I had a crush on this girl.

Of course she didn't know.

Let's just call her, Em.

Em was a tomboy. She could pretty much play any sport in the book. Football, basketball, tennis...well that's pretty much it.

She is super smart and pretty. She is one of the nicest people I've ever met. And her sense of humor is off the charts.

It was weird sometimes with her because she would always find some way to touch my leg or arm or something, but whether or not it was accidental, it still sent tingles through my arm.

I thought, maybe she could be gay. Maybe not.

I told my friend, Tea, and she said that I should tell her.

I told my other friend, Maddie, who also said that I should tell her.

Then I found out my other friend that I've known for years, Nina, is gay.

I decided to go to her for advice, since she liked a girl who doesn't like her back, but is still her friend (lucky).

"Why didn't you tell her? I told Niya (the girl she likes) and look at us now. We're still friends." Nina said, giving me, like, an ounce of confidence.

This all happened during the school year. But now it's summer break and I'm trying to tell her. But she never responds to her texts so r.i.p me.

So my advice is, when a thousand people tell you to tell the person you like that you like them, go for it.

It's easier to do in person, though.

Also, one more important piece of advice.

Always ask a person if they are gay or not. Don't just assume, even if you hear people talk about it. Just ask the actual person, not their friends or whatever.
