Epilogue

"Violet," he whispered in my ear. I remained still pretending to be asleep.

"Violet." He shook my shoulders making me groan.

"Go away!" I pulled the bed spread over my head and snuggled into the pillow.

"Baby doll, you have to wake up," he cooed. My lips twitched upwards but I didn't reply since I was tired, especially after last night. Why? It was mainly Eros's fault, he locked me up in our chamber and –

I gasped opening my eyes as cold air hit me. Sitting up, I glared at a smirking Eros. How many times did I tell him not to wake me up so early, but he always does! I clenched my fists and counted to ten. One, two, oh forget it!

"Can't you take me not replying as a sign that I want to sleep?!" I demanded angrily, crossing my arms. Instead of replying, I saw Eros's eyes glued to something. I decided to look at what he was so interested in and looked down at myself only to blush crimson. It's official, my husband is a pervert.

"My eyes are up here!" I pointed to my face and stood up grabbing a robe and pulling it on. Eros laughed walking to where I stood and pecked me on the lips while wrapping his arms around my waist. I stared up at him, pretending to be mad but couldn't help but smile when I saw him grinning down at me. Ugh, what this man does to me, I mentally rolled my eyes.

"What? I can't help that my wife is one hell of a sexy lady, can I?" Okay, he's forgiven, I grinned pulling his lips onto mine. I closed my eyes feeling tingles running up and down my body. We've been married for eight years and I still felt the exact same sensations I used to when I was eighteen. Eros gripped my hair deepening the kiss while his other hand trailed down my body. I instantly knew what he wanted, and he sure as hell wouldn't be getting it.

"Oh no, not today babe." I walked past him into the bathroom. Eros groaned making me chuckle. Serves him right for what he did to me last night. I wonder if the guard had heard us, ugh, this is so embarrassing!

I knew why Eros had woken me up while being in the middle of my slumber; he doesn't usually do that unless an important event was taking place in the morning or someone was coming over, the latter being the case now. Bryson, Giovanni and Remus were coming today, accompanied by their wives; or should I say, the Kings and Queens of the Werewolf, Angel and Vampire kingdoms.

Bryson found his soul mate a little while after the war ended and trust me when I say this, he went haywire. His mate was cute; having those black doe eyes and wavy black hair that went past her lower back. Lydia was also a sweet girl, usually liking to stand in the background but when it came to serious situations, she turned one-eighty degrees. She and I had become instant friends which made Bryson even happier since his mate was breaking past her shy shell.

As for Giovanni, he is married to Patricia. Patricia and I met when I was visiting the Angel Kingdom and from the moment I set eyes on her, I knew she would make a perfect match for Giovanni and turns out that I was right. Her and Giovanni had taken an instant liking for one another. Giovanni and Patricia had two kids, twins to be exact, Katy and Kaden who both looked identical to their father.

Moving on to Remus, he married Charlotte , the one that started yelling at him in a café. Charlotte, or as I call her 'Red' kidnapped Remus's heart and had turned him into a love struck puppy when they had began dating. I chuckled as I remembered how nervous he had been when he was going to propose to her. He had kept on having doubts saying 'what if she doesn't agree' and all of that but it ended up well.

And Claudia, you wouln't believe with whom she had paired up with. When she had first told me, I thought she had been joking but the serious look on her face told me otherwise. I had never expected Peter to be Claudia's knight in the shinning armor but he was. I smiled when my thoughts went back to her wedding day. She had been getting on everyone's nerves by wanting everything to be perfect. I couldn't blame the woman for wanting everything right since it was her wedding day, but c'mon, her mother was about to tape her mouth ... seriously.

My thoughts went to Eros and I remembered how his people had been happy that his father was gone. They had accepted Eros with a smile on their faces, and he couldn't have been more happy. When Eros and the rest of his men had returned to their kingdom, a big celebration had taken place, welcoming the new king and soldiers who had fought against the darkness.

Many people had objected about my relationship with Eros, especially in the previous witch kingdom since they had said that the heir to the throne must marry one of her own but thankfully, my uncle had made them shut up. When Eros and I married, the witch and demon kingdoms united, becoming one; which explains why I called it the 'previous witch kingdom'.

A knock on the door broke me out of my thoughts.

"Violet, are you okay?" By the tone of Eros's voice, I knew he was worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied wrapping a towel around my body.

"Do you need some help?" I rolled my eyes. I knew what help he was implying.

"No, I'm good." I went out of the bathroom and walked into my closet ignoring Eros's gaze on me. I looked at the two dresses I had chosen yesterday and tried picking between them. One was a multi-colored floral dress and the other was a knee length black dress with a blue waist ribbon surrounding it. I looked from the floral to the blue dress and smiled as I decided which one's better, floral it is.

I got out of the room and watched Eros as he stood in front of the mirror and fixed his tie. Crossing my arms, I leaned against the wall and watched him with a small smile on my face. Memories flooded into my mind about the day Eros had proposed to me.

I looked at myself in the mirror, admiring the polka doted dress I wore and twirled around loving the way I looked. Eros and I were going to have a small dinner in Eros's castle and I was excited about it. I really don't know why because we've had personal dinners many times before but I couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen today, something good.

A butler accompanied me to the garden where a table and two chairs were covered by white linen. They were set in the middle surrounded by dozens of lilies and jasmines. My eyes wandered to Eros who had his back facing me. He was a few feet away staring at the path that lead to the river. He must have heard my footsteps since he turned around.

I blushed as I saw him look me up from head to toe but when his eyes lingered on my lips, my cheeks grew even warmer. Eros took a few steps forward, taking my hand in his and being the gentleman he is, he pulled the chair behind allowing me to sit.

Just as we finished dinner, Eros took my hand and led me down the garden. We kept on walking and from time to time, I would catch Eros looking at his clock for some strange reason. I found it weird. We finally reached a spot that was surrounded by roses. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Eros blow out a big breath.

"Violet, I need to tell you something."

I turned to him confused but didn't say a word.

"I knew we had a rough beginning, mainly because I was a complete jerk. We hated each other but that hate soon turned into love and I'm more than happy that it did. You turned my life upside down, showed me that love truly exists." He looked into my eyes and all I could see was love. I closed my eyes as he caressed my cheek but opened them again with a smile on my face as he began talking again.

"Never have I believed that I would fall in love with a woman, but you proved me wrong." He gave me a small smile which I returned with my own. I wanted to know where Eros was going with this, only if he – The sound of a plane made me look upwards and I gasped at what I saw.

There, up in the sky and in huge and cloudy letter was written; 'Will you Marry me?'

My eyes wandered to Eros whom I expected to be standing in front of me, but instead, he was kneeling on the floor holding a violet box in his hand and in it was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen.

"Violet White, will you do the honor of being my wife?"

"What are you thinking of?" I looked at Eros and shook my head, a smile on my face. I walked up in front of him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Of the time you proposed." A grin took over Eros's face as he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer.

"It was a romantic proposal wasn't it?"

"Hmm." Instead of answering, I pressed my lips but my bliss couldn't continue could it?

"Mommy, Auntie Claud and Uncle Gio are – Ew!" Eros and I pulled away only to find Axel covering his eyes with his tiny hands.

"Are you done yet?" His hands were still on his eyes and I could already see him grimacing. I laughed at that and took my baby boy into my arms. Axel is my four year old son and one of the best gifts I've ever been given. He was an intelligent kid for his age and you could immediately see the similarities and common features between Eros and him.

Axel was a spitting image of his father; black hair, silver eyes ... I was pretty sure that when he was going to grow up, he would be a heartbreaker. Axel removed his hands from his eyes and scowled.

"Why do you keep on kissing? It's gross! Dad, don't you know that girls have cooties?!" He turned to his father who only laughed.

"I know buddy, I know. I just do that so your mother doesn't get mad." He ruffled his hair making Axel giggle. I narrowed my eyes at Eros and put Axel on the ground.

"Excuse me?!" I put my hand on my hips and glared at Eros who was smirking.

"You know I was joking. Now, stop being a drama queen and let's go, we have guests to meet." He offered his hand, an amused look on his face. I rolled my eyes and put my hands in his while thinking of one thing, I am not a drama queen!

---

"Oh, look at James! He's all grown up now." I kissed his cheek staring down at the four and a half year old in front of me. The little boy grinned, puffin up his chest in pride. I looked up at Bryson and saw him smiling at his little boy. My eyes went back to James and saw him staring up at me with his big brown eyes. James was a copy of his father; his face, his actions, his personality... Bryson. The only difference between them was the color of their eyes. While Bryson's are green, James's are a deep shade of chocolate brown.

"Unbelievable, he gets all the attention while I get nothing." My eyes wandered to Jace who had his arms crossed. When Bryson found his mate, which wasn't long after the war ended, he wasted no time in starting to make babies. Of course, that was ten years ago. Now, Jace is ten years old and I could already feel that he'll have girl swooning over him when he grows up.

"Jealous much?" Aya's voice echoed through the room. Aya, my daughter. She is my blessing. She looked so much like me, especially inheriting my violet eyes. I looked at Aya and smiled. That's my girl! I knew that Aya had a crush on Jace, mainly because of her constant arguments with him... and the way she looked at him. Lydia and I always talked about them and how much of a cute couple they'd make. Oh, and Lydia actually made it her goal to pair those two together.

"Me, jealous of James? Pff, as if!" Jace rolled his eyes. I inwardly chuckled as a flash of mischievousness crossed Aya's eyes. Oh, Jace's in for a big one.

"Aya, what do you think of taking the kids to the garden?" I decided to interfere before Aya said her comeback.

"Okay." She sighed, disappointed that she didn't fire back at Jace.

"I'll come with you!" Jace popped in. I looked at Lydia who was looking back at me with the same expression, knowing.

"I bet you one hundred dollars that those two will end up together." Peter chirped, grinning at Remus who just shook his head.

"Trust me, with a father like Eros, I doubt she'll ever get married." He muttered. I looked at Eros and covered my lips, trying to keep in my laughter. He had a hand under his chin and was glaring hard at Remus.

I wouldn't blame Remus for what he said because it was the truth. Eros had strict rules; no dating till eighteen. Even though Aya was still ten, Eros warned her that if she dated any guy, he would lock him up in a dungeon.

"Excuse me?" Eros raised an eyebrow at Peter. I looked at Claudia who had her narrowed eyes set on Eros, I hoped Eros didn't go too far with Peter; I didn't want to hear Claudia's whining when we were alone. Speaking of Claudia, for some reason, she became mature ... mentally. At first, when Peter and her got married, I never would've expected her change so ... drastically.

"Don't give me that look my king, you know that's the truth." He teased making us all chuckle. Peter had't changed one bit, he was still the same Peter, outgoing as always but serious when he needed to be. Same went for Remus and Giovanni. I wouldn't say that the same thing applied for Bryson because he had changed. Sure, he was still the old Bryson but he had now become a true alpha to his people. The fair and honorable man they had expected him to be.

"It's not my fault that I don't want my daughter being heartbroken because of boys." He gave Peter a pointed look which made Peter nod in agreement.

"I know the feeling, last week Natty was holding hands with the neighbor's kid. I spent the entire evening glaring at the kid and trying to take him away from Natty but he wouldn't budge." He rubbed his forehead making Eros laugh.

All of us continued on talking, Eros and the guys talking about their kingdoms and what they have on their hands while me and the girls talked about the kids. It was after an hour that Giovanni, his wife, Claudia and Peter left the castle with their kids saying that they had a council meeting and everyone, including Claudia and Peter had to attend it. I guess it was serious or related to a huge crime or such.

As for Bryson and Remus, they remained here, not that I complained; I missed their company. Charlotte and Lydia, their wives decided to take a walk in the garden. They offered me to join them but I declined. I was feeling nauseous and my head was starting to ache so the best solution was to go to my chamber, so I politely excused myself and went up.

"Are you okay love?" I turned around and gave Eros a short nod telling him that I was fine when few minutes ago, I was puking my guts out. Eros didn't seem convinced by my answer but he let it drop. Wrapping his arms around my waist, Eros rested his chin on my shoulder as we both stared outside the window.

I bit my lip, debating on whether I should tell Eros about my well-kept secret or not.

"Eros, what do you think of having another baby?" I felt Eros go still for a moment. I fiddled with my fingers wondering how he was going to react. I knew Eros loved kids and would be ecstatic if he knew that I was pregnant, but I couldn't help but feel nervous.

"Violet, are you...?" He didn't need to complete the sentence.

"Maybe." I turned around taking in his expression. He was shocked but I could see that he was happy.

"Actually, it's a definite yes." I giggled as his face broke out into a grin but I squealed when he took me in his arms bridal style and showered me with kisses. He took it better that I thought he would. At least it was better than the first time, he started making buffets as an honor for me being pregnant.

"I love you- " He kissed my forehead, "I love you," My eyelids "I love you." My nose "I love you." And he finally reached my lips as I eagerly granted him access making his tongue invade me as his hands went under my dress to caress my inner thigh.

"Eros, not now." I moaned. It took me all my might not to pull away and jump on him right then and there and tell him to take me. But that wouldn't be appropriate since we had guests downstairs, would it? Eros groaned remembering the kings and fixed his hair.

"Right, but I will get some later." I stopped fixing my dress and laughed. It amazed me how men always thought of sex, especially Eros. From the moment we got married... even before. Just as Eros was about to kiss me again, Aya barged in the room.

"Momma, Jace kissed me!- oh" She stopped in her tracks as she saw her father. I looked wide- eyed at Eros who had his fists clenched and his eyes turn red. Uh-oh.

"I will kill that little brat." He growled storming out of the room.

"Dad!" Aya tried stopping him but it was pointless, Eros walked out of the room, rage clouding his vision as he thought of someone kissing his little girl.

"Aya." I patted the empty space on the bed. "Tell me everything."

Aya grinned as she quickly dashed through the room to sit next to me.

"Okay, well we first went out to the –" And so she began telling the story and I listened to every single detail, though I was still worried about Jace. Hopefully, Eros wouldn't really put him in the dungeons.
