I don't know why but I felt that I should share this story as well.

So when I came out to my group, it was rather... extra on my part. I have a small group of friends, and I only tell one of them everything. However, 3 of them had already figured me out.

I had one of my friends who said she hated homosexuals, and at that moment, I didn't really like her anyways.

So around the time about 5 of my friends knew about my sexuality.

That one friend, who I will name Roylinda, found out at a game we had had at school, since I was messing around and pretended I was trying to get this girl on the other school's team.

I had been trying to keep it away from her, because she one of those people who can't keep their mouth shut when they hear any type of gossip.

But at that point, I didn't care anymore. No point of hiding it anymore.

Other than her, the rest of my friends took it pretty well.

The best friend I mentioned earlier, also took it pretty well, although he doesn't like talking about it because, he is very religious as well, even tho not as religious as a certain other person.

I have been contemplating on telling anyone in my family.

I have been tempted to tell the people I go to church with, but I don't think I ever will, since they also aren't very fond of the LGBTQ+ community.

However, I will always be thankful to the friends who accepted me for being real.

I was scared that when I came out, they would distance themselves away from me, but they all reassured me that they wouldn't, because at the end of the day, we're friends through and through.

And I will always love them for it. I'm thankful for them.

And someday, whether I have a straight or lesbian marriage, even if my family have completely abandoned me (which I pray doesn't happen), I will still have them. Or a few of them at least.

So that's why I say that
