The first time I came out to my mom as Bisexual, she attempted to talk me out of it.

"Everyone has those feelings, Honey...we just aren't supposed to act on them. I remember when I was your age there was this pretty girl at my school, and I..."

She wouldn't let me speak, and pushed me back into the closet I'd come out of.

Later that same year, my family went though some financial issues and my mom lost her job. We lost our apartment because of it, and I had to ask around for a place to live. My first and only option was my best friend and semi crush. My mom was hesitant, and then randomly brought up my sexuality.

"Hey, didn't you have a crush on her? I can't let you live here if you have a crush on this girl."

"Mom, you're going to let my sexuality determine if I remain homeless or not? That's stupid!"

"Are you still pulling that bisexual crap?"

I stared at my mom and stayed silent.

"I asked you a question!"

I bit my lip and nodded slowly.

"Look, I forbid you from being bisexual or gay or whatever the *WOAH* you're trying to be. You can be anything but that."

I grabbed my stuff and bolted from the car.

I lived with my bestie for a bit, but I had to move out for reasons to remain unknown. I live with a different friend now, and she's really nice!

I'm still in the closet with my mom, but I'm hoping to come out to my brother soon enough!
