《Zyon: The Alpha Of The North》Chapter Twenty-Seven

It took me quite a bit of time to find my way back to Zyon's wing, but when I do, I find Lita and Rita in there as usual. They tell me they need to take my measurements for the gown for the marking ceremony tomorrow, and I mindlessly let them, focusing solely on the fact that I needed to speak to Zyon tonight. I couldn't delay the conversation I needed to have with him. If he marked me, there was no going back, but first I needed to speak to Zarah.
Just as Lita is exiting the room, I call out, "
I was expecting that I'd be denied, or she'd say that I wasn't allowed out of the Alpha's wing, but she nods, and asks me to follow her. I find Zarah in the pack grounds. She's sitting on the grass, reading a book. I walk up to her and sit down beside her. Her face snaps to look at me and I see the immediate relief that etches out onto her face. I give her a small smile.
I say with a shrug off my shoulders.
I look out at the pack grounds in front of us. A light breeze blows. Zarah pulls my hair away from my face.
I look at her tears welling up in my eyes.
I take in a deep breath, and turn my attention back to Zarah as she continues,
I nod. Zarah's words starting to make a lot more sense to me.
I see Zarah's eyes going wide.
I see Zarah bring her palm up to her forehead. And then she just bursts out laughing.
A smile stretches out across my face,
In between laughing fits, she says,
I roll my eyes.
She laughs.
I nod in understanding.
We spend the next hour talking about our old pack. She hadn't been in touch with anyone from back home. Controlling, possessive mate and all. After that, I get up to head inside and tell Zarah that I'll see her at dinner. I need to talk to Zyon preferably before dinner. So I need to find him, in this huge ass house and I know it would be a challenge.

I'm proved wrong though, because the guards and helpers around the house prove themselves very eager to help their Luna locate the Alpha. They're more than happy to and before I know it, I find myself standing outside two wooden doors.
I take a deep breath, subconsciously trying to prepare myself for what I'm about to do. The smell of rain invades my nose that sends shudders throughout my body.
I knock twice on the door and then enter. He's standing near his desk looking over some papers. His sleeves rolled up to his elbows, hair disheveled from him constantly pushing it back. He's surprised to see me, albeit a little shocked that I chose to seek him out.
I say.
He says. I can tell that I've made him curious. All I need to do now is tell him, but I'm afraid of how it will go down.
I'm now standing near the desk but on the opposite side to him. I need to be able to maintain distance to form coherent sentences and think straight.
He raises an eyebrow, and then says,
I feel goosebumps begin to arise on my arm, as I stare at him. I continue,
His eyes have begun to glow, his wolf beginning to come to the surface, as he smirks,
I feel myself beginning to grow exasperated. I feel my eyes grow wide. What did I just say? Aly Ross? I took her name. Now, he would know that I knew about his past, that I really was obsessed with him in high school.
I look up to see that he's taken a few steps closer to me. He asks with a raised eyebrow.
I don't respond and he takes a couple of steps closer, while I begin to take a few steps back.
I take a step towards the door, but he reaches out, grabbing my wrist.

He spits out.
"I say. If he can't understand, when I try to explain it to him politely, this is the only way that could actually work.
And with that he's pushed me onto the floor.
Before, I know it, he's on top of me, caging me in with his arms.
I say as I struggle to get out from under him, but underneath him, I can barely move.
He brings his lips down to mine. I attempt to angle my face away from him, but he just grasps it, moving it back to face him. He kisses me with a ferocity, I have never known before. But I don't respond. As much as I want to kiss him back, I know if I respond, my point would never get through. The smell of rain, the tingles on my body from where he touches me makes it excruciatingly hard.
When I don't respond, he grabs my breast, squeezing hard so I let out a gasp. He uses the excuse to shove his tounge into my mouth. Though I would like to play it off as involuntary, I couldn't and I begin to kiss him back. I know I'm getting lost in this. I know I'm not making my point, but if I was going to leave him, I just wanted to know what it felt like to kiss him without any inhibitions, without any one else's lives hanging in the balance. So I kissed him, ran my hands through his hair and down his arms, enjoying the feel of him.
While he's kissing me, I feel his hands move down to the button on my shorts. I break our kiss, and try to scramble up, but as always, he has my moves anticipated. He pushes his body down on mine, grabs both one of my wrists in one hand, and with the other undoes the button on my shorts and pulls down the zipper.
He looks directly at me, his eyes flickering gold. I know my lips are swollen and at this point, he's just taunting me, for not being able to hold my own. His slips his hand, inside my shorts, inside my underwear and begins to circle my clit. My body is on fire, wanting Zyon to do what he's about to do, but my mind is screaming at me to stop. So I push on his chest.
A smirk overtakes his face. and with that, he shoves his finger into me. My body lurches forward, as he begins to move his finger in and out between my folds.
I angle my face to the side, so he can't see me panting with need, but I let out breathless moans, even though I try to suppress them. He places little kisses along my neck, as his finger moves in and out of me, rhythmically.
He whispers into my ear, as I spasmed and clenched, my juices spilling out of me.
"He says, as he pulls up my zipper and rebuttons my shorts. He rolls off of me, smooths out his shirt, and says, "
And then he walks out, leaving me, a panting mess, on the floor.

An Unwavering Craftsman
Given the hereditary nature of classes, everyone expects Damien—the child of two high-tiered adventurers—to be granted a high-tier combat class of his own. Expectations are betrayed, however, when Damien finds himself instead saddled with a crafting class of the lowest possible tier: [Neophyte Tailor]. Left practically crippled compared to those with better classes, Damien wants to avoid becoming a pawn in the machinations of the nobility, desiring only to grind his level in peace while wondering why the usual rules of inheritance were broken. Was it his desire to excel by his own effort, rather than an unearned blessing from a god? Did the Five take offence at his opinions on the unfairness of hereditary classes? Or maybe it was something to do with the alien voice that intruded on his ceremony? A voice that offers great power, and freedom from the tyranny of the Five, but that never names its price. This story is litRPG-lite. While the class someone possesses controls most of their lives, people don't get dinged at for every level they gain, nor can they see their status without undergoing a special ritual. The MC has no romantic interest. Crafting is merely a way to game the system, and doesn't feature heavily in the story, aside from a few descriptions on how they're carrying out the system abuse. There is, on one unfortunate occasion, maths. The pace is quick. This was a participant in the Spring 2022 writathon. (i.e. it was posted as-written at high speed. I may give it another editing pass in the future.)
