The city was in ruins....again. Everyone cowered before the robots. They scanned the whole city multiple times to find the ninja.

At Borg tower, one of the bots were in a containment chamber connected to through computer.

"Initializing power transference. Extracting Golden Power. Standby for physical somatic download." Pixal said as she started a program.

The golden power that the robot had gained the night before got sucked out and down into a black box. The box opened and the electricity bolted in the box. Purple fog began to rise.

Soon enough, there was both result.

"It's not enough! I need more of the boy's power if I'm ever to be freed of this digital prison! I'm fed up with pathetic mortal bodies. I want my own back. Find me more power! Find me the Golden Ninja!" The Overlord, using Cyrus Borg's prosthetic legs to walk around shouted.

"By my computation, your primary duty should be finding the Techno Blades." Pixal said.

"They are the only things that can--"

"Those Ninja don't even know what they already possess. I want the Golden one." The Overlord interrupted.

"Nindroids have no current visual on him." Pixal informed.

"They just don't know where to look." The Overlord turned to see Wu strapped down to a table, immobilized.

"I'll never tell you where they're hiding." Wu said.

"You might not but your memories will." The Overlord said. A blue laser was pointed at Wu's head. Then it was transferred to a computer screen behind him.

"It tickles." Wu laughed.

"It's only a matter of time until your mind tells me everything." The Overlord said.

"Never." Wu said but inevitably, laughed.

Nya, Jay, Zane and Kai had their hands full of trees branches. As they reached their vehicles, they threw them on for camouflage. Cole just picked up a tree and his his mech.

"Aah. This is a perfect place to lay low. No robots, no cameras, no problems." Lloyd smiled.

"Still, Morro, are you sure this is where we need to be?" Zane asked.

"Trust me. If sense needed us to go somewhere, it would be here." Morro responded.

"I have a few questions." Morro said.

"Sure." Kai said finishing hiding his jet.

"What are those blades?" Morro asked.

"These are the techno blades!" Jay said proudly.

"They can hack into anything!"

"Okay, then what about the new vehicles?" Lloyd asked.

"The blades let us hack into them and claim them as our own." Zane explained.

"Last one. Was it really the Overlord?" Morro folded his arms.

"It is. Well, he's technically a computer virus." Cole said.

"But yes. It was him." Kai finished.

"Also, if any aerial drones pass overhead, you better wear this." Nya threw two folded gis at the brothers.

"It will scramble their signal so they can't find you."

"Ahahaw... Yeah, this is sweet." Lloyd said stating at his new green and golden gi.

"It's surprisingly comfortable." Morro said tugging on the sleeves of his sage green and silver gi.

The two pulled down their masks as they herd a voice.

"Lloyd?"

"Mom?" Lloyd turned around. Misako was running towards her son to give a hug.

"Oh. What are you all doing here?" Misako asked.

"The Overlord's back and New Ninjago City has fallen under his control." Lloyd explained.

"And... He has my father." Morro finished.

"Wu's tough. There's a reason he's lived as long as he has. He'll be fine." Misako reassured.

"Well, where's Dad?" Lloyd asked, with a lightened tone.

"Yeah, where's Lord Garmadon?" Kai asked.

"He no longer goes by Lord. Here, he is Sensei Garmadon and he won't be back until this evening's lesson." Misako said.

"Uh, did you just say Sensei Garmadon?" Jay asked.

"I'm glad he's on our side now. With Sensei Wu gone, we could use the help." Zane added.

"Come in, but your weapons are not allowed." Misako said.

"Ever since Lloyd saved his father, Garmadon sworn an oath to never fight in hope to make up for his evil past. It's an oath he takes very seriously."

Kai frowned.

"But we were supposed to protect these with our lives."

"And never let them out of our sight." Jay added.

"You guys go on ahead, I will stay back and watch over them." Zane said. The other ninja cheered and they put their blades in Zane's care.

"Are you sure?" Morro asked before leaving.

"I'm positive. Now, go." Zane said.

Misako lead everyone off to the new sensei's monastery.

A few kids were playing soccer

(or football) when the ball rolled past and to the aproaching ninja. Kai picked up the ball and the kids ran up to them.

"Ah, at least there's some places left in this world I'm still considered cool." Cole said. Kai tried to give the ball back but the kids ran right past them and to Lloyd. Horray fame.

"Nope, still totally lame." Jay elbowed Cole. The three went up to the kids that surrounded Lloyd.

"Hey hey!"

High-fives all around. Well except for Morro. He still doesn't like this kind of thing. He just stood and watched Kai, Cole and Jay play with the kids. One even jumped onto Cole's arm and the black ninja lifted him like a weight.

Nya started at the group.

"I recognize that look." Misako walked up to her.

"What look? I wasn't looking." Nya stammered.

"Two boys, one heart." Misako smirked.

"Am I that obvious? What do I do?" Nya asked.

"Jay's the only one who makes me laugh, but Cole...Cole's not Jay."

Nightfall came and the ninja, excluding Zane, were inside Garmadon's monastery.

Outside, Zane played the techno blades before him as he gazed at the moonlit waterfall that was placed behind the Japanese temple style of a monastery. He was missing out, but the night was pleasant.

The ninja that were inside, sat on the side of the tatami mats, awaiting the arrival of the new sensei.

A silhouette apreafed behind the shoji (the slightly translucent door)

There was something off about the shadow. It had four arms?? The team gasped.

The shoji slid open to reveal Garmadon behind it. No, he did not have four arms. That was just an assistant walking in front.

Sensei Garmadon wore a green black and gray kimono, holding a bamboo staff in his right hand and have a striking resemblance to Lloyd with just and older face and gray hair.

"Ah, my son. So glad you could join us." Garmadon walked onto the mats.

"

Hey, it's been a while, Father." Lloyd waved.

"Check out the new Sensei. Looking sharp." Jay whispered to Cole.

"Silence!" Garmadon knocked Jay on the head with his staff.

"Ow!"

"Close your mouth and open your ears. Tonight's lesson is the Art of the Silent Fist. To fight without fighting. May I have a volunteer?" Garmadon asked.

"How about me?" Lloyd raised his hand. The green ninja got up and strutted to the sparing ground.

"The ultimate battle! Round two!" Nya cheered.

"Attack me. But please, no powers. I happen to like my monastery." Garmadon says. The kids laugh.

Lloyd ran at his dad, but Garmadon just stepped to the side, making Lloyd slam into the table with incense on it.

Oof Lloyd. Big oof.

"You see, the key is balance." Garmadon set his staff straight up.

"Let your opponent fight himself."

Lloyd got up for another shot.

"HHHAAAAAAA!!!!" Lloyd jumped up, kicked, he even spun to try and land a single attack.

Lloyd tried to get and advantage by going up, but he only ended up on his back on the ground.

"Let the enemy tire himself." Garmadon walked forwards.

Lloyd jumped back of his feet. As if he didn't learn, going up was a bad idea. Lloyd tried to do a flying kick but his father simply ducked. Lloyd slammed into a pillar.

"Pupils, I give you the most powerful Ninja in all the land, the Golden Ninja." Garmadon guestered to his fallen son. The kids laughed. Kai, Jay and Cole face palmed. Morro laughed while he covered his mouth.

Lloyd got up again. This time with anger. He stated to charge up his power.

"Easy, son. It is only a lesson." Garmadon waves his hand. Lloyd took a step back and claimed down.

"Sorry, I don't know what got into me." Lloyd said.

"You let the anger take over. I know that feeling well. Now, let's divide into groups." Garmadon instructed.

All the kids paired up with each other, Kai and Jay made a pair, Nya and Cole, Morro and Lloyd. They began to do the drill.

Outside, Zane got lost in the silence of the night. He snapped out of it as he realized the techno blades were no longer in front of him! Zane gasped. He immediately got up and scanned the area. He saw a shadow run by a tree.

Zane pulled up his mask and ran after it. He jumped up to the trees to get a height advantage. Zane jumped up. The moonlight made a blue shadow below him. Zane tackled the mysterious figure that held the techno blades.

"What?" Zane gasped. The figure turned around and Zane got a clear look.

"Pixal? What are you doing?" Zane pulled his mask down.

"Discontinuing and old droid." Pixal, her eyes still glowing red, jumped up and punched Zane in the stomach.

"Argh!" Zane fell back a bit.

Pixal went in for a kick. This time, Zane caught her foot.

"You may call me old, but not slow!" Zane threw the female droid against a tree. He grabbed a nearby rope and threw it on her, tying Pixal up. She let out a scream. It was loud but somewhat smooth due to her voice.

Never the less, the cry alerted the whole area.

The ninja in the monastery herd it.

"The techno blades!" Kai yelled. He got off of Jay (from which he jumped on) and ran out, the others followed.

The ninja, Nya and Garmadon went to the entrance to see Zane walking up with the techno blades in one arm, and a tied up droid in the other.

"It's Pixal!" Cole exclaimed.

"But how did she find us?"

"How about we take her apart to find out!" Kai said walking forwards.

"Please!" Zane dropped the golden tools to stop Kai from coming any closer.

"She was only doing what she was programmed to." Zane said.

"What are you suggesting?" Morro asked.

"She may hold many answers, but perhaps, there's and easier way." Zane activated his bright blue techno blade.

"No! I--" Garmadon stepped forwards.

"Ahaah! Relax." Jay placed a hand on his shoulder

"Ain't a weapon only hacks into things" the lightning ninja explained.

Zane pressed the tip of the blade to Pixal's for head. Her eyes turned that teal green again. She gasped.

"Where am I? Why am I typed up?" Pixal asked. Zane untied her.

"You were under the control of the Overlord. How did you find us?" He asked.

"They've mined Sensei Wu's memory. The Overlord knows all of your hiding places." Pixal explained.

Morro and Garmadon flinched.

"My brother. Is he... Is he okay?" Garmadon asked.

"Tell me, please!" Morro exclaimed.

"Wu is alright. The Overlord wants Lloyd. His Golden Power is the only way he can escape the digital realm and become real." Pixal informed.

"Why did Borg give us the Techno Blades to protect? Why are they so important?" Kai asked. This quickly became a q and a session.

"Because together, they can reboot the system, wipe the master computer clean, and destroy the Overlord virus for good." Pixal answered.

"So they're litarly and metaphicaly a key." Morro said.

"Wow." The four either the blades said.

Pixal gasped.

"What is it?" Nya asked.

"I did not come alone."

"Ehkk-- who else is with you?" Jay asked.

"Nindroids." Pixal said.

"Nindorids?!" The team exclaimed.

"Where are they? I don't see any of then!" Jay frantically looked around.

Suddenly, a nindroid appeared and drew a sword. The ninja gasped. Then, more appeared and surrounded the group. The ninja pulled up their masks. The ones with weapons prepared to fight.

"Five versus eighteen. Probability of survival too low to quantify." Pixal said. Well it doesn't matter, because the ninja ran into battle right away.

Kai jumped up to kick but got thrown down. Zane went to attack when he got throw over, onto a rock, then hit the ground hard.

Jay panicked.

"THESE NINDROIDS ARE SO MUCH FAST--" Jay yelled. Until he got punched in the face.

"Nice kick! Now, see mine!" Cole placed the techno blade on his back.

"Ninja-go!!" A hazel brown spinjitzu tornado spun around and knocked back the nindrpids Cole was facing.

Four nindroids ran at Garmadon. The new sensei waited until the last second to jump up and avoid, letting the nindroids take themselves out.

Two nindroids infront of Morro. The wind ninja took out his staff. He tripped one droid with a low sweep. Another came running from the back. Morro used his staff to knock over the nindroid and threw it onto the seconds that was infront.

A droid closed in on Zane. Zane backed up when more nindroids appeared and held Zane still. Zane was being beat on! Like, really badly!

Lloyd kicked away one when he saw Zane being tackled. He charged up.

"No!" Nya yelled.

"Your power only strengthens them!" She reminded. Lloyd ran off the ledge.

"Ninja-go!" A golden spinjitzu jumped down and knocked all the nindroids away to reveal Zane, lying on the ground with half of his face plate missing.

A few nindroids closed in on Nya. They shot at her with their laser-eye-thing. Nya pulled out a metal fan. It acted like a shield. She deflected the blasts and blew up the nindroids.

More. A ton of more nindroids appeared at the waterfall. They jumped off the cliff and materialized a flying mechanism and went towards the ground.

"Oh, that's a lot." Morro said looking up.

"We need to get out of here!" Nya yelled as she ran into the monastery.

Morro ran or aide Lloyd with Zane. The team ran through the halls.

"Got you now." The nindroids said behind them. Nya opened a door and they walkers out onto a balcony on the side of the monastery, with a stream and a water wheel.

"Anyone want to clear a path?" Jay asked.

"Yeah. I got an idea." Cole smirked.

The water wheel broke off and started to roll down the stream. It continued to roll down, past the gates, and into the forest.

Soon, the new vehicles that ninja had gotten sped off.

"Attack!" The nindroids yelled, not giving up. They ran into four seater plane things and sped after them.

In the mountains was a mech. A large one. Piloting it was the leader of the nindroids. General Cryptor. He fired at the aircrafts and cars. It hit the vehicles flipped over and crashed to the ground in flames.

-back at the monastery-

"It won't be long until they figured out we used auto pilot." Cole said as he got out of the wooden holder on the water wheel.

"We should get a move on."

Everyone else got out of their own compartment.

"Zane, are you okay?" Morro asked.

"Yes... I am fine." Zane stared at his gi. It was open and showed his powersourse. Band then felt the wires in his face.

"Oh."

"I'm coming with you." Garmadon said.

"If the Overlord wants my son, I'm not letting him out of my sight."

"I'll stay and look after the monastery." Misako (who was there) said and walked off.

"Wait!" Lloyd called for a meeting.

"If he wants me, and the Techno Blades are the only things that can stop him, shouldn't we split up, just in case?" Lloyd suggested.

"Good thinking. Zane's Falcon knows the secret location of my Samurai X Cave." Nya said.

"You need to go there and take what you need to get as far away from us as possible."

"Secret cave? I thought we knew everything about each other." Jay sighed.

"Well, a girl's gotta have her secrets." Nya placed her hands on her hips.

"What are you guys gonna do? Those Nindroids aren't gonna let you step one foot into the city." Lloyd said.

"Yeah, Nya. What are we gonna do?" Jay asked.

"We're gonna shut down the power." The samurai said.

"Okay then. We need to go now." Garmadon said.

"Morro? Come on." Lloyd said.

"I, uh... Actually, I think it would be better if I went with them." Morro pointed to the ninja team.

"If those blades are what we need to reboot the Overlord, and, I'm the only one here with an elemental power that can fight back, I should be helping protect those." Morro said referring to the techno blades.

Lloyd nodded.

"I got it. And, I guess it's better if I'm around less people and travel in a smaller group." Lloyd said.

The two teams split up.

Team power: Jay, Cole, Kai, Zane, Nya, Pixal and Morro.

Team conceal: Garmadon and Lloyd.

I just made that up. On the stop. Like right now.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE NOT THERE?!" The Overlord furiously shouted at the screen connected to Cryptor.

"We've been tricked." Cryptor said in response with the ninjas' flaming vehicles in the back.

"Your Nindroids have failed, General Cryptor, but my next creation won't!" The Overlord turned to a large machine concealed in the shadows.

The light of it lit up in the dark.
