《Mianite Season 1》Rebirth

Jordan's POV:
Blackness.....
Cold.......
Dizzy.....So dizzy.....
Where am I? Did we make it to the end? Is this it? Just blackness? I hear voices......
"Matey! Are ye ok there? Get yer face off the ground!" Someone yelled.
I shifted around, and felt something hard and rough pressing against my body. I opened my eyes, and saw rough, sandy coloured stone like material beneath me. A hand entered my vision from the left, and waved around.
"Get off the ground matey we got a beast to fight!" Said the person I heard before.
Suddenly I felt myself floating upwards, and I blinked what felt like dust out of my eyes. My vision cleared, and I saw myself clearly. I glanced around, and saw waglington and earl holding me up underneath my arms, and skipper in front of me with his arms crossed.
"Uhh my head....What happened?" I groaned.
"Well Matey, we emerged from the portal, and when we got here it wasn't here. Then you turned to jelly and fell over! Ye just laid there lazing around!" Explained skipper.
"Sorry guys.....I just feel really dizzy.....Can I sit down for a sec?"
"Sure Jordan, you ok?" Asked wag setting me down against a wall.
"Yeah just a bit out of it...Thanks."
"All good. Take all the time you need." He said.
As if on cue, a thundering roar echoed out from outside of the little cave we were in. I shuddered at the sudden sound.
"Uhhh actually if you could hurry it up that would also be appreciated!" Said wag worriedly.
"Ahem! Any one of yee landlubbers got a pick?! Do yee have those here?!" Asked earl.
"Yeah I brought a bunch of iron ones. Haven't found diamond yet." I said pulling out five iron picks.
Each of the pirates took one, and wag as well. While I regained my bearings they started hacking away at the end stone around us, going slowly upwards. My head felt heavy and like it was going to fall off my shoulders. After about three or so minutes, I stood up and went to help the others, although they weren't far from the surface. A hole emerged, and we mined and pulled away the rocks around it. One by one we climbed up the hole, and I went last. When I climbed to the surface, I saw that the end was not a massive endless plain like the nether, but an island. A big one, floating in an endless black void. As I was looking around, I noticed it was made of end stone, with giant obsidian towers dotted around it. The towers had something bright on top of them, but from all the way down on the ground, I couldn't make it out. Endermen were everywhere!
But where was the beast?
I looked at the others; they were all gaping up at the sky with open mouths and wide eyes. I followed their gaze, and saw what they were looking at.

A dragon, about as big as two pirate ships was flying directly above us. It's wings were massive, and it's eyes were a bright luminescent purple. It's pupils were white, and it's eyes were gazing at us with malicious intent. It's wings had white frames, and purplish black insides. It's skin was black as the void around us, and it's teeth were almost pure white, and as sharp as swords. It breathed a purple stream of fire, collecting energy from the bright things on the towers. It was exactly like skippers description.
"We need to destroy all the crystals before attacking it! It draws in energy and health from the crystals upon the towers! Although, it looks like someone else already took out all but two of em." Said capsize nudging something white with her foot.
I looked at it, and realised it was a skeleton. A human skeleton! I stepped back and cried out in horror.
"Looks like they died a long time ago..." said skipper.
"Well they certainly helped us out!" Said wag.
"U-uh......" I started.
"Sparklez, wizard! Ye both go climb the two towers and destroy the crystals! Me, skipper and earl will fend off the beast and protect ye." Said capsize drawing her sword.
I nodded, unsure of what else to do. Wag passed me two stacks of cobble, and ran off in the direction of the furthest tower. I ran to the closest one, and started building a one block wide spiral staircase all the way up the tower. I lost track of time as I built and built and built my way up. It was getting quite tiring, and my hands were cut up badly, to the point that when I placed a block, my bloody hand print was left permanently stained on it. I ignored my pain, and kept climbing. Slowly but surely, I was getting closer. I was about ten blocks from the top, and reached into my bag to get another block, and when I felt nothing but tools, I groaned.
Goddammit! Now I've got to run down and get ten more blocks! I don't have enough time to mine the obsidian;the pirates are having trouble...
I started running down the staircase, when I ran into skipper, who was running up it.
"Got any spare blocks?!" I yelled over the roar of the dragon.
"No time to talk Matey! I got a dragon to catch!" He yelled running up a few more stairs.
I turned and watched him stop, and look to the right, then he jumped, and I screamed. He would die from a jump that high. Suddenly the ender dragon flew past, and skipper grabbed onto its back, holding on as it flew away, and cheering all the way.
Goddammit skipper....
I continued running, until I reached the bottom, and started mining like there was no tomorrow. I looked over at wag as I put the blocks in my bag, and saw he was also running down to get more blocks. I had three ender pearls, so I pearled over to him, much to his surprise, and gave him ten blocks, then pearled back. I didn't look back at him, I just kept running up the stairs.

I reached my last stair and built up the rest of the way, collapsing on the top of the tower in exhaustion.
I breathed heavily, and looked up at the crystal. It was ginormous! It floated above the towers top, and was purple surrounded by glass, with weird red writing inside. I took out my sword, and hit the thing with everything I had. I wasn't expecting to be blown back by the force of the crystal exploding, and fell back down five of my stairs. I groaned and felt the back of my head; it was bleeding. I stood up and ran to the top of the tower to get a better vantage point. I looked around, and saw wag had blown up his crystal, but I could only see capsize and earl on the ground, and skipper lying against a tower, with blood pouring down his forehead. His eyes were closed, but I was flooded with relief when I saw the slow steady rise and fall of his chest.
I looked around for the dragon, but couldn't find it. Capsize and earl were looking up at me and started waving their arms. I realised they were trying to warn me, and I turned around. I was greeted with a bright purple stream of fire heading straight for me, I tried to move, but couldn't; my body was frozen with fear. The fire enveloped my body, burning my skin, and making holes in my clothes. I screamed in agony as I felt my flesh burning away, and then, something the force of a truck slammed into me, sending me flying away into the void surrounding the island. I started to fall, and I couldn't breathe. The air was getting thinner, and then, it disappeared all together...
Where am I?......
What's happening?....
I can't see......
Someone called out.
Is someone calling my name?...
There is was again...
"Wag?"
"Ianite? I-I can't remember...."
"Wait....I-I remember now! Ianite, you are my goddess! My lady!"
"I-I can't! I'm trying..."
"I-I'll try!"
I used all my strength to open my eyes, and I saw only blackness. I felt the ender pearl in my hand, but didn't see where the island was. I briefly saw a flash of purple, and threw the ender pearl blindly, having regained feeling in my arms.
Maybe I missed. I realised I couldn't breathe, and started to close my eyes. My lungs begged for air, but I couldn't give it to them. My throat burned, and I started to cry from the pain. Maybe this is it. Maybe this is where I die....
I heard a small sound, and suddenly cool air filled my lungs. I breathed in the cold air, enjoying every gulp. I sat up, having felt the hard end stone under me, and opened my eyes. I was back on the island... I stood slowly, and heard the familiar roar of the dragon. I looked around, and saw it flying above me, and by the looks of it, it was almost dead. I grabbed the bow from around my shoulder, and knocked an arrow, breathing heavily. It looked at me, and charged, opening its mouth. I stood still, and aimed. It was upon me, and it grabbed my shirt with its teeth. I heard the piercing sound of glass breaking, but ignored it, and shot the arrow into its mouth. It roared in pain, and dropped me to the ground. I landed with a loud thud, and it came crashing into a tower, causing yellow dust to explode through the area. When the smoke cleared, it was lying against the tower. I hobbled over to it, just to see if it was dead. I tripped, and felt a sticky liquid on my hands. It was probably blood. But when I looked, it was purple, and streaming from the dragons mouth. Maybe it's blood was purple?
As I stood up, white holes started appearing in its body, and slowly, the dragon dissolved, leaving a black and purple egg behind, covered in the purple liquid. The strange liquid dissolved into the eggs shell, and I heard a small crack.
The shell started to crack into several pieces, and a small black mass came out. I saw purple eyes, and then a nose, and realised the mass was a head. That head, belonged to a baby dragon. I stepped back, as it bounced over to me, and started licking my face. It kind of tickled. It knocked me over, and licked me even more, and I put my hands under its wings and pushed it back slightly. It stopped licking my face, and I looked at its eyes. They looked very familiar...
I looked at myself, and gasped in horror as I saw the gaping hole in my side. I breathed heavily, and felt myself slipping away. I fell back onto my back, and my hands fell to my sides. The baby dragon tilted its head, and then laid on my stomach. It was startled by something I couldn't hear, and it growled at it. Whatever IT was. The last thing I could make out, as my vision slowly disappeared, was two small purple eyes staring down at me, and purple liquid, leaking from the diamond locket around my neck...

Return of Chaos
For the longest time, it was thought that the citizens of Earth were the only denizens of the galaxy incapable of developing superhuman abilities — but recent events have flipped that assumption on its head. Between Austin Travis, Mote Emerson, Pierce Bradley, and their friends, Earth is now host to 12 Chaotics… as well as a myriad of mysteries surrounding them. From a new nemesis in the form of a clone, to connections to ancient technology from a long-lost civilization, to the ability to summon powerful legendary weapons, these 12 Chaotics have unknowingly become entangled in something larger than any of them have ever imagined. As if in response to these discoveries, the sinister machinations of galactic evil are churning. The metallic infection, a calamitous nanotechnology “disease” thought to have been vanquished 20 years ago, is slowly returning — and alongside it, a number of conflicts thought to be long past. While they only seek to better grasp their own abilities, Earth’s Chaotics will soon find themselves in the crossfire of returning threats and old heroes. These superpowered Earthians may not have chosen this path through life, but it will still be up to them to determine if history remembers them — to determine if history remembers the saga of the Keys. Return of Chaos is a direct sequel to Chosen Chaos, which begins the Key Saga novel series. Be sure to read Chosen Chaos first, to understand the plot and the characters thus far! Additionally, the Key Saga as a whole takes place 20 years after Rise. You will not need to read Rise to understand the events of Return of Chaos, however the latter will spoil many of the events that occurred in Rise, due to the simple chronology of taking place later in the timeline.
