I never thought that being what I am was what most people call normal.

I thought that every boy was supposed to have a girlfriend and vice versa.

But then, something strange, something... odd, happened.

A new guy had moved to my city and was in my class. His name was Michael. We became best friends.

I. Had. Feelings. Like. Actual. Feelings.

The weeks passed, and we became inseparable. When I moved to a different city, he moved to a different city, and, of course, vice versa.

Finally, it was June, the LGBTQ-Plussiest month of the year. Also, school was out.

It's crazy because I'll never forget this date but, on June 2nd, Michael told me that he was also gay, in the park, on the bench (second to the right). We became a couple because he kissed me.

I. Had. A. Mental. Breakdown.

LGBTQ+ rights have been recognized in the states (except for the transgender bathroom controversy) so I have no Milestones.

Today, we are still together, living in a house that we rent ourselves, and still attend school.

I had always tried to had girlfriends but there never was a connection. *Why?*

I have always been judged but I don't care.
