"Damian! Galen! Where do we put these boxes?!" A voice shouted from the front lawn. I turned to look whose voice it belonged to and saw Sammy, our soon-to-be Beta, carrying a stack of boxes. Rows of giant U-Haul trucks were lined up on the lawn, and Sammy was currently emptying the second to last one.

Galen, my brother, appeared beside me and shouted back to him, "Just separate them according to who they belong to and what the contents are!" Sammy nodded and instructed the other pack members on what to do.

Galen smirked and shifted his eyes to me. "Despite what dad says, I think we're perfect Alphas already. " I tilted my head as if contemplating it, making him laugh. I smiled and shook my head.

"We're in high school, Galen. We still need a more thorough education. We still have a while to go until dad relieves his position and allows us to be Alphas. And besides, you know how the elders feel about a young Alpha, much less TWO young Alphas taking over. We need to gain their trust, which means we need to go to school and go out to search for our mate," I told him. He rolled his eyes, the smirk fading.

"I know. I was just joking. No need to lecture me. Jeez, take a joke once in a while," he said, annoyed, then walked away. I just sighed and inhaled the fresh air.

We are getting a new start because an accident happened in our old location. A few pack members were out hunting when an avalanche swept down the mountain side, killing all but one. For days, nobody wanted to enter the pack house because of the memories we had with the deceased pack members. Our pack is so close to a family and it was extremely difficult to walk through the pack house with a smile. So, we moved. We moved from America to Canada, Southern Canada to be exact. The province of Manitoba was given to us by the council, who saw our situation and decided that we needed a break. They also gave it to us because of the rarity of our situation.

See, my brother and I were born twins, something very uncommon for werewolves. Werewolves treat us as royalty, because when twins are born, they are destined for unique and powerful mates. If anything, it's two twin females, but my brother and I are the third set of twins in all of history and the first set of male twins in history, in the werewolf world.

I was torn out of my thoughts by the smell of a human. The other pack members tensed and looked around, alarmed.

'Settle down, the humans are probably curious about a large group of newcomers in their town', I assured them. The nodded their heads and continued moving boxes into piles. I walked toward the dirt path that led to the roads, which was surrounded by large trees. I started jogging until I got close enough to the scent and started walking slowly and casually again. I walked the curve of the path until I saw a teenage girl peeking through the trees. She had bright blonde hair and was skinny like a typical cheerleader. I quieted my steps and came up behind her. She stood up on her toes and looked around once more, obviously not seeing me enter the trees and come up behind her, before leaning forward, as if to continue walking.

I leaned in close to her ear before she had a chance to leave and whispered, "What is a small girl like you doing in a forest all alone like this?" She let out a small scream and turned around, simultaneously doing a roundhouse kick and kicking me in the jaw. I heard the snap of her ankle before she felt it. I flinched back from the force of her kick as she fell to ground with a small yelp. I rushed down to her.

"Are you okay? I'm so sorry for scaring you! Dammit, please be okay!" I rushed to feel her ankle of a break until I felt her shoulders shaking. I looked to her face and realized she wasn't crying, but laughing. "Are you okay? Why are you laughing?" I feel very concerned for her mental state of health. She shook her head, still laughing.

"I'm fine. I just find it hilarious how I kicked you in the face and I'm the one in pain," she said, still smiling. Now that I see her face, I can see how pretty she is. Her hair is not just bright blonde, but has black dip-dyed ends, and her eyes are light brown. Her chest is pretty large and she has a slim waist. She wears a light blue t-shirt and jeans with tennis shoes. My brother would definitely go for her.

I looked over her ankle. "It doesn't seem to be broken, just twisted. You might just wanna ice it for a few hours, it'll be good as new tomorrow," I said gently. She looked at me with surprise. "Yes, yes. I know some stuff. I'm not a doctor. I've heard it all before," I said when I saw the questions arise in her eyes. She blinked once. Then twice. Then, she smiled.

"Thank you very much! Sorry for snooping, but seeing as I've never seen you before, you are apart of that new bunch of people coming in, correct?" She asked. I picked her up and set her on a log. I took out my pocket medical box from my jacket and took out some wrap. I began wrapping her ankle as I responded.

"Yes, I am apart of the new group. Why would you come all the way here just to find out about us?" I asked, with a raised eyebrow. She laughed.

"Well, everybody was curious when the principal started getting excited about 'the new students coming' and we made bets in who would be the first idiotic person to sneak about to see who the new students were. Since nobody betted on me, I went on ahead," she said brightly with a smile.

My mouth twitched at an attempt of a frown. "Why didn't anybody bet on you? You must have friends. I mean, you're beautiful." She blushed and looked down. "Not that I'm coming onto you or anything! That more my brother's style to be honest."

She looked back up at me with a bright smile than before. "I have two friends. But that's it. They don't have much confidence in me. I could be popular, but I don't let people tell me what I can and can't do. I like anime. And I'm not letting anybody tell me if that dorky and uncool. Plus, I used to live next to this creepy guy that weirded everybody out." I looked up toward her face as I finished wrapping her ankle.

"Creepy guy?" I asked. She nodded.

"Yeah. I never knew his name, but everybody who encountered him and left always called him Master. Not in the BDSM way, but like, a samurai master kind of way. Also, he was always in the woods with the ghost boy," she explained while examining her ankle. She experimentally stood up and out pressed in it and shrugged. She stood up to start walking when her knee buckled. I hurriedly caught her and stood her up again. She steadied herself before smiling at me in thanks.

"I'll help you home. It's fine," I said to her. She nodded and we started walking to her house, my arm around her waist as she hobbled, with her pointing the way.

We walked through town, the quiet, peaceful town, and finally arrived at her house. She walked to the railing lining the stairs and held onto it. I went to help but she waved me off. "Thank you for helping me. I apologize for trying to spy on you guys," she said, while looking down with a blush.

"It's fine. Oh, and I'll be going to your school, so I'll see you there. Have a good night!" I said to her. She nodded and walked up the stairs to her front door. Just as she was about to shut her door, a thought occurred to me.

"Wait!" I shouted. She peeked her head though the door. "What were you talking about earlier? About the ghost boy?" She smiled mischievously.

"If your going to my school, then I'm sure you'll hear all about him," she said.

I'm confused. "About who exactly?" She smiled and shut the door after saying something.

"The boy in the woods."
