Hey, I am Nate. I was unsure if I wanted to tell my story on here or not, but I finally decided to man up and do it when I saw how many motivating stories were on here. So before I start, good job to everyone who wrote something. Onto my story.

I was raised in the ever so beautiful, ever so homophobic state of NC. I never really questioned my sexuality, as it never really seemed important to me. In first grade, two twins moved to my school, and I quickly became friends with him. Over time we grew much closer, and by 5th grade, we were inseparable. Near the end of 5th grade, we were sleeping over at his house, and I usually slept in his bed, probably should have been a realization for me, feeling safer and more comfortable being next to him in bed, but yet I didn't notice until one moment when he did a cute thing, (forgot, it has been so many years.) And at that moment, I was sure I was bisexual.

But, as time wore on, I realized that I didn't really like girls as much as guys. Now, as I go into high school, I identify as gay, though not really sure quite yet, as I feel also genderfluid, which is a newer thing for me. So clearly, I still need some time to know who I really am, but for now, I am comfortable with who I am.
