✦⋆· Prophet Ibrahim (as), when the time of his death became close, said to Allah (swt), "Why didn't you send

a herald to inform me of death so I could get ready for it?"

The response that he got was, "Don't you know that white hair is my herald?"

✦⋆· Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w): "When any of you dies, his Resurrection has started; and he sees what good and bad he has [accumulated].

●○ "The grave of human beings is the first residence from amongst the residences of their Hereafter."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Those who remember their death continuously will close their eyes on sins and whim."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Commit less sins so that dying will be easy for you."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Most deaths occurs between the ages of sixty and seventy.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "There are two things that humans find regretful and unpleasant: One is death, while death is comfort and ease from misfortunes for Believers, the other one is less wealth, while having less wealth means less calculation of it."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "One day, when Prophet Isa (as) was passing by a grave he noticed that the deceased was going through punishment!

Next year, when he happened to pass by the same grave again, there was no sign of punishment.

He asked Allah (swt), the reason? The response that he received was, "The deceased had a righteous son who created a way for people and took care of an orphan, and because of that son Allah forgave his father."

●○ "Increase the remembrance of the demolisher of desires."

He was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the demolisher of desires?"

He said, "Death, for the most sagacious of believers are those who remember death the most and are the most prepared for it."

●○ "Increase your remembrance of death, for any servant who increases their remembrance, Allah will revive his heart and ease death for him."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Whoever anticipates death will hasten to do good deeds."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "The least tension of death is like a hundred strike of a sword."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Sudden death is an aggressive way of losing one's life."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Sudden death for the Believer is a source of comfort and for the sinners an aggressive way of losing their life.

And for the disbeliever, it causes them regret and hesitation."

●○ "Prophet Dawud (as) passed away on a Sunday through sudden death. Then, the birds with their wings created a shadow on top of him.

Prophet Musa (as) also passed away in the dessert of barhot. Then someone from the sky raised their voice and said, 'Musa (as) passed away and who is it that won't die?!'

●○ "When a Believer passes away, the graveyards will become bright and beautiful because of their death. There is not an inch of the sand of the graveyard that doesn't wish they could hold the body of the Believer.

When a disbeliever passes away, the graveyards will become dark because of their death. And there is not an inch of the sand of the graveyard that seeks protection from Allah (swt) from holding the body of the disbeliever.

●○ "The easiest death, is like a thorn stuck in between wool. Is the thorn going to come out of the wool without having some wool stuck to it?!"

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "If the animals were to know of death what you know. You would never be eating a fleshy animal."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "No one from amongst you should ever wish death upon themselves because of the pains and difficulties coming their way.

If you're forced to such degree then say: O Allah! Until life is better for me, keep me alive, and if death is better for me, then take my life."

●○ "Don't wish for death, because with death, the sequence of deeds gets cut and Humans can't return to make up for their bad deeds and make Allah (swt) pleased."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Don't wish for death because the fright and difficulties of Judgement day is intense and its fortunate for a Servant to have their lifespan increases and Allah to grant them the opportunity of repentance.

Also, one doesn't know what they have sent beforehand."

●○ "Don't wish for death unless you have confidence in your deeds."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ Prophet Muhammad (saw) went to visit Abbas, he was groaning in pain and wishing death upon himself.

He (saw) said to him, "O Abbas! O uncle of Prophet of Allah (saw)! Don't wish for death.

If you're a good person then your good deeds increases and this is better for you, and if you're a bad person and there's a delay for your death, you'll stop your bad deeds and this is better for you. Never wish for death."

●○ "O Sa'ad, are you wishing for death in my presence?

If you're created for fire and fire for you. In this case, fire is not something to hurry towards it.

And if you're created for Paradise and Paradise for you. Then if your lifespan increases and you do good deeds, this is better for you."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "There are two types of human beings: one whom with their death becomes comfortable themselves, and the other one, with their death, relieves other human beings from themselves.

The one who'll be relieved and comfortable when they pass away is the Believer who'll be free from the difficulties and troubles of this world.

The one who'll relieve others from themselves is the unbeliever that when they pass away, all the trees, animals, and many humans will be safe from their evil."

●○ "Build you world, and work for your Hereafter in a way as if you're going to die tomorrow."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "The one who is waiting for death will work hard in doing good deeds."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Whoever passes away with any characteristics and deeds, Allah will rise him/her while they're in that condition."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Remember death a lot, there is no Servant of Allah (swt) who didn't remember death a lot unless Allah (swt) brightened their heart and made death easy for them."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Remember death a lot because it'll remove the thoughts of everything else for you."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Send your properties beforehand so joining them will make you happy."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ A man asked Prophet Muhammad (saw),

'Why do I dislike death?'

Prophet (saw) replied,

"Do you have properties and wealth? send your wealth beforehand, because humans are attached to their possessions. If they send it beforehand, they would like to reach it. And if they leave it, they want to stay with it."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Prophet Muhammad (saw) in his advice to a man said, "Lower your wishes so that it becomes bearable for you to withstand not having them. And reduce your sins so that death becomes easy for you."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ Someone narrated, "When the Prophet of Allah (saw) passed by a group of people who were laughing said, "Remember the destroyer of happiness/pleasures. I guess he said, 'No one remembered death in the middle of troubles and difficulties unless it became easy for them. Also, no one remembered death when their life was filled with comfort and pleasures unless it made life tight for them."

●○ "The one who'll be comfortable when they pass away is the one who is forgiven," Prophet Muhammad (saw) said this as a response to someone who said, 'They passed away and became comfortable.'

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "When a Believer is passing away, the Angel of death will stand facing them like a humiliated servant before its master. The Angel will stand with its companions and will not get close to them, until they greet the Believer and give them the promise of Paradise."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ Prophet Muhammad (saw), saw Angel of death present at the scene of a dying man and said to him, "O Angel of death, be kind to my Sahabi, he is a Believer.

The Angel of death replied, "Have a peaceful mind and don't let any sadness bother you and know that I'm tolerant towards every Believer.

O Muhammad (saw)! Know that I take the soul of children of Adam (as), and when a member of their family screams in pain, with the soul that I have taken, I stand in their house and say,

'What kind of scream is this? By Allah, we haven't been cruel towards them, and haven't come earlier than the time of their death, haven't come to them earlier than their destiny that is death, and we haven't committed any sins by taking their soul.

If you are content with what Allah has done, you'll be rewarded and if you are not content and sad with what Allah wants, you'll become sinners."

●○ "The first things that Believers get promised is comfort, ease and a Paradise full of blessings.

The first words said to them will be, 'I have good news for you, O Servant of Allah (swt), that Allah is pleased with you and Paradise is awaiting you. You are very welcomed. Allah forgave those who carried your corpse to the grave and accepted the prayers of those who begged for forgiveness for you and accepted the testimony of those who said you were a good person."

●○ "The Shi'as who love us the most, their death is like drinking a pleasant cold water that any of you drink during summer and the rest of them pass away comfortably that any of you would be envious of such comfortable death, a death that will brighten their eyes."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Whenever a Believer passes away, their body parts will say farewell to each other, 'Goodbye until Judgement day we will be separated from each other until that day."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "If anyone is an enemy of our friends, and friends of our enemies. And give themselves the title of those who are our opposers.

When the Angel of death comes to take their soul. Allah (swt) will show that miserable person, the lords they used to worship instead of Allah, while they're being punished with different types of punishments.

In a way that the person seeing them will suffer greatly. They will also feel the heat of their punishment that is unbearable for them and they can't stand it.

Then, the Angel of death will say to them, 'You! The wicked Disbeliever (Kafir), left the friends of Allah (swt) and gave them up for their enemies! Today, they can't even do least for you and you have nowhere to run to.'

Then, they'll receive such a punishment that if a little bit of that were to be divided amongst people living on earth, it would destroy all of them."

●○ "The one who passed away and became comfortable is not dead. But the one who's truly dead is the one who's dead amongst those who are alive."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "The ignorant is a deceased amongst the people who are alive."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "O Servants of Allah!

Be afraid of death and its difficulties and gain provisions for your Hereafter.

Know that death will come to you with one of these two big things: One With a good that there's no bad with it or with a bad that there's no good with it.

There's no one that when their soul gets separated from their body doesn't know which place they would go to, Paradise or Hell.

If they're a friend of Allah (swt), the doors of Paradise will be opened for them and its paths opened for them. And they will see what Allah (swt) has prepared for them. They'll be free from any works and every heavy burdens lifted off their shoulders.

And If they're an enemy of Allah (swt), the doors of Hell will be opened for them and its paths opened for them. They will see what Allah (swt) has prepared for them.

They will face any unpleasantness and leave any happiness and joy.

All of these will happen at the time of death and at the specific time, will lead to one of these two paths.

Allah (swt) says, "All those who lived a righteous and clean lives, at the time of death when Angels come to take their soul, will say to them, "Greetings to you! Because of the things you did, enter Paradise.

And for those whose been cruel to themselves, when the Angels are taking their soul, they'll surrender and say to the Angels, 'We didn't do any bad deeds.'

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Three things will follow the deceased: their family, their wealth and their deeds. Two of them will return and one will stay. Their family and wealth will return and their deeds will stay."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "These are deeds of the Believer that whichever one of them they do, their rewards will be given to them even after their death:

-A knowledge that they teach and publish,

-leaving behind a religious text as inheritance,

-building a mosque,

-building a place for the travellers,

-digging and building a creek/stream,

-a charity that when they were alive and well, they gave away from their possession.

-A man who leaves behind a righteous child who prays for them."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "There are people that even after death, the rewards of their deeds will be given to them:

1. A man that while guarding the border during Jihad in the path of Allah (swt) passed away.

2. A man who taught knowledge and When people follow that knowledge, their rewards will be given to them.

3. A man who gave charity and when the good effects of that charity is in place and being used, they'll receive rewards.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Amongst the signs of Judgement day becoming closer is prevalence of paralysis and sudden death."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Humans beings since Allah (swt) created them have not come across something more difficult than death. Even so, in comparison to what's about to happen after death, death is easier."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "There is no deceased that once they're put in their coffin and people take 3 steps except with a voice that whoever Allah (swt) wants will hear, says:

'O brothers! O the carriers of the coffin! Be aware so that the world doesn't deceive you like me! And the time doesn't fool you like me!

I left properties and wealth for my family. But they won't carry the burden of my sins for me and you're burying me, then you'll leave me too. And Allah Almighty will judge me."

●○ When Prophet (saw) watched some people carrying the body in a way that it was going up and down and moving around said, "Keep calm! walk slowly with the deceased's body."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Keep calm and have solemnity. Walk slowly with your deceased's body."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Whoever passes away at the beginning of the day, they shouldn't be spending it anywhere other than their grave when the midday of that day arrives.

And if they pass away during noon, they shouldn't be anywhere other than their grave when the night time has arrived."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "When any of you passes away, don't keep their bodies and immediately bury them. And above their head read the beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah, and below their feet recite the ending of Surah Al-Baqarah."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Don't bury the deceased at night unless you have no choice."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "O Abu Zar, when you're walking behind any deceased during their burial ceremony, your mind should be filled with thoughtfulness and humility towards it and know that you will also be joining them."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "The best people who're helping or attending the burial ceremony are those who remember Allah (swt), death and after death a lot.

And those who don't sit until the body has been put in the grave.

And the people who get the complete rewards are those who for three times, fill their firsts with the sand and pour it in the grave."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ It's been narrated that, "Whenever Prophet Muhammad (saw) walked behind the deceased during the burial ceremony, he would be filled with sadness. He would breath more and talk less."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━

●○ "Be present next to those of you who are dying and help them to say the words:

"La ilaha illallah"

There is no God worthy of worship except Allah.

And give them the promise of Paradise, because even patient Muslim men and women will be confused in this situation and Shaytan will be closed to them more then ever during this time.

Seeing the Angel of death is harder than 1000 strike of a sword. No Servant will leave this world unless every one of their veins will feel pain."

●○ Someone asked Prophet Muhammad (saw), Is there anyone who's going to be resurrected with the Martyrs?

He (saw) replied, "Yes, Those who remember death days and nights for 20 times."

●○ "Reading Surah Al-Mulk next to the grave of a deceased is going to become their source of salvation from the punishment of the grave."
