So, here is the new chap

Recap: Xander took Sia for lunch

Sia's pov

The waitress left after taking our orders then Xander spoke

" What are you thinking?"

I came out of my thought and asked

" Nothing, why you want me to come with you?"

" I already told you, for the job" he said casually

" But I didn't asked for your help" I said trying to sound confident

" Stop pretending, I know about you more than you" he smirked

"W.. what you know" I asked

"Forget it, Monday. Sharp 9:00 Black Industries Headquarter, Houston" he said more like ordered

I was like ' What'

" B.. but Xander, I don't need your help" I said

" You might not need my help but think about your family, your mother . Your cousin is a Doctor that too a famous one, while you are just sitting on couch doing nothing, people do compare baby "

" I mean think about your aunt and uncle " he Said very softly

'he is indeed right, if I will get a job then I won't be a burden on anyone' I thought

" Hmm..ook, I'll join" i said unsurely

"Thats like my girl" he said and smile to me, for a second it feels like it was a smirk

But maybe I'm delusional, so I ignored

just then the waitress came with our food

Xander has ordered way too much, and most of the items were foreign to me, I never saw this much food at one table

Lunch

"white or red?" He asked

"What" I said dumbly

"Wine ofcourse, what you thought" he chuckled

" I don't drink" I said

He nodded making an 'oh' face

After serving, the waitress left and its just me and Xander again

I gathered all my courage and asked very slowly

"Xander, wh..why are you being ni..nice to me?" My voice was almost inaudible

But he heard it

Looking up from his plate he said very confidently yet slowly "well there are no. of reasons, starting with you need a job, I know your Aunt, you fascinates me in so many way and also maybe because I might like you"

And then I was numb, I don't know how to react oh god, why its so hot suddenly. I'm sweating, is he making fun of me?, what should I do? Should I trust him but I don't know him, but he didn't laugh at me today.. oh god its very awkward what will I do now

This is the first time someone had ever told me that they like me and I don't know how to react, I should have asked Cat or Kevin but the dumb person I'm, I didn't.

"Hey hey hey" someone tugged my arms and thats when I came back from my thoughts and saw Xander

I don't have any confidence left to look at him, so I just stick my head to the other side

Suddenly the room starts fascinating me, but it was a short pleasure as he kept his fingers on my chin and pulled my face toward himself so that we are face to face

I'm sure that all my mascara is smudged because I'm sweating like anything, I'm so nervous

" Calm down, breathe" he said very softly and cleared my smudge mascara with the tissue

" Its ok, don't panic" he was saying all these things very softly and slowly while I was only staring at him blinking my eyes

" Sia, its fine dont worry" he said

" Lets eat our lunch, ok" he asked me

And I involuntarily nodded

" Good, now eat see you have to finish all the things, right?" he said kindly

I only smiled

Then he served me asking what I want, and I felt special for the first time in my life

During the lunch he asked random questions about my studies, my likes, and dislikes

At the end, I asked him question about my job role

" You are a design engineer, right?"

I nodded

" So you will be a design engineer in my company" he said calmly

I smiled

" Now whats for dessert" he asked

" I'm full Xander" I said

At this point I have become somewhat comfortable around him

" Are you kidding me? You have to eat, come on tell me" he asked again

I didn't said anything

" Fine, I'll give you options so smoothie, Ice- cream or sweets" he asked

" Ice-cream" I said

He chuckled at my answer saying I knew you're gonna choose this

After Lunch, he said " lets drop you home, madame"

I only Chuckled

In the car, he said " Sia, about the liking thing you don't need to say anything, ok?"

I only stared at my lap

" I just wanted to let the feeling out, but just so you know you are very different and I'll be lucky to know you more"

I smiled slowly

" Ok , I'm not gonna make you more nervous, so we will talk about this later" he said playfully pulling my cheeks

" But before that I'm sorry the way I behaved with you, I really am" he said looking ashamed

I didn't like his this face and it really touched me that he is accepting his sorry, he sounds genuine

" Its okay Xander, don't do it next time" i said slowly

" Yes, I promise" he said

" But you also have to promise something" he said

" What" I said

" That you will be never ever be scared of me, I know at times I became jerk, but don't be scared" he said softly

" Y.. Yes I'll try" I told him

After that he drove the car in comfortable silence and we reach at my house

" bye Xander" I said and open the car's door

But he pulled me towards himself

" Miss me" he said huskily in my ears while touching my hair

I only blushed and left

I went to my home and changed my clothes

Laying on my bed all I did was to think about Xander

Yes he did looked down on me, but he didn't laugh at me today

He looked so genuine and I don't know why I'm blushing thinking of all this

I might've misunderstood him, with a smile on my face I dozed off as I was tired

When I woke up its 7 in the evening, I went downstairs to see my mum in the kitchen and then I talk with my mother and have some family time

After dinner We went to sleep

All this time, I was constantly thinking about one person i.e, Xander Black

I don't know why I'm behaving like this may be because this is the first time I realised that I'm not a burden

Thinking about him, I dozed off smiling
