《Mianite Season 1》Ianarea

Jordan's POV:
Come to me my hero....
We're almost out of time....
You must save me....
And defeat my brother....
Before it is too late....
"My lady?!!! Is that you??!" I cried, in the void of darkness that was my dreamscape.
Yes...
For a short time each day, I can send my limited power to you, in the form of my voice.
What do you plan to do as of tomorrow?
"My lady...we plan to venture out to your home town, ianarea, to hopefully revive your soul for a short time...skipper retrieved your heart from a secret passage in Dianites temple. Hopefully we can use it to bring you back..." I said to her.
Yes. That would be good. And this Tom fellow. You're sure we can trust him?
"I'm not sure...but if he gets out of line I'll deal with him..."
Then it shall be. Good luck my champion.
"Thank you my lady..."
Everything went dark once more, and then I woke, gasping for breath that I didn't think I had. I rubbed my eyes, before gazing at the calendar on my wall. Today's date was marked with a red circle, labelled #savemylady.
I groaned, worries and panicked thoughts entering my mind like the floodgates of bad thoughts had just opened for the first time in years. Standing wearily, I grabbed my clothes from my drawers, and headed into my bathroom to get changed.
Even after having a shower, the nerves still fluttered around inside me, like little poisonous butterflies. I shivered, the feeling of being watched crawling up my spine. Today, I was going to meet my lady for the first time, revive her with her heart, and find out how we're going to rescue her. It was nerve racking. What if she met me and thought I was weak? Or puny? The possibilities flooded my mind.
A vibration from the desk nearby shocked me back to reality. I peered over, and saw a red notification, meaning Tom sent me a message. I grabbed it, and read toms horrible sentence structure.
Hey! Boat now! We heading to da place in a few! Hurry ass you spoon!
I sighed, before walking out my front door. The cool crisp air greeted me, and I shoved my hands in my pockets. I strolled along the cobble path, trying to stall as much as I could. I tried fixing a few hedges on the way, but it was no use. My morals forbade me from being anything but early. I sighed, walking towards the boat. The white sails stuck out against the blue water surrounding it, and aboard I could see everyone else, except the one person I longed to see most.
A tear shed from my left eye, soon followed by another from my right, until a steady stream of tears flowed freely down my face. No emotion came with the tears, and I wiped them away with the sleeve of my jacket, leaving my eyes and face sticky. I came to the edge of the dock, and looked up at skipper, who was extending the ladder for me to climb aboard.

I leapt across, grasping the rung firmly with both hands. I reached up, grabbing the one above, and planting my feet on the bottom rung. Steadily, I climbed the wooden ladder, no splinters protruding from the smooth bars, thanks to tucker, Tom, and skippers handy work. Skipper extended a hand to me, which I took with my right hand. He hauled me onto the deck, and I steadied myself on the wooden boards.
Tom smiled at me from the bench across the deck, and Sonja gave me a look of sympathy, having noticed my slightly red face. I smiled back, glad to still have the friends I trusted most here with me. Twisted guy stood to skippers left, his face covered in oil and dust, so I assumed he had been working down below in the engine room.
"Howdy sparklez! Glad to have ye aboard!" He greeted me placing a dirty hand on my jacket shoulder.
I smiled, and he turned back to skipper, to engage in a conversation. I sighed and brushed off the dirt lying on my jacket.
Tucker walked over, and for the first time I noticed what he was wearing. A dark grey jacket, with golden tassels on the shoulders. Golden buttons lined the jacket, before parting to reveal a white undershirt. Brown pants and matching boots both shined, the leather fresh. A pirates outfit...
"Uhhh what are you wearing?" I asked him, to which he smiled proudly.
"He be my honourable first mate!" Skipper exclaimed.
"Riiight..." I said unsure.
"Shut up! I earned this coat!" Tucker protested.
I just backed away, joining Tom and Sonja on the bench.
"Right then! Are ye ready?!" Skipper asked.
"AYE AYE CAPTAIN!!!" We all shouted.
Since capsize passed, skipper had been dubbed by everyone, the new captain.
"Then set sail for the portal Earl!!!" He called out to the skull faced man at the wheel.
"Aye!" He replied, turning the wheel.
Suddenly the boat sprung to life, and turned away from the coast, towards a lone island about 300 metres out. Twisted guy had constructed the portal there. As the ship got closer, I could see the obsidian frame, and the magenta portal swirling about inside. This was unlike any portal I'd ever seen. Instead of being a standard rectangle, like nether portals, or a square, like end portals, this one was huge, about 300 blocks tall and wide. It was shaped to fit perfectly inside a rocky archway on the island, so it looked completely natural.
The boat sailed ever closer, to the point where I could see the small town on the other side of the magenta swirls. At last, the ship sailed through the portal, and I felt a tingle rush up my spine as it went through my body. We all emerged on the other side, and I sprang to my feet, before looking over the side of the boat, and out towards the small town floating on the ocean. As we got closer, I could see it. The destruction...

The town of ianarea was desolated. The small houses I thought I saw, were chunks of rubble leaning against burnt down trees. No life anywhere. Bridges were broken, and pathways were blown to pieces, which were scattered across the grass. The only thing left standing, was the shrine a small way off of the rest of the town. Left relatively unscathed, as if whoever destroyed the town felt a small hint of pity. I was so busy staring at the rubble, that I didn't realise we were anchored beside the broken dock. Skipper tied up the sails, and we all grabbed our things. I grabbed the heart, clutching it close to my chest.
It was difficult disembarking. The wooden planks hanging on by literally a single nail, weren't very stable. Go figure. I ended up jumping onto a wooden post, and leaping to a nearby cliff. I scaled the rocks, grazing my palms, until I eventually reached the grass hill with the others. Tom and tucker swam to shore, whilst Sonja, twisted, and skipper attempted the dock. They succeeded, surprisingly. Earl decided to stay aboard the ship, to keep watch, in case we needed to make a quick getaway. We met up at the start of the pathway, and decided to search the town, before heading over to the shrine.
I started at a small house sitting alone near the outskirts of the port. It was relatively unscathed, aside from a few holes in walls and roofs, and the door left hanging on its hinges. I cautiously walked up to the door, and squeezed through, avoiding the splinters of wood hanging off the door. Inside looked much worse than the outside, that I'll have to admit. Carpets were singed, windows were shattered, and furniture was torn apart and scattered across the floor. Pictures laid upside down on the floor, and chests sat crushed under debris. I noticed one small photo-frame at my feet, and I picked it up gently, turning it over in my hands. I gasped in shock when I saw the three figures standing together.
To the left was Dianite, but he looked much younger. He had a look of annoyance, as if he was being forced to stand there. His arms were crossed, and he had golden piercings and bracelets. To the right was Mianite, also youthful. He was smiling also, but the look of wisdom was there even in his younger age. However, the one that caught me off guard was the one standing in the middle, smiling. She had her arms around the others, as if she was the glue that held them together. Her long purple hair hung down to her dress, which was a darker purple, with golden accents and rings holding the pieces together. Her eyes were closed, and teeth were showing. She looked the happiest out of the three, and loving.
I knew at first glance that this was her. I hadn't ever seen her before, but she was breathtaking at first sight. I smiled sadly, realising that the happiness in her face probably doesn't exist now. The destruction in the town was evident of that. I heard someone calling my name, and I turned, seeing Tom calling for me to join the others. I slipped the note into my jacket pocket, and ran out to join the others at the end of a broken bridge. On the other side was the shrine. I took a step back, and jumped across the gap, landing on the other side without falter. The others all did the same, except Tom, who underestimated the distance, and fell into the water below.
We all laughed, as he climbed ashore, shivering and dripping wet. He extended his arms and tried to give tucker a hug, who, clutching his new suit, ran away screaming. I smiled. It felt good to be back together smiling and enjoying each others company. A few weeks ago this was completely different. Shows how far we've come. I'm actually really grateful to have such supportive friends. When I was down and upset, I'll admit I fell a bit out of line, and acted out. Sonja got offended, and yet she still cares about me and forgave me. I still don't think I deserved that forgiveness, but I'm glad for it. God I must sound like the most cheesy person in the world. I'd even put a mouse to shame. My brain is probably getting sick of my cheesy thoughts. Sorry brain.
We reached the entrance to the shrine, and I peered inside. There was a big throne sitting in the middle of the room, with an alter at the front, and a path leading up to it. Not much else very intriguing. I took out the heart, and looked at a small slot in front of the throne.
Taking a deep breath in, and glancing at my friends for support, I placed the heart intro he slot, and watched in awe, as it lit up the room in a golden glow. Purple sparks flew from the throne, and they slowly formed a shape. The shape moved and refined, until lady Ianite was standing on the throne in the end. Her eyelids fluttered open, and she gazed around the room in awe. Her purple orbs landed on me, and I stared back at her.
"My hero. You've found my heart. Thank you."
