Imam Ali (as) said, "Recommended prayers cannot attain the pleasures of Allah for you when obligatory prayers are left unattended."

Let's keep the saying above in mind before any recommended/beneficial prayers.

Bridge of Siraat

Prophet (saw) said, 'whoever on Friday night between Maghrib and Isha prayers perform, 12 raka'at (6 raka'at, 6 raka'at. You do it this way: 2 raka'at 2 raka'at not 12 raka'at as whole). In every raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Al Ikhlas for 40 times.

I will meet them on the bridge of Siraat.' When it's a difficult time for all humans since they get questioned regarding their deeds etc.

Protection of Wealth, Faith, In this world & Hereafther

Prophet (saw) said, 'whoever, On Friday night between Maghrib & Isha prayers perform 20 raka'at and in every raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Al Ikhlas for 11 times. Allah will protect their wealth, faith, in this world and Hereafther.'

Another Beneficial prayer between Maghrib & Isha prayers

Prophet (saw) said, 'whoever performs 2 raka'at between Maghrib & Isha prayers . For the first raka'at after Surah al Fatiha recite Surah Az-Zalzalah for 13 times and for the second raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Al Ikhlas for 15 times every night. No one except Allah (swt) can count its rewards and they'll be in Paradise with me. If you read it every Fridays, you'll be counted as a sincere Servant of Allah.

Special Salat before Friday noon

Prophet (saw) said, 'whoever performs 4 raka'at on Friday before noon. In every raka'at after Surah Al Fatiha read Ayat alkursi & Surah Al Ikhlas for 15 times. When they finish, for 70 times say:

(استغفر اللّه ربى و اتوب اليه )

After that for 50 times say:

(لا حول و لا قوه الا باللّه )

Then for 50 times say:

(لا اله الا اللّه وحده لا شريك له )

Lastly for 50 times say:

(صلى اللّه على النبى الامى و آله )

Whoever does this prayer, Allah will save them from Hell fire, accept their prayer, make their wishes come true. Forgive their sins as well as both of their parents. Allah (swt) will write the reward of Hajj for them & create a city in Paradise for them. And grant them the rewards of those who prayed alongside Prophets (as) in mosques.

Special Salat for two wings

Prophet (saw) said,'whoever on Friday performs 4 raka'at. In every raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Al Ikhlas for 51 times and then read Ayat alkursi for for 50 times. Allah (swt) will grant them two wings in Hereafter so they can fly over Bridge of Siraat, in Paradise and wherever they want.'

Purifying from sins

Imam Sadiq (as) said, 'whoever performs 4 raka'at (divide it into 2 raka'at, 2 raka'at). In every raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Al Ikhlas for 50 times. And when they finish say,

اللهم صل على النبى العربى و آله

Their sins will be forgiven & their wishes will come true.'

There are many hadiths that recommended this prayer to be done on Friday & Friday night. It's been said that whoever perform this 4 raka'at. Their past and future sins will be forgiven. The rewards of reading the entire holy Quran for 12 times will be granted to them. They'll be safe from thirst and hunger on Judgement Day.

Salat of Ja'far Tayyar (brother of Imam Ali (as)

This Salat is among the prayers that are greatly emphasized and it is famous among all sects. It was a gift of love bestowed by the Holy Prophet ( saw) to his cousin upon his return from the journey.

Imam Sadiq (as) said, 'on the day of the conquest of Khyber when Jafar returned from Abyssinia, the Holy Prophet (saw) asked, "Do you want a reward? Do you want a gift?" Hazrat Jafar replied, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah?" The Messenger of Allah (saw) said,"I am giving you something that if you perform it everyday it would better than all those things that are present in the world. And if you perform it once in two days the almighty will forgive the sins of both these days and if you perform it every Friday or every month or every year the Almighty will forgive all the sins committed in between."

The best time to perform it is on Friday before noon.

Protection against all living Creatures

It has been narrated that whoever on Friday night perform 2 raka'at and in every raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Az-Zalzalah for 10 times. And after finishing their prayer say,

(يا حى يا قيوم يا ذالجلال و الاكرام )

They'll be safe from all living creatures and will not receive any harm from them.

Mother's Salat for her sick son

In Sahuyef al a'amul book, It's been narrated that Imam Sadiq went to visit a sick man. He was extremely ill and on the verge of death. Imam (as) saw his mother crying while sitting next to his bed. He said to her, O mother, do wudu and perform 2 raka'at and in Sujud say:

(اللهم انت وهبته لى و لم يك شيئا فهبه لى هبه جديده )

When the woman did this prayer, her son became well. In a way that he was able to sit next to his mother and eat his lunch with her.

Salat for blind eyes

Imam Sadiq (as) said, 'a blind person was walking in front of Messenger of Allah. He (saw) said to him, do you want Allah (swt) to heal your eyes.

He replied, yes. Prophet (saw) said, do a complete wudu and perform 2 raka'at and then say:

اللهم انى اسئلك و ارغب اليك و اتوجه بنيك نبى الرحمه يا محمد انى توجه بك الى اللّه ربى و ربك ان ترد على بصرى .

The man left to do that.

Prophet (saw) was still sitting in his place, when he saw the man coming back to him. Both of his eyes had healed and he could see.

For any wish/need

On Thursday perform 4 raka'at

(Divide it into 2 raka'at, 2 raka'at). For the first raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Al Ikhlas for 11 times. For the second raka'at after Surah al Fatiha read Surah Al Ikhlas for 21 times. And after Salam read Surah Al Ikhlas for 51 times and salawat for 51 times. Then go to sujud and say یا الله for 100 times.

After that talk to Allah (swt) about what you need/ want. After that perform 4 raka'at like your daily Dhuhr prayer and don't forget Tasbih Hazrat Fatimah (sa) at the end.

For any important wish & need

Its been narrated that whenever you have a very important wish that you want Allah (swt) to grant for you so much that your chest feels tight & your heart becomes heavy. Then perform 2 raka'at and after salam, say takbir for 3 times which is raising both of your hands up to your ears and saying Allahu Akbar. Then say Tasbih Hazrat Fatimah (sa). Then go to Sujud and for 100 times say:

(يا مولاتى يا فاطمه اغيثينى )

Then put the right side of your face on ground and say this for 100 times. Then the left side of your face. Then again go to Sujud and say this for 110 times. After that talk to Allah about your wish and need.

Special Salats for each week day

Friday

Regarding the prayer for Friday evening the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a) said: If one recites two rakat prayers and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Tawheed 70 times and after the prayer recites Astaghfirullaah 70 times, then by the One Who has sent me with truth anyone who performs this act and does Isteghfar (repentance) even if he supplicates for my whole nation the Almighty would accept his supplication and would enter the whole nation in Paradise.

Salaat 2 for Friday

It is related from Amirul Mo-mineen (a.s.) that one who recites this day eight-rakat prayer in the forenoon the Almighty elevates him a thousand levels in Paradise.

The prayer for Friday is four rakats. In each rakat after Surah Hamd recite Ayatul Kursi 15 times and after the prayers recite Astaghfirullaah 70 times and 'Laa hawla wala Quwwata illa billa '50 times.

Salaat 3 for Friday

It is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who recites four rakats prayer on Friday and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Mulk and Surah Ha Mim the Almighty would admit him into Paradise and would accept his intercession for his family members and keep him safe from the squeeze of the grave and the punishment of Qiyamat.

The narrator asked the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) regarding the time of these prayers. He (s.a.w.s.) replied: After sunrise and before noon. That is in between the two.

We should know that all these prayers for the days of the week are narrated from Imam Hasan al-Askari (a.s.) and he has quoted from his forefathers.

Prayer for Saturday evening 1

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said:

One who recites four rakat prayers on Saturday evening and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Tawheed seven times, each rakat of this prayer has the reward of 700 Hasana and the Almighty shall give him a city in Paradise.

Prayer for Saturday 2

Sayyid Ibne Tawoos has related from Hazrat Imam Hasan al-Askari (a.s.) that he quoted his forefathers that one who prays four rakats prayer on Saturday and in each rakat he recites Surah Hamd, Surah Tawheed and Ayatul Kursi, the Almighty writes for him the grade of the prophets, the martyrs and the righteous. That is he shall be with them in Paradise and they shall be his best friends.

Prayer for Saturday 3

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said:

One who recites four rakat prayers on Saturday and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Kafiroon thrice and after the prayer recites Ayatul Kursi once, then in exchange for each letter the Almighty rewards him with the reward of a martyr.

Prayer for Sunday Evening

It has come in traditions that one should recite six rakats prayers on Sunday evening and in each rakat after Surah Hamd he should recite Surah Tawheed seven times. There is inestimable reward for this prayer.

Prayer for Sunday 1

It is mentioned in traditions that on Sunday when sun has reached some height (late morning) one should pray two rakat prayers. In the first rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Kauther thrice and in the second rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Tawheed thrice. If one recites this prayer he is free from hellfire and purified of hypocrisy. There is great reward for this prayer.

Prayer for Sunday 2

It is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who offers four rakats prayer on Sunday, and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Mulk once the Almighty will give him a place of his choice in Paradise.

Prayer for Monday evening

It is of two rakats. In each rakat after Surah Hamd recite Ayatul Kursi, Surah Tawheed, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas once each and after the prayer recite Isteghfar 10 times. The reward of this prayer equals 10 Hajjs and Umrahs.

Prayer for Monday 1

It is four rakats. In the first rakat after Surah Hamd recite Ayatul Kursi once. In the second rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Tawheed once. In the third rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Falaq once. In the fourth rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Naas once. Then after completing the prayer recite Isteghfar 10 times.

Prayer for Monday 2

This prayer is also narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who recites ten rakats prayer on Monday and in every rakat recites Surah Hamd and Surah Tawheed 10 times each the Almighty Allah will appoint for him such a light on the day of Qiyamat that it would illuminate his place till all the creatures view him.

Prayer for Tuesday evening

The prayer for this evening is two rakats. In the first rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Qadr once. In the second rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Tawheed seven times.

Prayer for Tuesday 1

The prayer for this day is two rakats. In every rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Teen, Surah Tawheed, Surah Falaq and Surah Nass once each.

Prayer for Tuesday 2

This prayer is also narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who recites six rakats prayer on Tuesday and in every rakat after Surah Hamd recites (last 2 verses of Sura 2) the ayat of Aamannar Rasool... till the end of Surah Baqarah and Surah Zilzaal once the Almighty would forgive his sins. And would purify him from sins like when he was born.

Prayer for Wednesday evening

The prayer for this evening is two rakats. In every rakat after Surah Hamd recite Ayatul Kursi, Surah Qadr and Surah Nasr once each and Surah Tawheed thrice. The Almighty Allah forgives all the sins of the person who recites this prayer.

Prayer for Wednesday 1

The prayer for this day is two rakats. In every rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Zilzaal once and Surah Tawheed thrice. For one who recites this prayer the Almighty removes the darkness from his grave till Qiyamat.

Prayer for Wednesday 2

It is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who recites four rakats prayer on Wednesday and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Tawheed and Surah Qadr once the Almighty would accept his repentance, forgive all his sins and marry him to the houries of Paradise.

Salaat 1 for Thursday evening

The prayer for this eve is six rakats. In every rakat after Surah Hamd recite Ayatul Kursi and Surah Kafiroon once each and Surah Tawheed thrice.

After the prayers recite Ayatul Kursi thrice. For one who recites this prayer the Almighty Allah appoints an angel to purify his sins who purifies his sins and in their place writes good fortune and bestows him whatever he desires.

Salaat 2 for Thursday

It is two rakats. In every rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Nasr and Surah Kauther five times each and after Asr recite Surah Tawheed 40 times and Isteghfar 40 times. There is an inestimable reward for this.

Salaat 3 for Thursday

It is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) that one who recites ten rakats prayer on Thursday and in each rakat recites Surah Hamd and Surah Tawheed ten times each the angels will tell him: Ask whatever you want and it shall be fulfilled.
