《Mianite Season 1》Wizard lessons

Waglington's POV:

I roamed the castle halls, glancing at each of the features that I passed, and smiling from the memories that flooded my mind upon seeing each and every one of them. I eventually made my way to my room, and opened the door with a slight gesture of a hand. I walked in, hearing it slam shut behind me; the hinges were a bit weird, but I decided that I wouldn't bother fixing it. I collapsed on the bed, sighing from how tired I felt. I had just finished three builds for the islanders back to back. I may be a wizard, but even I, can't escape the need for rest once in a while.

I grimaced as I turned over onto a tender spot on my side, where a skeleton shot me earlier today. I was using all my magic on the builds, so couldn't spare any to heal myself. I was slightly annoyed, and normally I wasn't the one to let my emotions get the better of me. Today however, was something else. Tucker and Sonja ordered a build for a huge mansion for them to live in.

I'm not usually negative when it comes to big builds, but they don't use much space at all. It's mostly for decoration and bragging rights on who has the biggest house at this point. Tom is not that picky when it comes to the size of his residences though, seeing as he doesn't want to put in a lot of time towards something if it's just going to get blown up, set on fire, or filled with cobwebs or water. Jordan's house has stayed the same since day one, or so I've heard; I haven't been here since the beginning, unlike the others. There was one instance when the modesteps went full fire on it, and obliterated it. I think there was an incident with lava? Not too sure about the backstory behind that one.

All four of them requested a colosseum. A fricking colosseum! It took months to build! I have at least five bruises from falling off of the walls! It wasn't at all pleasant. Jordan requested a boat. A boat. If Tom did it by himself, WITHOUT any weapons I might add, why couldn't he?! I guess I'm just a bit sick of building things for everyone else....even I have things I want to do for me sometimes....

At least we obtained quite a few diamonds. That's a plus. I felt like passing out, and felt myself slipping away, when I heard a small shuffling sound from my right, in my closet. I opened my eyes in annoyance, and sat up. I glared at the door, and willed it to open with my mind. The doors creaked open, revealing a small ball of glowing blue huddling within.

I sighed and hung my head.

"How much did you hear Tom?" I questioned the surprised wizard.

He stood up quickly and sulked over to my side.

"Uhh I don't know what you mean? I was just admiring your set of.......cloaks?" He lied trying to conceal the real reason he was there.

I shook my head.

"You and I both know that is a big load of bullshitery." I stated.

He had been practicing his mind reading magic, and I was often his favourite test subject, as he knew that there were many thoughts in my head at all times.

He laughed.

"All of it."

"What?" I asked confusedly.

"I heard all of it....." he said.

I stayed silent.

"You know, if you're sick and tired of building for em, why don't you just teach them how to build like us?" He suggested.

I thought about it.

You know, maybe he's right...

They could build the smaller things by themselves...

If I just taught them how....

"I know, I'm the best." Tom gloated.

"Ok stop doing that." I scolded as he started walking out.

He laughed, and stopped at the door frame, his luminescent blue eyes staring back at me.

"Never." He said before walking out into the halls, shutting the door behind him, leaving me in darkness, alone, with only my thoughts to comfort me.

I was reminded of how tired I was, when my battered body involuntarily yawned. I accepted the feeling, and laid back down on my bed, resting my hooded head against the soft pillows. I felt myself slipping away, and fell into a peaceful slumber, full of dreams of a town, brought to waste, by four evil beings.....

Tucker's POV:

"Wizard lessons?!" Tom, Sonja, sparkles and me all exclaimed at once.

Wag nodded his head.

"Yes. I thought I might teach you all how to build like us. I can grant you temporary powers, that will give you flight, invincibility, and the ability to create blocks out of thin air.

We all looked at each other excitedly. This was exactly what I wanted to happen! I always wanted to be able to build like the wizards, and now I'd have a chance!

"First, Tucker." He said.

Can this day seriously get any better?!

This

Is

Awesome!!!

I excitedly followed the hooded wizard on horseback, feeling the wind in my hair, and the steady sound of hooves against dirt.

We eventually made our way to a desert, which led into a forest, which faded into a giant green clearing, levelled out naturally.

"This will be perfect." He said disembarking, and tying the horse to a post he placed down.

I did the same, and waited as wag scanned and assessed the area, talking to himself, as if marking a college student's essay.

I was a bit nervous, seeing as I had never used magic in my life. Maybe I did back when I had memories, before we ended up in Dianites clutches. The thought boosted my confidence a bit, and besides, I had a skilled wizard teaching me.

I'll be fine....

I hope....

Wag walked over to me, holding a glowing red potion in his hand. The contents gave off a luminescent shine, and I gulped anxiously. It looked a bit familiar....but I didn't know why.....

"Ok. Drink this, and you shall receive temporary powers like the ones I mentioned earlier. After drinking it, stand completely still, and relax. You'll feel a slight tingling in your throat, feet, and hands, but that's just a side effect. After about ten seconds, you'll feel something flowing through your body, but just let it do it's thing, and DON'T PANIC!" He explained emphasising the last part.

I nodded as he explained, taking every piece of information in, and going back over it in my head. When I was sure I was ready, I took the potion from wag, and opened the cork, hearing the soft pop as it came out. I stared into the bottle, looking nervously into the swirling red liquid swishing inside.

I carefully held it up to my lips, and gulped it all down, trying not to gag from the sudden sickly sweet flavour of it. It reminded me of grape flavoured cough medicine, but filled to the brim with sugar.

I forced the last drop down my throat, and gave back the bottle, coughing as I felt the sickly sweet, but bitter aftertaste form in my mouth.

"Oh yeah, it tastes gross." He said putting the bottle in his horse's saddle pack.

"Yeah thanks for notifying me now!" I glared at him.

He laughed awkwardly.

I stood completely still, remembering wags instructions. I started to feel a tingling in the places wag said, and resisted the urge to scratch at the spots. I waited a few more seconds, before I felt something move inside of me, near my feet. It almost felt......alive....

I tensed up as it moved up my legs, sliding up with surprising speed. It reached my chest, and I grimaced as I felt it sliding in between my ribs.

I felt something sharp scraping against my side, and on instinct doubled over. I grimly realised my mistake, when the thing stopped moving. I stood up, holding my side, thinking I was ok.

Then, I felt it move again, but into my neck. I suddenly couldn't breathe, and started to panic. The one thing wag told me not to do. But I couldn't help but panic, as the thing slowly choked me, stopping any air from reaching my lungs. All of a sudden I could breathe again, but when I felt a slight movement in my head, I started to feel dizzy. I felt myself losing control of my body, and my vision starting leaving me. I looked at wag, but only saw a blob of grey, rushing towards me, before everything went dark....

"Tucker."

"Tucker!"

"TUCKER!!!"

I awoke upon hearing wag yell my name, and opened my eyes wearily. A bright light shone in my eyes, blinding me, until something grey blocked it out. My vision cleared, and I saw wag, looking over me with a concerned look on his face, his red eyes looking for any sign of life. I opened my eyes more, and saw relief wash over him. I groaned as I felt a sharp pain in my side, and sat up clutching it. I felt something sharp, and looked down to see a small red crystal protruding from my side. I touched it and instantly it fell out, leaving a small dip in my skin where it was. I held it up, and wag looked at it puzzled.

"Wait what?! Why did that happen to you?" He said to himself.

I looked up at him confusedly.

"What? What the hell happened to me?! And why did a crystal grow out of me?!"

"Normally that only happens to people who have used the potion before...."

"Maybe I have used it before...." I muttered.

"What?! When?!"

"I lost my memories at one point....we all did.....Dianite wiped them...maybe I used it before then....maybe I was a WIZARD!!!" I yelled excitedly.

He nodded.

"Well then I'll make sure to use a different potion for the others just in case. I used this one because it lasts longer, but I guess I could upgrade the other one. Don't worry it's not deadly. Just hurts a bit." He said.

I nodded.

I stood up, pocketing the crystal, and looked at my hands. I felt a small bit of magic flowing through them, and gasped as red magic came out of my hands.

"Sand." Wag said suddenly.

"What? What do you mean sand?" I questioned.

Suddenly something started materialising out of the magic, and I gasped in awe as a small piece of sand appeared in my hands. I felt it, and watched it fall through my fingers onto the ground.

"Cool!" I said excitedly.

"Remember, you're here to build. You don't get to just spawn a bunch of diamonds and keep em. However you can keep what you build for a fee. Depending on the size of the build."

I nodded, and thought of water, and watched as a bucket of water appeared in my hands. It splashed over the sides as it fell into my hands.

I placed the bucket on the ground, next to my sand pile.

"Now, if you want to delete something, touch it, and think 'erase'." He said.

I touched the sand and the water, thought 'erase' and watched as they poofed out of existence.

"Alright. Let's get building!" I said pumping a fist into the air.

Waglington's POV:

I sat down on my bed after a long hard day of wizarding lessons. It was quite productive actually. Jordan built a quartz church for Ianite, Tom built a house, which he paid to keep, and Sonja decided she didn't want a lesson. Tucker messed around most of the day, and spawned about fifty diamonds while I wasn't looking. I had the idea to scan him after the lesson, and I caught him red handed. I think Jordan has a prank coming up, so I might need to build him something, but apart from that, I think that the building rush has passed. Finally I can get some rest.

I closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep, dreaming of a woman, full of sorrow, seeking out four beings of great power.
