I'm Aly, and I happen to be a lesbian. I'm also, sadly, a hopeless romantic that falls in love with people she can't have.

For example, my best friend.

Her and I have gotten close over the past 3 years we've known each other. She's adorable, only 4"11 with big brown eyes and the most beautiful smile. It only took me a few months to realize I loved her.

My crush on her has lasted almost 2 and a half years. And I've told her countless times that I love her and how beautiful she was in every way. She was my silly, sarcastic, aggressive angel.

And I'm still madly in love with her. But I can't get over the fact that she's straight and really religious. And I don't know what to do about it. I've pretty much given up at this point.

Maybe I'll look for some help in the future, but I just don't know how to feel right now.

I do know one thing though, I know that I'll love her always. She's always been there for me and I'll continue to do the same, even if she can't feel the same attraction towards me. She's my best friend and the only one who will ever understand me.
