Imam Hussain (as) said,

"On the day of Resurrection, three groups will be held responsible for an oppression committed: those who committed the oppression, those who were able to stand up against the oppression and yet didn’t stand up, and those who suffered the oppression while they had the ability to resist and struggle against the oppressors."

It is not only oppressors who are going to be held responsible! There are people who spread false information or teach others some bad & inappropriate things; they are also going to be questioned & even punished. It is not right for anyone to affect people with their evil actions or deceive them.

For example, a man openly commits a crime which no one has ever done before. He shamelessly talks about it with others & the news of it eventually spreads out amongst people. Then another person learns about that crime & does the same. Then more people become interested in it and want to the same. This man will be severely punished (If he doesn't beg for forgiveness to Allah before his death) and will be held responsible for his actions.

Another example, a person spreads false Islamic Information which orders to do a certain thing that is wrong. Some people might get deceived due to their lack of knowledge and actually believe such things. They might also teach others to do the same. That person will surely face the wrath of Allah (swt) (If they don't beg for forgiveness before their death) and will get punished on the day of Resurrection.

The topic discussed above is more in depth than what I've written so far. It is a very important thing to keep in mind & pay attention to it. It can be as simple as swearing in front of a young child. He/she might quickly learn the word and continue to say it! How bad is that?
