《Mianite Season 1》Walk the plank

Jordan's POV:
I was taken aback by how pretty she was, and froze. She gazed down at us, and gasped.
"Argh! The dark one has sent assassins from the motherland!!! Skipper, Bluebeard! Throw em in the brig!" She shouted, her pirates accent thick.
"Dark one? Motherland?" Said Sonja confusedly.
Suddenly two more pirates appeared at her side, one had ginger hair and a beard, wearing a blue trench coat. The other wore a red coat, and a skull mask that looked almost real.
"Aye aye capn!" They replied.
They jumped down, drawing their swords, and Tom drew his.
"Wait!!! We don't want any trouble! Right Tom?" I yelled.
I looked at him, and he growled.
"Have at thee ya scallywag!" He shouted, thrusting his sword as it clashed with the ginger haired one.
I sighed. One day he would get us killed! The skull masked one started fighting tucker and Sonja at the same time, deflecting their blows effortlessly, and attacking viciously. He was obviously very skilled. I stepped back, as the captain jumped down and stared me in the eye.
"Ya dare come to ambush me and me crew?! Yee will pay dearly!" She yelled at me drawing her own sword.
"Please! We mean you no harm! We come in peace!" I protested, blocking her attacks.
We fought, our swords clashing, and the sound of metal clanging ringing in our ears. Pirates Vs Islanders. Who would win? Hopefully the latter or we'll end up walking the plank. Tom looked like he was enjoying himself, but as he laughed he slipped and fell, while the pirate held him at sword point. Sonja and tucker were struggling against the skull pirate, and he wasn't breaking a sweat. This looked bad.
I thrust my sword at her in a last ditch effort, but didn't want to hurt her, so I pulled back at the last second. She pulled back to dodge, but lost balance, and tripped backwards, landing roughly in the grass. She braced herself by moving her arms in front of her face, but I didn't attack. She looked up at me with a confused look on her face.

"Don't make me wait matey! Just strike me already!" She cried.
"No" I said dropping my sword.
"I don't kill" I said.
"That's a fucking lie! You made about fifty poison potions and all of em landed on me! You killed me like twenty times!" Said Tom mockingly.
"TOM SHUT THE HELL UP!!!" Tucker, Sonja and I yelled simultaneously.
I extended a hand to her, and she hesitantly took it. I started to pull her up, but I didn't notice the glint in her hand until it was too late.
She plunged the dagger into my back, and I cried out in pain. I fell to my knees and my vision went blurry. I coughed up blood as my hands fell in front of me, the only things holding me up. I heard my name being called out, then a hard hit to my head, and everything went dark...
The first thing I felt was the excruciating pain in my back, and the throbbing pain in my head. The feeling in my hands and feet came next. Then my arms and legs. My hearing returned, and I heard the desperate cries of who I could only assume were my friends, calling out for me to wake up. I desperately wanted to, and tried my hardest to open my eyes. I received a flutter of my eyelids on return, but thankfully Sonja realised.
"Jordan! Oh my god! Please wake up! Please!" She pleaded.
I used the last of my depleting strength to open my eyes, and I was greeted with my friends, tied at their wrists and ankles, crying, at my sides.
Tom smiled and wrapped his arms around me, to which I winced in pain. He recoiled immediately, and apologised.
I sat up groggily, bringing my hands to my head, realising they were also bound along with my ankles. I groaned and glanced at my back, straining to see the source of my pain. My tired eyes were greeted with a bloody bandage wrapped hastily around my shoulders and my back, and my shirt was off. Tucker handed me my black jacket, and I draped it over my shoulders. I was freezing.

I took a while to observe our surroundings. We were in a small dark room lined with oak planks. The only light was from a void in the roof, but covered with a strong heavy looking metal grate. Our armour was gone, as well as our weapons, and tools. Our pockets were empty, and we were pretty much helpless.
"Dude you had us worried! When that chick knocked you out, well, I've never seen so much blood in my life! We begged them for a bandage or something, and they gave us one roll. It bled through though. We tried our best..." explained tucker.
"Thanks, I'm sorry I didn't take her out when I had the chance, I just couldn't..."
"No no no you did the right thing!" Said Sonja.
I nodded, and a sudden metallic sound gained all of our attention. The metal grate was opening, and a ladder extended down. The one that Tom was fighting came down with his sword in hand.
"All right ya landlubbers, climb the ladder quickly or I'll shoot ya out of me cannon. And yes it be big enough." He ordered.
Tom stood up and helped me stand, then tucker and Sonja stood too. The pirate walked over and cut the ropes around our ankles. We held out our hands but he shook his head.
"Don't want ye escaping now" he said.
"At least let Jordan climb up with his wrists free! He's injured and can't escape anyway! Please!" Pleaded Tom.
He snarled and sighed. He cut the ropes surrounding my wrists then pushed me towards the ladder with the flat edge of his sword. I moved forward and started to climb the ladder, I lost my grip on one of the rungs, and almost fell, but tucker held my arm in place from behind me. I grabbed the rung again, and climbed to the top, the light making me squint. I looked around at the pirate ship we were on. It was made of oak wood planks, and had giant white masts. The pirate pushed me forward, and then the others joined me after. The captain was on front of us, looking us over. Her angry gaze softened when she looked at me, then she looked away.
"Ye followers of the dark one... Sent to ambush us...Ye disgust me...Skipper! Make em walk the plank!"
"Aye Capsize!" Said the ginger haired one.
Skipper walked to Sonja, and I panicked, running in front of her.
"Stop! Make me go first instead!" I cried desperately, willing to do anything to save them.
Skipper grabbed my arm and shoved me towards a plank of wood hanging over the side of the boat. He chained a heavy metal ball to my ankle, which I assumed was so I would most definitely drown. I gulped, and breathed out heavily. I was terrified of heights...
The one I assumed was Bluebeard, by process of elimination, shoved his sword in my direction, urging me forward, until I reached the end of the plank.
"Any last words?" Asked Capsize.
"Yes. Guys, I'm sorry I couldn't help you...and, Hail Ianite...." I said grimly.
All at once the pirates gasped. A look of shock was plastered on their faces, and Capsize looked more curious than shocked.
"Earl, bring him back on board." She said to the one called Bluebeard.
He came over to me and grabbed my arm, less roughly this time, and brought me to Capsize.
"Who do ye follow matey? Answer truthfully, I know when lies are told." She said to me.
"I follow Ianite, and I hope that one day I can save her from the prison she finds herself in. I want to save her from Dianite..." I said.
"The dark one?" Asked skipper.
"Uh yeah I guess?"
"Apologies matey, we mistook ya for followers of Dianite. You must be ianites champion? We were sent here to find ye. I'm glad you're on the right side of this war." Said capsize.
"You're friends of ianites?"
She nodded.
"That's a relief then! Could you maybe untie my friends? They are with Mianite."
She nodded to skipper, who untied then.
"Actually I'm a follower of Dia-"
"SHUT UP TOM!!!"
