Chapter 21
Eros's P.O.V.
I stared at the ground as Linkin Park's 'Burn it Down' blared through my earphones. I had been sitting in my God damn room for over an hour thinking about yesterday's date . Violet just had to wear that tight bronze dress! I swear, that woman wanted to kill me. It had been hard trying to control myself and not have my way with her right then and there.
But thinking of her reminded me of that sick excuse of a prince, Giovanni. Yeah, some might say that I was being hard on the guy and that he hadn't done anything wrong but he was with Violet, my girl! Technically, she wasn't my girl yet but she is going to be, soon.
But what if she said no?
I brushed that thought away. Nah, I wouldn't bet on that. I mean, who could resist my million-dollar smile and this delicious body that made every woman melt? No other woman would miss the opportunity of being with a prince, a hot prince that is. And speaking of being with a prince, oh man, last night had been a complete disaster. That slut hadn't been able to keep her trap shut!
Why did I ask her to go out? Easy, to make Violet jealous.
And did that work out the way you wanted?
No, not exactly. I wanted her to kiss me in front of Giovanni so I could show him "who's the man", but unfortunately she hadn't. My thoughts went to how Violet had looked last night. Her soft skin that I wanted to caress so badly. Those full red lips that I wanted to ravish. And those slender long legs that I wanted to touch and spread apart-
"Okay Eros, that's enough. I don't wanna hear anything related to you, Violet and a bed got that?" My eyes went to Remus and I smirked. Poor guy looked as pale as ever, and he heard my thoughts it made him look even worse.
"Well, you're going to hear a lot of those if you keep on reading my mind." I put my ear-phones away and smiled sickly which made him flinch. Did I look that bad when I smiled? Nope, not a chance. Women paid money so they could see my face. Remus rolled his eyes and sighed.
"You better drop that ego of yours if you wanna win Violet's heart." He pointed out.
"Not happening man."
The idiot shrugged none coherently and looked at the floor. What was up with him, he was acting strange lately. He wasn't himself.
Then ask him what the hell is he thinking of, for fuck's sake!

Right, right. I should.
"So, what's wrong?"
"What do you mean?" I rolled my eyes, got up and stared down at him.
"One, you've been acting strange. Two, I understand you're pale but not this much. No offence man, but you look like a heartbroken puppy." It was now his turn to glare.
"Take that back Eros." I knew he was being serious but I wanted to play with him. I bit back a grin and crossed my arms.
"No." I was expecting Remus to at least reply but all he did was sigh and rub his temples. Okay, something was definitely wrong. The normal Remus would have growled and started chasing me around, wanting my head on a platter but this...
"Spit it out Rem. I know something is out of place so you better talk or I'll make you." I glared at him. If he didn't talk, he would have another thing coming at him.
"Well,... I met a girl." I shook my head chuckling. Was he kidding me? All of this for a girl. I seriously thought that one of his family members had died!
"Are you serious?" My voice echoed through the room. I wanted to laugh but the sharp look I got from Remus told me otherwise.
"Okay, sorry. You can talk now." I tried to keep my voice serious but failed... terribly. Remus ignored my comment and rubbed his neck.
"You see, I was at Starbucks yesterday with Bryson. He dared me to flirt with a cherry haired chick. Long story short, I ended up being slapped." I couldn't help but laugh.
"I wish I was there to see you getting bitch slapped by a girl." Another wave of laughter hit me. From the corner of my eyes, I could see Rem rolling his eyes.
"Are you done with your laughing festival yet?" He demanded, annoyance was clear on his features.
"Yes, yes I am." I coughed, trying to hide my laughter, but the smile was still on my face.
"So what did you do, you know, after that chick made your man pride go downhill?" I snickered.
"Ha-ha, not funny Eros." He played with his skull shaped pendant. For a few minutes neither of us said a thing. "But there's something in this girl that intrigues me, maybe her deep sea blue eyes." He rubbed his chin while he was looking at the ground.
"Or maybe it's the fact that she slapped you and didn't regret it." I shrugged.
"Shut up." The idiot snapped. I stared at him amused, that girl had him wrapped around her finger already. I shook my head chuckling.

"Come on."
"Where to?" I looked back at Remus with a smirk on my face.
"I want to meet the girl."
Violet's P.O.V. (Later on that day.)
I glared at Claudia from the corner of my eyes but she was too busy talking on her phone. Sighing, I stared at the ground defeated; guess there is no way out of this.I looked around Claudia's dorm, neat and tidy as usual. Each of us was standing on a white circular podium so the dressmaker could take our measurements.
I raised my arms so the dressmaker took my measurements. She already took measurements for my hips, bust, and waist and was now measuring my forbidden part. It was really embarrassing for someone to take measure of your... uh, chest.
The reason behind this was tomorrow's ball. Of course, Claudia went nuts saying that it's too early and the rumbling went on. Me, on the other hand was cursing my uncle for even making a ball in the first place.
"Mom says that she'll be in the witch kingdom tomorrow." Claudia's voice snapped me out of my reverie. I stared at her in confusion.
Huh?
A grin quickly spread on her face.
"Princess, can you please stay still." The dressmaker who was taking her measurements asked. I caught a little hint of frustration in her voice and chuckled. Claudia rolled her eyes but did as she was asked.
"Well I was talking to my mom." She said in a sing song. I raised an eyebrow telling her to continue.
"And she told me-" Before she continued, someone slammed the door open which caused us to stare at the person at the door.
"Has anyone seen the keys of my car?" Eros's voice echoed throughout the room. He was standing there, his shirt in his hands making his edible six packs visible. His hair was wet indicating that he had just had a shower. His blue jeans hung dangerously low on his hips and I tried my hardest to keep my eyes away from his chiseled bone ready to show. All eyes were on Eros. Every maid in the room was staring at him with a lustful eye. They were practically eye-raping him.
An unfamiliar feeling ran over me, was it jealousy?
I didn't realize that I was staring at Eros until Claudia nudged me. I shook my head and looked at her with an apologetic smile on my face.
"Sorry, was in my own world."
"I noticed." She muttered dryly then looked at Eros.
"Can't you possibly wear a shirt?" Claudia asked, her eyes trailing over his body.
"No, not really." He smirked.
"Princess, these are the fabrics." The dress designer, or as she told us to call her Annie, had five of the most beautiful fabrics I had ever seen in her hands.
"I don't know what to choose." I muttered looking at them, still mesmerized by their beauty.
"I advise you to go with the violet silk, it will look good on you." Goosebumps exploded along my arms and legs as Eros whispered in my ear while he pressed his chest to my back.
"And it would show off that sinful body of yours." His murmured lowly so no one would hear him. His hot breath sent shivers down my spine.
"I agree with Prince Eros, Violet. The color of this dress will look amazing on you." Claudia was smirking as she looked at Eros and me. I glared at her, warning her not to open her mouth and surprisingly, she didn't. Well, that's odd but the oddest thing was that she called him 'prince'. I had never heard Claudia call any of the guys by their title. Sensing my confusion, Eros started explaining.
"She has to call me by my title in front of people out of respect. When you are officially announced as a princess, then all of us will start calling you princess Violet." And he did it again, made chills run down my spine. I gasped when he wrapped his hand around my waist and started caressing my lower hip.
Thank God no one was looking!
"Eros, what the hell are you doing?" I demanded, my voice low.
"What do you think I'm doing?," came his smart reply. I rolled my eyes and tried to take his hand off of me but he only held me tighter.
"Eros let go! What if someone sees us?"
"I don't care, I mean, you will be mine in the end Violet." I narrowed my eyes.
Will be mine? So I'm a possession now?
I ripped myself away from him, walking in Claudia's direction.
That nerve of him!
When Claudia saw my flushed face she raised her eyebrows but I just shook my head. Eros walked out of the room, his footsteps were fading with each step he took and I blew out a breath of relief. Even if I was mad with him, I couldn't help but smile.
I wondered how I was going to survive tomorrow.
