, at Diana's question. Intrigued to know his answer too.

The group was never fond of Anna, especially not Diana. They would all witness the way that Sebastian, who was generally smart, would become stupid when it came to her. Somehow the woman would bring out the worse in Sebastian, and he was too blind to notice it.

It was also pretty clear that Anna herself, wasn't fond of the group's friendship either. She didn't really bother to interact with them much and when she did, it was mainly to make a comment that was often a thinly-veiled insult.

For Sebastian's sake, all of them had an unspoken agreement to get along, especially since Anna was the only woman he'd shown interest in for a long time.

"I'm not back with her," Sebastian told Diana, who then just gave him a pointed look.

"But you kissed her?" she asked him.

"Lapse of judgement?" Sebastian shrugged, talking another sip of his drink.

Diana rolled her eyes. "You can't keep saying that," she said.

This wasn't the first time that Sebastian had used that excuse and the group was well aware, that kisses between the pair always led to them getting back together.

"I just...with Anna, it's just comfortable," Sebastian said. "We know each other and it's just easy."

He sound Anna to be very attractive and the way that their relationship was, just worked for him. There as no real commitment, or pressure, it was easy. He liked her, that should be enough. Shouldn't it?

"You know that's a shit reason to be with someone?" Roman told him.

Sebastian just groaned."Can we not talk about this right now," he said and then finished off his beer.

Blake could tell that he wasn't in the mood to talk about it and usually he'd be the one to piss him off more, but then decided against it. He didn't want to ruin his own night either.

"Yeah, forget this tosser's love life. It's time to hit the club!" He then shouted and the group agreed to stop their discussion for now and go to enjoy their night.

The girls had just got out of the station, now dressed up in their outfits for the night, ready to head to the club.

"Would you relax? You look great," Nicole said looking towards Chloe, who was struggling with her outfit.

She wore a tight black skirt, with a bottle-green crop top, chosen for her, courtesy of Nicole. Chloe's makeup was kept natural with only a dark lip, with her hair kept straight and sleek as it usually was.

"There is way too much skin on display right now," Chloe replied, trying to tug at her skirt, and simultaneously pulling up her top. "Why did I agree to let you dress me?" She groaned at Nicole.

"You don't see Mia complaining and her whole back is on display," Nicole gestured towards Mia.

"Yeah, Chloe..wait, what?" Mia said slightly alarmed. "My whole back?" Only realising now at how much of her skin was on display and it was just her thinking it was.

Mia wore a red, backless playsuit. It stopped just above her mid thigh and the colour made her bronze complexion glow. The back was tied up, with little tassels hanging off of it. She curled her hair, making it look more tamed than usual, with with natural make up and a dark-red lip.

"Relax, it's like half your back. Besides, it's a halter-neck, what'd you expect?" Nicole shrugged, whilst the pair just rolled their eyes at her.

Nicole herself was wearing a figure-hugging, black dress, which was mid-length and had a slit going up her thigh. It showed off her long legs, as well as some cleavage, with thin straps at her shoulders. She wore a smokey-eyed look and a dark lip, her hair kept dead-straight.

"You know you treat us like dolls?" Chloe said and Nicole halted in her steps, turning around to look at the pair.

"You guys look sexy and you know it. So a 'thank you, Nicole', would be appreciated about now," she told the girls in a scolding tone.

"Thank you, Nicole," both Mia and Chloe replied in unison, before looking at each other and laughing.

"Children," Nicole muttered.

After a short while, the three of them reached the entrance of the club and since Nicole had already bought the tickets, they were allowed an easy entry inside.

After a quick stop at the cloakroom, to drop off their coats, the girls made it onto the main floor.

"Let's go and find me a man now!" Nicole exclaimed, but before she could run off, Mia and Chloe stopped her.

"Hold it!" Mia said.

Nicole looked at the pair with a pout.

"What did we agree on?" Mia asked her, crossing her arms and raising a brow.

"No getting plastered, pissed-faced drunk," Nicole answered in a monotone voice.

"And?" Chloe asked.

"No running away from you guys at the end of the night," Nicole added on, again in a monotone voice.

"Good girl," Mia told her with a smirk.

"Want me to bark as well?" Nicole asked sarcastically.

Mia grinned at her. "If you want," she shrugged.

"Bitches," Nicole cursed at the two, which only caused them to laugh.

The girls then headed onto the dance floor, to enjoy their night, unaware that there were already some familiar faces there.

"That was so much fun!" Mia shouted, trying to raise her voice above the sound of the music, as Chloe and her retreated from the dance floor toward one side of the bar. They kept an eye out for Nicole, who was still dancing with a handsome stranger.

"Glad you came out now?" Chloe smiled at Mia.

She grinned and nodded. "I am," she said, narrowing her eyes a little. "You're still making me tea for the week."

Chloe then laughed at this, "Yeah, yeah."

Nicole then joined the pair, leaving behind the handsome stranger, who still kept his eyes on her as she walked away from him, precisely the effect that she liked to have on men.

The girls were grinning at her and she couldn't help but smile back at them as well.

"I'm going to the toilets," Mia then announced.

"Want me to come?" Chloe asked her, but Mia just shook her head.

"No, it's okay, you stay with Nic. I'm more sober anyway," she said.

Nicole uncurled her middle finger towards her.

"Piss off, Mia," she replied with narrowed eyes.

Mia blew her a kiss. "Love you too, Nic," she said, before heading towards the toilets.

Whilst heading down the narrow corridor, Mia heard some voices coming from near the emergency exit doors, which were left slightly ajar.

On the other side of that door was Diana, who was being roughly pinned against the wall by a man.

"Move, you prick," Diana said.

She was struggling to get away from the man, trashing in his hold, trying her best to get away. However, he just kept himself pressed against her, stopping her efforts.

"Come on, baby girl. Don't be like that," the man slurred, clearly too intoxicated, yet still strong enough to hold onto Diana.

"Fuck off," Diana gritted out and tried to knee him in-between his legs, but he blocked her move.

"Ah ah, not letting you getting away so easy," the man sneered at her.

Mia walked towards the noise coming from the other side and pushed the emergency exit door open a bit more.

Immediately, she saw someone pressed up against the wall, with another man in front of them. Mia recognised that it was Diana, Sebastian's friends, and saw that she was struggling in this man's hold.

The sight brought back a painful high school memory for Mia, where Tucker had her pressed against the wall and she was unable to do anything about it.

Filled with rage, Mia strode towards the guy, who was too engrossed with the vile act to notice Mia coming towards him.

"Hey, arsehole!" She called out, which then caused him to turn. Before he could fully comprehend what was happening, Mia used her bag to whack him over the head, as hard as she could, which in his intoxicated state knocked him to the ground.

"Ow fuck," he yelled out as he fell onto the ground. "You bitch!" He cursed, holding his face.

As soon as he made a move to get up, Mia kicked him in-between his legs with her heel-strapped foot, which then caused him to yell out once more, now clutching his privates part.

"Touch her or another girl like that again, or call me a bitch, and you'll be one dickless, dickhead," Mia spat out, whilst the man just groaned in pain.

Before she could kick him again, three security guards came through the door.

"What's going on here?" One of the guards asked, seeing the man on the ground, a furious Mia, and a slightly shaken Diana.

"This piece of shit was harassing my friend," Mia said, glaring at the man on the floor.

The security guard looked towards Diana and saw that she was a little shaken. He nodded his head at Mia and then looked at his fellow guards.

"Come on," two of the guards said, picking up the man from the floor and dragging him out. The remaining guard looked at Diana. "We're sorry about this, Miss. Are you okay? Do you want us to call someone?"

"Y-yeah. I'm good. Thank you," she responded and the guard nodded at the two, before leaving them alone.

Mia then turned to Diana. "You sure, you're okay?" she asked her.

She looked Diana once over, checking to see if there was any sign of her being hurt. Mia was in this position before, so if anyone knew how Diana felt, it was her, only Diana wasn't a little girl having to endure this alone.

"A little shaken up, but okay," Diana said, with a slight smile.

She had always been a strong, feisty woman, but today, she didn't feel so strong. She was so angry and mad that some random stranger made her feel that way.

"Are you here with friends? Want me to get them?" Mia asked her, knowing it was better that she not be left alone right now.

"I'm here with Blake, Roman and Seb," Diana replied.

"He's here?" Mia asked.

Diana noticed that she wasn't exactly thrilled to know that, but smiled and nodded anyway.

As soon as Mia heard his named, she suppressed the urge to groan. It was bad enough she had to see him at work, but on a night out as well? This was just perfect.

She thought that right now it was best not to get hung up on thoughts about how much she disliked Sebastian, especially at a time like this.

"Come on, I'll take you to them," Mia then said, and took Diana's hand in heres, linking their fingers together securely, and they went back through the doors.

"Thank you, Mia. Truly, thank you," Diana said with a smile and Mia just smiled back.

The pair then weaved their way through the crowd, with Mia leading the way and following Diana's directions on where she was seated before with the boys.

Mia then managed to spot all of three of them, sitting in a reserved booth and chatting amongst themselves. She then held onto Diana's handed a little tighter and walked towards them, mentally preparing herself to face Sebastian.

The boys, who were in the midst of a conversation, looked up seeing someone approaching their both and when they took in Diana's slightly dishevelled appearance, with hair a little frizzed up and makeup smudged, they jumped to their feet.

Roman was the first to jump to his feet and walked straight up to Diana.

"Di? You okay? What's wrong?" He asked frantically, placing his hands on her shoulders as his eyes scanned her for any signs of hurt.

Blake and Sebastian stood up as well, a look of concern washing over them as they took in Diana's shaken appearance.

Sebastian's eyes then glanced towards Mia and he stiffened slightly seeing her at the club.

"Mia?" Sebastian questioned, her name slipping out before he could stop himself.

She just offered him a small smile and an awkward wave.

"What happened?" Blake asked Diana, however she didn't respond.

Mia looked towards her and instantly knew that she probably didn't want to say the words herself, the weight of them could sometimes be too much. However, she also knew that her friends wouldn't let her stay quiet.

Instead, she answered for Diana. "Some dickhead try to hurt her," was all she said, since it wasn't her place to give any details.

She then saw that all the mens' eyes darkened and they began to clench their hands into fists, pure anger and rage rolling off of them in heaps.

"What!?" Blake exclaimed with anger.

Sebastian remained still, his lips forming a thin line whilst breathing deeply, as if trying to calm himself.

"Where is he? I'll kill the bastard," Roman spat out.

Diana took one of his hands and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "It's okay," she said. "Thankfully, Mia came on time and dealt with the leech. She even got the bouncers to take him out the club.

"She did?" Blake questioned.

Sebastian kept his eyes focused on Mia as Diana spoke, trying to process all that he'd just heard.

She could tell that Sebastian's eye were on her, she didn't even have to glance in his direction to know that. His gaze was trying to burn through her and it was making her feel a little uncomfortable.

Mia then decided she should really get back to her girls, since she had been gone too long and they were probably wondering where she was.

"I've got to get back to my mates," Mia said, causing all eyes to be on her now, not just Sebastian's. "Take care, Diana." Mia smiled at her and then made a move to leave.

"Mia, wait!" Diana called out and she turned back around.

"Thank you," she then said with a genuine smile.

"It's alright," Mia replied.

Her eyes then drifted towards Sebastian, unable to help herself and she saw that he was already looking at her.

She then nodded at him, before turning back and weaving her way back into the sea of people to find her friends.

After Mia left, everyone's eyes and attention to was back onto Diana.

"You okay, Di? Want to go home?" Blake asked her.

He noticed how her hands were shaking, whilst clutching onto her purse so tightly, that her knuckles were turning white.

Diana shook her head and then smiled softly at Blake. "No, I'm okay. A little shaken, but I want to stay and enjoy the night. That prick doesn't get to ruin my night," she added, changing back to her usual self.

"That's my girl," Blake chuckled, ruffling her hair whilst she smacked his hands away. He liked it when she was like this, resembling an angry puppy.

Blake laughed and then turned to say something to Roman, but stopped himself when he noticed Roman's stern face.

"Uh, Ro? You okay? You look like a vein is about burst in your head," he joked, but no one seemed to find it funny.

"How dare he touch, Di!?" Roman muttered through clenched teeth, livid from what he'd heard. All he wanted to do in that moment, was beat the shit out of that guy.

Diana noticed the tension and placed her hands on Roman's arms.

"Roman, look at me," she said and he looked at her face. "I'm okay. Mia came on time," she said with a smile, and that was all it took for Roman's tense posture to ease up a bit.

"I didn't even see her here," Blake then mentioned, referring to Mia.

"Hard to spot someone in a club," Diana stated.

Since the club was crowded, it was hard to spot anyone that wasn't either freakishly tall, or wearing something that would catch the eye.

Sebastian was just rooted in his position and his eyes were fixed on the place Mia was just standing at, before she had disappeared into the sea of people.

He couldn't help but notice how different she looked from her usual office wear and without her glasses. It was like he was seeing a whole new person. The way she was dressed in red, the colour of love, lust and most importantly danger.

Sebastian knew that thinking about her in any way, but hatred, was dangerous territory and yet couldn't help himself. She was beautiful. The curls of her hair, reminding him of how they looked like a waterfall from when he saw her in the lift early on. The dark red of her lips, standing out against her skin. It all alluring and...

"Seb?" Diana spoke, effectively snapping him out his thoughts and looking towards her.

"Yeah?" He replied in a questioning tone.

Diana stepped towards him. "I really don't know what happened between to you guys in the past, but Mia can't be like the girl you described her to be," she said and Sebastian furrowed his brows in confusion.

"What'd you mean?" He asked her.

"When she saved me, the anger in her eyes for that guy, there was something else about it," she mentioned.

Before Diana could say anything more, Roman and Blake took her towards the dance floor.

Sebastian was left alone with his thoughts.

He couldn't help but think about what Diana said, 'the anger in Mia's eyes'. That must've been because of what she saw. However, part of him felt like there was something else, something he wanted to get to the bottom of for some unknown reason.
