I had my first crush on a straight girl.
She was really pretty, and I liked her, we would talk a lot and tell jokes, but when I found out I was lesbian and decided to come out to my friends they were happy about it. They accepted me. Now, the girl. I knew she was straight but she was just so darn cute! I had a really big crush on her, but my friends couldn't find out. Now after the whole school knew about, I told my other friend who my crush was. She promised not to tell the girl. Now, talking to friend #2, I told her I had a crush. She asked me if it was on a girl, and I said yes. She then proceeded to nag me on and on. Since the girl was a very good friend of hers I didn't want to tell. Well I decided to tell, and then friend #2 runs up to the girl. I proceed to smack friend #2 because I was scared she would find out. After a while of talking and close calls friend #2 suddenly blurts out: "Oh, Laney has a crush on you."
I then ran to the girls bathroom. I would have lost her as a friend if I didn't pretend it was a joke.
Well, there was my first crush. Embarrassing.

Please do not expect a straight up deconstruction beyond some in-universe meta-commentary by the characters.
