Realising who you are can be difficult, but not impossible. I only learned this recently. I began to write one of my new books, "The Odd One Out 《LGBTQ+》" and when my parents found out they were really mad at me. The point of the book was for me to try and get my story out there with how I think and feel about realising my sexuality; bisexual.

My parents (although mainly my dad) are extremely homophobic. They didn't support the idea of two girls together and therefore I tried to hide my new relationship from them. Getting a girlfriend was amazing for me, and it's my first relationship. I still don't know if my dad's found out yet, I asked my mum if she'd break the news to him to save me doing it. I'm terrified of how he'll react but I know that I have people around me that are going through the same thing, making me feel more comfortable. And i know they'll help me, and I hope that I'll help them and anyone else who needs it. This has been a complicated time and I just want everyone to know that if you stay strong you can get through it.
