I came out to my friends in February. It just started while I was talking to one of them.

I told her I was pansexual and demigender, but since then I have discovered that I am demi-asexual and androgynous.

The morning after I told her, she had supported me, so I spoke to the rest of my friends at school. I told them, and they supported me.

At one of my friend's sleepovers, I told another one of my friends, who is FtM and asexual, that I was pansexual and demigender. He accepted me, and it was great.

A few months later, I decided to come out to my mom and dad.

I got up early to make pancakes and a card, and the pancakes failed because.. I suck at cooking.

After eating burnt pancakes, I gave my mom the card I had made. She had gone back to bed, since she wasn't feeling well. I put the card on her table, and a few minutes later, I heard her scream "What is this?!"

Later that day, both my parents came into my room and said "You're a girl, and you will always be one."

I wanted to wear a tuxedo to my middle school graduation, but me being my parents "little girl," I had to wear a pink dress and flats.

Since the day I came out to my parents, I haven't spoken to them about my gender or sexuality.

I cut my hair up to my chin, and I wear whatever I want, whenever I want. I can seriously go from wearing skinny jeans to basketball shorts in a few hours. I wear loose or oversized shirts.

I've got 16 people who support me for who I am, and two who don't. To me, that's my milestone.

At school, or with friends, I'm me, the real Tiffany who I know. At home, I'm still me, but I have to be a bit more quiet.

Oh, and some advice. Make sure you come out when you're 100% ready. I came out to my friends when I was sure I could do it, and it worked out. As for my parents, not that much. Make sure you have a back up plan or a safe place to stay, just in case your parents don't accept you and attempt to kick you out if you're a minor.
