"Here it comes! Hold on!!" Kai shouted as his mech got picked up by the fall of snow.
"I can't control my mech!" Cole exclaimed.
"Me either!" Jay shouted.
"The avalanche is too strong!!" Kai cried.
The four ninja slid down the mountain, unable to do much. Jay saw a rock down below. He slammed right into it, his mech breaking into pieces. Jay landed on a large chunk of metal and continued to slide.
"Jay! Tale my hand!" Cole reached out. Jay tried but his hand went right through Cole's.
"Concentrate, Cole!" Jay exclaimed.
Kai jumped to a tree that was conveniently sticking out.
"I got it!" Kai sighed.
"Hey, guys, I--" the branch that Kai held onto broke, and he was back in the mess, falling onto Jay.
"Blimey, I'm trapped!" Zane exclaimed.
"What do I do? What do I do? What do you do, Cole?" The new ghost stood on his mech.
"You don't give up." He dived into the snow. A green glow suffounded a tumbling snow ball. Jay and Kai were on Zane's mech with him, screaming for their lives as if they can't temporarily take flight.
Suddenly, a large snow creature stepped in front of the cliff and kept the mech safe from the avalanche.
"Woah! Cole? Is that you?" Jay asked, holding on to the mech.
"Just picking you up to return the favor." Cole said, placing the mech down.
"You possessed the snow." Kai said.
"Yeah, I guess I did." Cole appeared out of the snow creature.
"Haha! First we get Cyclondo, then we get a ghost on our side!" Jay jumped up.
"Tis good to see you smile." Zane said.
"Alright, so we're down three Mechs, but we're up in spirit. Still. How are we gonna catch up? We lost a lot of ground." Kai asked.
"How about we see what else I can do?" Cole smiled.
. . .
"WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!" Jay shouted as the mech ripped through the cold air.
"It's like... Your possession has given his mech boosters!" Kai shouted.
"Boosters? That some sort of ghost joke?" Cole asked as he was on the screen of Zane's mech.
"Haha, glad to see your sense of humor hasn't changed." Kai laughed. The mech jumped up and started scaling the mountain side.
"Whoa, Cole, you've transformed it into a spider mech." Kai exclaimed.
"You know, this Ghost thing isn't that bad after all." Cole said.
"How are they going that fast?" Roman said, taking not of the tracker moving fast on the screen.
"It's Cole. He's found his second wind." Nya said with confidence.
"Well, they're cutting it close. The Blind Man's Eye will be touching down shortly." Ronin said.
"And are we gonna be making wind jokes all the time?"
"Maybe." Nya giggled.
. . .
Morro jumped onto a wooden platform.
"What is this place?" Neran asked, appearing beside him.
"The Hanging Temple. I always wondered how they built and survived here." Morro placed his hand on the wood.

"Hey, you think they're any scrolls here?" Neran asked, running to a building.
"I doubt it." Morro said.
"If there's no one here than I don't think that there would he any--"
"Nope, nothing here." Neran said, halfway in the wall in front of Morro.
"Pft. Ahaha." Morro laughed.
The three other ghosts along with the mech camp up to the structure.
"The ninja are gaining on you." Soul Archer said. Neran stepped out of the wall.
"We can go ahead." He suggested.
"And-- and Morro, he can push back the winds if they ever come." Neran said.
"What? I can only make my own winds, not control the natural winds!" Morro exclaimed. Nerann grabbed Morro's hands and held them up.
"Listen! If anyone can counteract the winds of this mountain, it's you!" Neran exclaimed.
"Besides, usually you're the one making the storms, it should be just as easy to stop one!" Neran finished. Morro looked at the green cloth around Neran's right arm.
"You can do it! You're the strongest person I know!" Neran's grip on Morro's hands felt softer.
"O-OKAY!" Morro exclaimed.
"Great!" Neran pulled Morro further on the trail.
Morro's cheeks were red. I mean, it was cold out, but this was a different reason.
"The Hanging Temple." Kai said as they saw the base from below.
"We're not far!"
"Ghoultar fight!" The ghost mech peeked over the ledge and Soul Archer shot his arrow right onto Kai's shoulder.
"Kai!!" The ninja shouted. The green arrow slowly faded.
"The armor really works. I didn't turn into a Ghost!" Kai shouted. Ghoultar grappled onto Zane's mech and pulled it up. Cole looked up.
"Morro's still going!" He shouted, pointing at the wind mater being lead by the ghost.
"And you're not!" Bansha screeched, her shouts making the icicles above fall.
The ninja barely avoided getting hit.
"Who's ready for some exorcise? 'Cause we're about to do some exorcism!" Kai shouted.
"Now that is a Ghost joke." Cole said.
"Ghoultar chop!" The ghost mech raised it's hand but Zane intervened.
"The blind man's eye! We can't let Morro jump through it without us!" Cole shouted.
"Don't think we're not trying!" Kai said, dealing against Bansha.
Jay jumped to a stop.
"Argh! Somebody almost got shot here! Where's the archer?!" Jay shouted.
"On the rooftop!" Cole pointed. Jay looked up and grabbed his Aeroblade. Jay threw the blade and missed.
Bansha cut the floorboards underneath Kai.
"Kai, think fast!" Cole threw his Aeroblade. It stuck into the wall, letting Kai grab it and not fall.
"We have to figure out how to get rid of these wind bags before it's too late!" Kai shouted, jumping back onto slide planks.
The wailing again. The ninja look up. The snow was lifting off the mountain.
"Oh, speaking of wind, anchor down!!!" Jay shouted, trying to pierce the wood either his blade. Kai, Jay and Zane in his mech started to slip to the edge of the temple grounds.

"Now I feel like a wind bag!!" Jay shouted, almost blowing away.
"Kk-tch!" Morro's foot started to slip back.
"Yeah, I- I can't do this!" Morro shouted.
"Yeah, you can! Just keep going!" Neran shouted in Morro's head. The wind master stepped forwards and pushed his left hand up. He brought his right down and pushed it up, shouting as Morro forced his way.
The wind came to a stop and Morro fell forwards.
"You gotta stop falling for me." Neran said as he caught Morro.
"Aha. Hahaha!" Morro laughed as he stood up on his own.
"You're amazing." Neran said.
"Thanks to you." Morro grabbed Neran's left hand and continued up the mountain.
"I wanna get off this stupid mountain! I hate heights!" Cole shouted.
"Come on, Zane! Get this tin can back on it's feet!" Jay exclaimed.
"Aye, aye, gonna do it." Zane said.
Ghoultar grabbed the mech and all the ninja except Zane got off.
"Now where did the archer go?" Jay asked.
"Behind you!" Kai pointed.
"Uh-oh!"
Another arrow was fired just before Jay's feet. Soul Archer drew another arrow. Jay threw his Aeroblade, knocking away the bow.
"Haha! I got him! I got him!" Jay exclaimed and Cole got out of the snow.
"Aww! And it lost it!" Jay sighed as his Aeroblade didn't return.
"Come on! We have to get out of here!" Kai exclaimed. Zane was cornered.
"Hahaha, Ghoultar never let you leave!"
Zane shot wires that tured the mechs together.
"Then it's off the plank for you!" He jumped out, and activated the boosters, making both mechs fall down the mountain.
"They're getting away!" Bansha pointed.
"We'll see about that." Soul Archer summoned another bow and shot the bridge, it started to turn translucent. The ninja screamed as they just made it across.
"Come on. There's no time to lose." Kai said getting up.
"How's it hanging?" Neran asked, upsidedown as Morro clinnged to the side of the mountain. He was almost at the top.
"You're acting like me when I wanna annoy the guys." Morro sighed.
"Oh yeah... And what about the girl? You like talking to her." Neran said.
"This isn't the time to... Discuss the people I talk to." Morro said, slowly advancing.
"There he is!" Jay shouted. The other ninja weren't far behind. They started to climb.
"We can do this! We're almost there!" Kai said, gripping onto the large icicles. Jay look forwards.
"Hey! I found it!" He said, his Aeroblade lodged in the ice.
"Were gonna miss the Blind Man's Eye!" Kai shouted as the cluster of clouds moved above them.
"Hey, you might wanna hurry." Neran said.
"You might wanna hold onto me." Morro said. Neran grabbed his shoulders.
"And, I hope I don't die."
"WHAT."
Morro let go of the mountain side and jumped away. In the air, he raised his hands, the sage green colour of his airjitzu started to surround him. Morro used his airjitzu time make it to the peak of the mountain.
The ninja saw another airjitzu, flying up into the snow and wind.
"Oh great." Kai sighed.
"We'll never make it in time!" Zane shouted.
"All in favor of stealing Morro's idea?" Jay asked.
"Yes!!" Kai shouted.
"I don't know. I never practiced!" Cole exclaimed.
"What if I just blow off the mountain?!"
"Don't worry. We'll catch you. Just trust us." Kai let go and used his airjitzu to make it to the top.
"I did it! I did Airjitzu! Now you try!"
"Now it's your turn!" Jay shouted to Cole. Zane and Jay made it to the top.
"Imade it! I Cyclondoed!" Jay shouted.
"Yar! What about Cole?" Zane asked.
"You can do it, Cole. We'll catch you. Remember, brother sharpens brother!" Kai shouted.
"The only thing sharp here is this icicle that I'm holding on to!" Cole exclaimed as he almost slipped.
"Come on, Cole! You're the strong one! Even Jay can do it!" Kai said.
"Oh, thank you very much, fire boy!" Jay shouted.
"Cole, just jump!" Kai said.
"What if I can't grab hold of your hand? I'll fall and die!" Cole cried.
"No, you won't. You're a Ghost, and Ghosts can't die." Kai reminded.
"Ghosts can't die. Ghosts can't die. I'll do it!" Cole let go. He steadily used airjitzu and made it to the top, landing on the others.
"Oh! We did it!" Jay exclaimed.
"Look! The Blind Man's Eye!" Kai said, the storm almost passing them.
"We've got one shot." Zane said.
"Brother sharpens brother." Cole grabbed his teammates' hands.
"Cyclondo!" Jay shouted. The four used airjitzu and jumped into the Blin Man's Eye.
"Their beacons. What happened? Where did they go?" Nya asked, the red dots vanishing from the screen.
"They made it. They crossed over to the Cloud Kingdom." Wu said. The bounty crew cheered but something fell out of the sky.
"What was that?" Ronin ran to the edge of the bounty.
"It's a..."
"Ghost." Nya finished.
Ghoultar screamed as a cage dropped on top of him.
"Fresh catch of the day." Ronin snickered.
"Bring him aboard. I want answers." Wu demanded.
A warm yellow glow.
"Did we make it?" Kai sat up.
"The Cloud kingdom." Cole gasoed at the sight.
"We did." Jay sighed.

"Have you... Ever wondered who your parents are?" I asked him. We sat in the tree together again.
"Uh, I mean, yeah." He said.
"But, if they left, aren't they jerks?" He implied.
"I still really wanna know. Who I am, where I came from, my family..." I said.
"Your deepest wish?" He asked.
"I guess so." I said.

Disclaimer of sorts: I am non-native English writer that used to write mostly for himself. After my last computer decided to die on me taking all my works with it I lost the desire to write for quite a long time. This is my attempt to go find motivation to write again as this was my favourite hobby. The idea is to be held accountable. As for being non-native, I don't believe that should be a major issue as I feel my proficiency in English to be sufficient enough to not be too much of the distraction. That said, be forewarned that the rules governing punctuation are beyond my grasp. All I can do is try not to completely suck at that. As mentioned this is an attempt to motivate me to write again so any message, encouragement or constructive criticism will go long way.
