"No, no. Please don't leave me, I need you " I heard someone crying which broke my sleep, looking beside me I saw Sia sweating like anything, her whole face was in tears and she kept saying " don't leave " over and over

My heart sank seeing her condition, she is having a nightmare, Again.

" Sia, Sia calm down " I said taking her in my arms

" You left me, Aiden also left me, everybody left me. No one wants me. you said you would never leave me, but still you did" She mumbled in her sleep

Aiden?

" baby, I'm here, everything's ok. Look at me, Open your eyes " I said patting her cheeks

She opened her eyes, and looked at me for a second " you didn't left" She said and closed her eyes again

" I-I'm not leaving you, not now, not ever " I said pulling her more closer

I had no idea what to do so I just hold her close to my chest and said whatever came in my mind at the very moment.

" I want you and I need you. Just Sleep ok. I'm here" I said wiping her tears and hugged her tightly

" I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I know my sorry won't matter but I'm sorry. I promise you that I'll mend whatever I broke. You can't just go into some shitty depression without punishing me. I need you the most " I whispered in her ear and didn't realise when a drop of tear from my eyes fell on her cheeks

Touching my eyes, I realised that I'm crying.

Wiping them, I looked at the clock and saw its 3 in the morning, She usually woke up at 7:30 or 8 means I can hold her till then .

I stayed like that with her in that very position. she was sleeping and was hiccuping occasionally. Although I was in a very uncomfortable situation but she is near me and that's what matters right now

I stared at her face noticing every little details of her for I don't know how long and recalled everything I did. I missed her, I missed her way too much.

" Guess you will never know that how much I missed you " I said staring at her

Thinking all this, I didn't realise that its already morning, I looked at the clock to see its 7:00. Slowly I put Sia on the bed and went out of the room.

This isn't the first time I'm doing this. Whenever she have nightmares, I hold her in the night and the next day before she could wake up I leave the room

Time for my next step!

After getting ready for office, I was having coffee when Sia came downstairs.

I stopped her saying" no, not to the kitchen. Go get ready, we need to go somewhere urgently "

" Can you tell me what's the occasion, so I will dress accordingly, Sir " she said

Ignoring the 'Sir' word I said " wear anything you're comfortable "

She left without any next word

Last night, I realised that to bring her back, I need to act normal. Here Normal means before I knew anything although minus the bullying part.

I can't just go and tell her how sorry I'm, I can't just humiliate her one day and a total soft on the next day.

Sia didn't said or asked anything the whole ride, that why are we here in the office?

" Come with me " I said to her and entered the office building.

" Excuse me, Everyone. I need to make an announcement " I said loudly reaching at the design floor.

Sia was still beside me with a straight face looking infront of her.

" Meet her, She is Sia Black, the new Head of Product Design " I said pointing my hands towards Sia

This time she looked at me, but I averted my gaze from her

" Sia, Mr. Leonard will brief you the work " I said and was about to leave but stopped after hearing whispers

" All of you listen to me very carefully, She is the head of this floor and my Wife, if I find anyone misbehaving with her then you have to deal with me. I don't think that I need to tell you what dealing with me means?" I said sternly in an authorative tone

" I'll see you in the evening " I said turning towards her and left before she could ask anything. Although I know she wouldn't ask questions to me but still.

She needs to work and voice out her opinion and that is one of the many reason I appointed her.

She is one hell of a talented girl I've ever came across

The whole day passed in jiffy, with loads of work

Every hour I called Mr. Leonard to ask about Sia that how is she doing and everything.

Although I know that she will be doing great

So far, so good.

The office hour is over, I went to her floor which is the 13th one while mine is the top floor

Reaching at her cabin, I knocked "come in " she said

Going inside I saw her engrossed in doing some paperwork, " yes? " She said still looking down at the file

She don't know, its me.

" The office hour is over " I said and thats when she looked up.

" Come, we have to go. You can do the work tomorrow " I said and without saying anything she stood up closing the file

I want to ask her how her first day went? But I didn't, because she won't answer me

Reaching near car door, I looked back to see her still standing infront of the office building.

Sighing I went towards her " hey what happened? Come on " I said

" I'll go by myself " she said

" What? No. Come I'll drop you " I said

" No thanks, Sir, I don't need your help" she said

" I'm not helping you, you're my responsibility " I said but she didn't gave any heed to whatever I'm saying

" No, I'm not your responsibility. I can manage on my own " she said looking for some vehicle

" Look Sia, don't argue now. You don't even know the address. How will you go? Huh??" I tried once again

But she ignored me like always

I tried to calm myself while closing my eyes .

" Sit in the car. Right now " I said sternly but still she stood there unaffected by me

I sighed and texted one of my people to get me a car urgently.

A bus came, and she was about to go but I pulled her by arms and kept her at her place

" what? You're not going on the bus" raising my eyebrows I said

She tried to free herself but failed. Just then a brand new grey car came in our view.

" Good evening, Sir " One of my most trusted bodyguard Jade said coming out of the car

" Sir, on such instant notice only this car was available " he said while I nodded

I looked towards Sia, to see her looking at the opposite direction

Dismissing Jade, I said " You don't want to come with me, Fine. Here's your car "

" I think you didn't listen to me in the first place, I said I don't want your help, " she said stretching the word 'Sir'

" And I'm not coming to your office from tomorrow " she added

" But I'm not helping you, my father want every single report of you and obviously I can't tell him that , my wife can't sit with me in the same car and is freelancing when we have a billion dollar company " I stated Looking at her

" Moreover, I know you're not going to take my help, that's why I'll cut the car's price from your salary, ok??" I added

" And don't think for a second that I'm doing all this for you, I'm doing all this for me." I said looking at her

She looked away

" Jade is my most trusted bodyguard, he will be with you all the time " I informed

With this Jade drive Sia to the villa

God! I know I have been a douche bag but I want to make everything right, Please help me.

Its 9 when I reached back home because of an urgent meeting.

Today was a hectic day, I'm so tired.

Coming to the living room I saw no one present, its normal as Sia usually live upstairs while all the staffs leave around 8.

Sitting on one of the couches, I closed my eyes only to feel someone staring me. I opened and saw Sia staring me with a questionable look

I couldn't understand, why is she staring like that as its not normal for her

" Where were you? " She asked pouting angrily, the way she said reminded me the memories of us, first I couldn't believe my ears but then I was on cloud nine

She still cares for me!

" I-uh I had a meeting " I said slowly fumbling up.

God, she is making me nervous

" So, that doesn't give you the right to come late. You will be coming home at 6 sharp, ok??" She asked cupping her waist with her hands

Why is she acting different?

I didn't understand at first but later I realised that she is drunk, Sia is way too drunk.

All my happiness shattered in a second but, I didn't let it show on my face

Well, I'm an expert in not showing my emotions

" you're drunk" I mumbled to myself

" Me? No " she said

" Sia, what-what did you had? " I asked

" Nothing, I had nothing Xander " she said smiling

Xander! She called me Xander after so long.

Hearing her calling me by my name realised how much I missed being called Xander by her

" Ok let me rephrase you, what did you drink? " I asked

" Water " she said like giving an interview

" No, you did drink something " I said

" No, I didn't " she said stubbornly

" Fine, can you please give me the water you drank?" I asked and she smiled widely

Nodding her head happily like a kid, she stood up and went inside followed by me.

I saw she's taking out a bottle, but that bottle doesn't have water, its actually filled with a vodka.

"Here" she said innocently giving me the vodka

Fuck, she had vodka and that too neat

But how come she didn't realise?
