《Bad Boy Next Door》Chapter 13: Blank

I was awakened by the continues ringing of my phone. I searched with my hand for my phone on by the bedside table but I just couldn't find it. I groan in frustration that I had to open my eyes to look for it, but as I opened my eyes a sudden pain in my head greeted me. Then I remembered what happened last night.
Shit! Shit! Shit!
I also remembered that Chace was in my room last night, I looked under my blanket and sighed in relief. I still had my clothes that I was wearing last night though the smell of alcohol lingers in it. My phone rings again.
after ending the call, I tried to refresh my mind about what happened, I was so drunk that I blackout. I washed and freshen up before going downstairs not wanting my parents to know that I got so drunk at a frat party.
"Hey Pumpkin!" Dad greeted as he saw me entered the kitchen, he was making coffee
"Hi!" I tried to sound cheerful though it came out a little trying hard but they didn't seem to notice
"Want some eggs? I can cook for you if you want" Mom closing the storage cabinet with her grocery list
"I can do it" I said taking some 2 eggs from the fridge
"Okay, I'm going to the grocery store. Want something?" Mom has her pen to write
"Maybe more Cheetos" cracking the eggs on the pan
"Sure" she listed it in
"By the way, how was the party last night?" Dad holding his mug
I got so drunk to annoy Chace and hopefully thinking that if I got drunk you'll be so mad that he didn't look after me and maybe punch him in the face.
"It was great" I lied
"I didn't hear you come in last night" he sips on his coffee
"Oh I didn't want to wake you two and I was so tired from a very fun night" I lied again
"That's nice sweetie" Mom rereading the list before inserting it in her purse "I also think Chace is such a respectful boy for asking us for permission, most other boys these days have absolutely horrifying manners" she shakes her head slowly in disapprovement

"So agree" I lied for the 3rd time

Saturdays are my movie/Tv day. I like to lounge on my couch with chips or popcorn and soda, but today I can't seem to focus on my movie with my head pounding loudly.
I was curled up in bed when someone barges into my room. Maggie marching towards me with her sharp look.
"CASSIE!"
I groan in pain from the headache that I still have. I pulled the sheets over to my head.
"Missie, you have a lot of explaining to do" she pulled down the sheets away from my face, but her face turned from angry to disgust "You look awful" she said sitting on my bed next to me
"Not well" was all that I can say
"You should've just called me last night that you couldn't make it because you weren't feeling well" she stroke my hair with concern
"It's all Chace's doing"
"He infected you?"
"No, he drags me to this frat party and I got so drunk that's why I'm not feeling well" I explained
"What?!" She slaps my arm "You didn't show up to your blind date to go out with Chace?"
"No! he like kidnap me from my house and made me come with him to a party" I explained again
"Cass, if you wanted to be with Chace in the first place you could have just told me, then I wouldn't have bothered Jasper to come last night"
"I don't want to be with Cha- wait did you say, Jasper? Like your cousin Jasper?"
"Yeah" she made a sheepish smile
"You know Jasper's only 14 right?" I pointed out
"But he said he likes you"
"I like him too like a little brother!" I made sure to emphasize the two words
"Okay whate-You!" She slaps my arm again "You are just diverting the topic, you and Chace had a second date last night. When were you going to tell us or at least me?"
"To be clear last night wasn't a date and I don't think the blind date was even counted as a date"

"Why don't you just get on board with Chassie and let it sail" she gestured waves in her hands
"Because it is never happening, Mags!" I annoyedly stood up from my bed
"Don't already assume the ending of the story is just beginning" she wiggles her brows at me
"Geez! Shut!" I grab her hand and drag her to my door "I want to sleep, so now go home Mags" I slightly pushed her out my room
"He's hot, what can you ask for?" She asks before I close the door
"A heart maybe" after that I slam the door locking it. I moved back to my bed sinking my body on the mattress with a sigh. When I heard something stumbled, I immediately sat up to look at it.
"Hey" Chace said embarrassedly as he pulls himself up from my floor
"What are you doing here?"
"I came in to check on you" he said
"Cut the crap, Chace!" I roll my eyes at him "Why are you here?"
"Did you tell your Dad about last night?"
"Is BATMAN afraid of my Dad?" I tease him
"N-no!" He stutters "I just don't want my face to be marked with a black eye"
"Whatever makes you sleep at night Batman" I winked at him teasing again, leaning my back on my headboard
"Speaking of the night" he has his smirk on
I hate it when he smirks
"What about it?"
"Do you remember what you said last night before you totally blacked out and snore out in your sleep?" He sat on the edge of my bed
Shit! I don't really remember much about last night. I hate drunk me.
"Ahm"
"You totally don't" he moved in closer to me
"Don't come closer!" I stopped him with my foot
"Last night you pour out your feelings for me and told me that despite your hatred, you love me deep inside" he wiggles his brow with his intimidating smirk
"Funny Chace! I don't even like you in the first place, why would I love you?" I let out a laugh
"Really? Because you totally said the opposite last night" he's voice turned in a seductive way, making me swallowed in "I totally understand why you would keep your feelings for me behind all that hatred-"
"You are so full of yourself Batman" crossing my arms on my chest
"Cassie" he was leaning in again
Gosh! There's that feeling again when he speaks my name
"Batman" I tried to lean away but my back is already pressed on my headboard
"Cassie, you look so cute when you're nervous" he was now touching my face, his eyes looking to mine
"Get away" I wanted to shout at him but instead it came out the opposite, making him smirk more
"Cassie, Cassie, Cassie" he shook his head, our faces inch away from eachothers. I closed my eyes for my instinct. Then I heard him burst into laughter, I opened my eyes looking at him laughing so hard he has his hands on his stomach
"Jerk!" I kicked him off my bed, landing so hard on the floor but his laugh didn't stop
"You really think I'm going to kiss you?" He stands on his feet, continuously laughing
"No! I absolutely did not!" I tried to kick him again but he blocked it
"Then why did you close your eyes" mocking me
"I-I, cause your face is disgusting to look at!" I threw him a pillow
"Okay, whatever makes you sleep at night Lois" he smirks as he makes his way to my window
"Lois?"
"And don't worry about last night, you blacked out seconds after we entered your room" he stepped out of the window, I sighed in relief "You have a perky breast" he peaked in his head from the window, that then I remembered that I wasn't wearing any bra the whole time.
"Pervert!" I grab my pillow and threw at him again but he already left to the window

Abandoned by his abusive father at the far reaches of the world, Daegan may not have the powers of his ancestors but he refuses to die in banishment. Will he make it back home in time to prevent a brewing war? ------------------- This is a gritty drama-driven, rambling tale that presents mysteries early on that the characters work to unravel throughout the story. It swings between action, drama, and sometimes some darker comedy. Warning: A whole lot of profanity, alcohol, drugs, implied violence, actual violence and mega-violence—the kind that involves knives sliding into eye sockets and brains spilling onto floors—the usual stuff, scenes of intimacy, mercenaries, pirates, lots of moral ambiguity, including a wizard that likes to make tea with the heat sucked from his victim's bodies and a heap of world-ending monsters ready to eat people. _______________ Expectations: Updates every Monday and Thursday. Chapters will be between 2,000 and 5,000 words. I'm Irish and write in "Irish English" which is to say that I don't use much of the letter "z"
