I'm pretty much your typical teenage girl. I read books, do good in school, have a few friends, and play a few sports (swimming, archery, theater if you consider it a sport). But there is one catch, I'm asexual. As far as I know, I'm still hetero-romantic. I have come out to literally everyone but my parents, even my sister. I found this out like a 2 AM realization. I don't like the idea of sex, I hate guys with their shirt off, and so much more. It all just kind of pieced together and now I am who I am. I accept myself for who I am, and all of my LGBTQ+ friends. But I get this from my older friends: "It's just a phase." "You just haven't met the right person yet." "You're too young." It's extremely annoying. Oh and I also get my friends trying to prove that I'm bi-romantic. Again, annoying. So pretty much, people just think I'm a special snowflake. But I love that I finally found who I am, even if people question it. And you know what, heck with the "special snowflake" stuff. If you can be queer, so can I. And let me tell you, when you finally figure out who you are, it's amazing.
