Sonja's POV:

The raven-haired man standing before me...

I didn't recognise him...

Normally he was cheerful and curious...

Today however, all the joy in his body left him like a breath of air.

He just kept staring at the tombstone...

I can tell he wants her to come back with every fibre in his being. But even his genius mind knows it can't be done. I can see the sorrow practically encasing him. Like a dark veil threatening to overthrow his mind at any time. His tears were the only sounds that could be heard. The dripping sound as they left his face and fell onto the stone below, echoed throughout the graveyard.

No one dared make a sound, afraid that we would disturb him. Surprisingly, skipper was taking it a lot better compared to Jordan. Tears still shed, sorrow still radiated, but at least he gave us small gestures showing he was still him inside. Like the slight upwards turn of a smile, or the simple brush of a hand.

Jordan however, didn't show any of that. I knew him. He was probably thinking of how he could've saved her, even at this moment. The guilt in his eyes told me he blamed himself, and himself only. I couldn't bare to see him like this. I had to do something. Even just a few sympathetic words of reassurance. Something to tell him we were here for him.

I waltzed carefully to his side. He didn't give me any hint of notice.

"Jordan...I.....I know how hard you can be on yourself...but you can't blame yourself....it's not your fault...I know how you feel right now..." I said, one hand on his left shoulder.

"..."

I sighed. He's wasn't going to acknowledge me. I started to walk away.

"How..." he said.

"What?" I asked turning back.

"HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY KNOW HOW I FEEL!!!" He shouted, facing me angrily.

"I....I didn't..."

"YOU'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE YOU LOVED DIE IN FRONT OF YOU!!!" He yelled.

I was filled with anger.

What did I do to deserve this?!

"As a matter of fact. I have! My own boyfriend died in front of me!" I yelled back.

"Yeah but he came back!!!" He continued to yell in my face.

Tucker heard the yelling and ran over to me, holding me in his arms.

"Dude cool your jets! She was just trying to help!" He defended me.

Jordan clenched his fists and started walking away. He jumped onto his horse tied to a pole nearby.

"Jordan wait!" I called reaching for him.

He pulled his horse into a gallop, and started riding off towards his house.

I couldn't help but start crying. Tucker held me close and wiped my tears away, but I didn't stop feeling sad.

One of my best friends...

It felt like I just lost him...

Jordan's POV:

They'll never understand...

It's all my fault...

They don't know anything...

I could've saved her....

But I froze....

I couldn't do anything.....

They'll never understand....

How much pain I feel...

She was the only one who understood me....

I....

I loved her...

Tucker's POV:

He didn't have to blow up like that. We're his friends. Sonja was only trying to help...

I held my shaking wife in my arms. Her tears bled through onto my shirt, but I didn't mind.

"D-Did I do something wrong?..." Sonja whispered.

"No no you did nothing wrong...he was just....a bit upset that's all...." I said trying to comfort her.

I rubbed her back gently, and it seemed to calm her down a bit, because she stopped shaking.

The cold winter air blew through the graveyard, scattering tiny specs of frost on the tombstones. Capsizes name pounded in my head like a reminder. A reminder of how close I was to catching the killer. A reminder of how I could've made him pay...

I'd give anything to get revenge on Furia. For capsize. And for Jordan.

Sonja started shaking again, but it was more like a shiver from the increasing cold. The black lace cardigan wasn't helping her much on that front.

"Hey. Come on, let's go home and get warm. You wanna do that? I can get you some hot chocolate from the traders at the colosseum on the way if you want?" I asked her.

She nodded, head still buried in my chest.

"Ok."

I walked over to skipper, leading Sonja by the hand, feeling the guilt practically weighing me down.

"Hey skip...I'm really sorry about him..." I said grimly.

"Nar ye be all good Matey. Go and calm down yer lady there. I'll stay and spend some time with me sister. She be a bit lonely in this cemetery.." he said glancing at the stone before him.

"Ok then. Tell her I'm sorry will ya?"

"Ye have nothing to be sorry for mate. What happened was Furias fault and his alone. But if it make ye feel any better, I'll give her a good word for ye." Skipper said kindly.

"Ok. Thanks." I said starting to walk away.

Time skip:>

I thanked the waiter, giving him a tip as he walked away, balancing various plates and dishes on his arms.

Sonja sat across from me at the two seater table. She sipped her hot chocolate, and her face lit up at the richness of it.

"Thanks...I needed this..." she said smiling up at me.

"Don't sweat it." I replied taking a big gulp of my own drink.

I heard commotion outside, and took a glance out of the blue stained glass window, to see townspeople running after a hooded figure, holding a bundle in his hands. A distressed looking lady came into the cafe, and upon seeing me, ran over.

"You're one of the four followers of Mianite aren't you?!" She asked.

"Uhhh yeah?" I replied, confused.

"Please help me! That man took my son!!!" She shouted, catching my attention.

I stood up, realising the bundle that the man was holding was a child.

"Sonja, stay here. I'll be back." I said grabbing my sword.

"What?! No I'm going with you!" She protested grabbing her bow.

I sighed.

"Fine."

I turned my attention back to the mother.

"Ma'am, where did he go?" I asked the upset woman.

"Towards the fountain!" She cried, tears starting to form and drip steadily down her red face.

Sonja and I ran out the door, bolting towards the fountain in the centre of the colosseum.

I could see a shadow moving behind the bakery, out of the corner of my eye, but that's all it looked like. A shadow.

"THERE!" I shouted to Sonja, pointing towards where the figure went.

We ran along the cobbled path, skidding at the corners, and jumping over the hedges, trying to get any shortcut we could. I heard something whizz past my ear, and saw an ender pearl flying through the air, towards the alley the culprit ran down. A black blur shot in the same direction, and I knew Sonja had been the thrower.

I ran alone, towards the alley, and the thief.

I reached the entrance, and peered into the darkness, spotting a small grey bundle on the stone floor. I ran towards it, seeing small brown eyes and a cute button nose. The baby didn't look hurt, but he was encased in blanket, so I couldn't be sure. I picked him up, relief washing over my face when he let out a small sneeze, showing he was ok.

I heard footsteps behind me, and turned to see the distressed mother running up to me, streams of tears evident on her face.

"My baby!" She cried, taking him from my arms, and kissing his forehead, tears of worry and relief streaming down her face.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" She cried, hugging me.

I returned the hug, and she thanked me once more, before walking away.

I was glad the kid was ok, but the alley led to a dead end, so I was a bit confused about where the thief could've gone. He couldn't of scaled the walls of the colosseum that quickly, and there were no doorways to run into, no windows to jump through. Where did he go?

And one other thing.

Where was sonja?

Sonja's POV:

He can't see me....

Or him...

His back is turned...

Please turn around...

He's getting closer...

The man approached my husband from behind, before pushing the cloth into his mouth, and pinning his arms behind his back with his other hand. He pushed him to his knees, before tucker went limp, and fell forward onto the path. The man stood, and came to me, the cloth in his hand. He knelt down to my level, and lifted my head from the pavement. My head hurt so much from where he hit me. I couldn't move.

"I'm sorry. There was no other way." He said, before pressing the cloth over my mouth and nose.

I tried not to breathe in the chloroform, but I was short of breath from running. I gave in and breathed in through my nose, and then everything went dark...

Tucker's POV:

"I just canny understand why it had to resort to this!"

"Well you never know who could've been listening! Them Dianite followers could've been in that colosseum! Or even the devil himself! They might be on the demons side!"

"Still! Kidnapping them?! That be a bold move! They mightn't even want to help ye anymore!"

"It's not me that need help! It's them! They be lucky I stopped by to help em out with their predicament!"

"That 'predicament' be the death of me sister!"

"I know that! She was my friend too..."

"Will ye just wake em up already?!"

"Alright alright don't get yer horses in a bunch! Gosh! If I hadn't known any better I'd think you've had a death in the family! Oh wait."

"You and your dry sense of humour..."

I felt something cool and wet touch my lips, and I opened my mouth, receiving the gushing liquid. My eyes snapped open, and I took in my surroundings, and the people in them.

Two people stood before me. Skipper, looking very concerned, and a man who looked like a cow.

Don't question it. He looked like a cow. He had a ginger beard, and wore metal armour. His eyes were crossed, and he had a toothy grin, with a few gold teeth, and missing ones, here and there. His nose was the cow like aspect of him, as well as the ears on his head.

Sonja sat beside me, slumped against the dark grey concrete wall in a small square room. No decorations could be seen, nor any wallpaper or paint. Just a shell of a room. Sonja had a small bump on her head, but apart from that she looked ok. The cow guy made her drink the same thing he did me, and her eyes opened slowly. I watched as she took in her surroundings, and felt the bump on her head with one hand. She noticed me beside her, and smiled up at me. I returned the smile, before looking back at our kidnappers of sorts. We weren't tied up at all, so it made me think that there was something else going on, aside from the fact skipper was here too.

"Skipper." I said blankly.

"Aye Matey?" He responded.

"What the actual fuck is going on." I said, causing Sonja to laugh a little.

"Well. That's for me friend here to explain. Mates, this be twisted guy. He doesn't have an actual name. Just twisted guy." He said walking over and helping me to my feet, before helping sonj.

"Well howdy! I'm twisted guy! But you can just call me twisted! Or guy! Or Twisted guy! Or TG!" The man said shaking our hands vigorously.

His accent was sort of like a miner or a prospector, with a goofy western sort of vibe.

"I'm a mutant! So don't be alarmed by my cow like features. I was part of an experiment down in the mines in a Mesa biome on a different island. Skipper called me as soon as Capsize...well...you know. He thought ye might need some help! So here I am!" He said.

"I know ye might have a lot of questions. But long story short, he was worried ye might have been followed by Furias minions. So he knocked ye out and brought ye here. The others aren't here. So we be relying on ye to tell em the plans." Skipper cut in.

"The plans? What plans?" Sonja asked beside me.

"Well ye see, I brought some high tech weaponry from my home town! The only thing powerful enough to kill the fire demon that caused ye so much pain!" Twisted guy said, gesturing to a brief case in his hand.

He opened the black leather case, revealing four sticks in a foam mould. I grabbed one of the sticks, and so did Sonja.

"Sticks?" I asked, inspecting the 'weapon' in my hands.

"Just press the red button on the side. And aim it at a wall." Skipper instructed pointing at the wall we were sitting against.

I pointed the stick at the wall, and pressed the tiny red button with my thumb. I was not expecting what I saw to come out of the stick and explode.

"Oh hell yeah." I said slowly.

Sonja nodded at me.

Revenge will be served.

Jordan's POV:

I put the last of my items away, before sitting on my bed in my vault, exhausted. Not once did my train of thought leave the tracks of capsize.

Her death kept replaying in my mind over and over again, to the point where I had memorised where the sword struck, and the pinpoints of the blood splatters. Even what she had on her when she died. I pray to Ianite each day. Begging her to bring her back. But she says it can't be done. She doesn't have the power. I haven't seen Mianite or Dianite in days. So I can't ask them. Not that they'd use their powers to bring back an ianitee just because of my mistakes.

I heard loud explosions outside, and covered my ears with my pillow, wishing the others would stop playing around on a sorrowful day like this one. Another explosion sounded, but a lot closer, and I had enough. I stood, and walked out of my vault, up my stairs, and out my front door onto the pathway. I saw tucker, Tom, and Sonja all holding sticks, and waving them around wildly. Tom saw me, and grinned, pointing his stick in my direction. I heard a loud bang, and ducked, as a projectile cow, (yes. A cow. I'm not crazy I swear) flew through the air, landing on the pathway behind me, and exploding, leaving a gaping crater in its place.

Toms POV:

I cringed as I realised that I'd accidentally pressed the button on the cow wand. It flew straight for sparklez, and I cried out, thinking it was gonna hit him and explode him to pieces. He ducked at the last second, and it exploded the path behind him. He stood, and looked back in shock, as if he didn't believe what he just saw.

He stared at me in disbelief, and I covered my mouth with my hands, trying to stifle a laugh. He stormed over to me, hands on his hips, looking very angry.

"What the hell was that?!" He asked frustrated.

"That, was a cow wand." I said.

He still wasn't impressed.

"The thing that will help us bring some sweet revenge to Furias ass and hopefully kill the bastard." Tucker chirped in from the side.

His face tensed at Furias name, but soon turned into one that realised where we were coming from.

He grabbed the spare stick in my hand, before aiming it at a nearby tree and shooting it for himself. He smiled when the cow exploded, and raw beef dropped.

"We can kill Furia with this?" He asked me.

I nodded, grinning mischievously.

He smiled, the first sign of happiness he'd shown in days.

"Then let's go kill that son of a bitch."

Time skip:>

Jordan's POV:

Finally...

I can avenge capsize....

My hatred for Furia has grown so big...

We sat aboard the pirate ship that the pirates had built. It was much better suited for the long journeys to ianarea and aethoria than ours. Tom had sent a fake message to Furia, and it was signed by Dianite, who had helped with the set up. He challenged Furia to another fight, so we were waiting for him to show up, so we could blast him to smithereens. Hopefully these cow wands could live up to their legends, and help us finally kill him. I met the twisted guy earlier. He was a bit strange, but said he was an Ianite, which made me like him regardless.

I wasn't normally one to get seasick, but even now, bobbing along the waves not far from the coast, waiting for my girlfriends killer, made me feel anxious, and like I was going to throw up. Tom was practicing shooting cows into the air, and Tucker was holding back Sonja's hair, as she threw up over the side of the boat. She had complained about nausea earlier. I still felt a bit guilty about the scene I made at the funeral, but what could I do? My girlfriend died in front of me, and to be honest, Sonja kind of caught me in the middle of some dark thoughts, so I didn't respond like I normally would've.

Tom shot another cow into the sky, and it exploded about fifty metres out, causing a few pieces of raw beef to sink below the waters surface on their way back down to earth. He shot another, and I heard a giant thundering cracking sound, not like what an exploding cow should sound like. I looked up at the sky, to see a giant orange tear in the sky. Out of it emerged Furia, looking around as the portal closed behind him. He laid eyes on us, and scowled, trying to open another portal to escape. I heard a click, and a cow whizzed past me, and landed straight into Furia. He was knocked back, and the portal closed once more. He floated in disbelief, and I smiled, remembering how I first reacted to the projectile cows. Tucker's wand was smoking at the tip, and he clicked the button again, sending another cow straight into Furia. The next five minutes were chaos. Cows flew, cows exploded, and Furia took damage with each blow. My ears were tortured as explosions rang out across the sky, and my ears started ringing profusely. There was a moment of silence, before I clicked my button, and sent the final blow, hitting Furia square in the chest, and sending him plummeting down onto our boat. He landed hard, blood spurting out from the many wounds all over him. I grabbed my sword, and walked over to him, gripping the hilt tightly in my blood-stained hand.

"Rest in hell you bastard." Was all I said, before I plunged my sword straight into his neck.

The wound bled, and then he poofed, leaving nothing but a dagger behind.

I just killed Furia with an exploding cow.

Revenge is served.

And I've avenged capsize.

Wherever you are my love.

May you Rest In Peace...
