Annabelle's POV:

I had go dressed and ran downstairs to my Dad and Danny. He had his day off and wanted to spend it with us and I couldn't be happier. I had missed him so much lately, he hadn't really been around but that wasn't his fault. We ended up going to a buffet kind of place and all walked out with a food coma and then went to a theme park which we ended up staying most of the day. It was best day I've had as a family to date. I know Dad tried hard to make time for us but it was hard with his new job and very needy boss but what could he do? He was here now and that's what counted most.

We got home around 7 and exhausted wasn't even the word for how I felt right now. I had missed my Dad, missed Danny, just missed us. We sat down and TV together for a while until it got a bit later and it was time for me to go to sleep. I walked upstairs and went for a shower and by the time I got out of the shower I had a text message from Tara which I opened instantly.

I laughed at her message, I had missed Tara and hadn't spoken to her in a while but avoiding her was a lie since we both knew that she had been attached to Elijah by the hip since the hotel. I sent back a quick 'ok' reply and soon found my eyes getting lower and lower.

I woke up with a massive smile on my face, I hadn't seen Tara in quite a long time and catching up with her used to be a favourite past time of mine before Carter came along. I smiled again. The mere mention of his name caused me to smile. What had this kid done to me? Kudos to him for being so perfect though.

2 o'clock was slowly rolling around and I sat in the kitchen waiting for Tara. Soon enough the doorbell rang and I bounded to the door, probably more excited than I should have been. I swung the door open and embraced Tara in a massive hug as she slightly stumbled backward. "Hey, hey" she called hugging me back; we laughed for a while as I ran back in the kitchen to grab my bang and ran back to her car. Throughout the car journey she began updating me on all things Tara and Elijah and they were so sweet. Last weekend, Tara had met his parents and had dinner with them and she told me how even though she was nervous that he had held her hand the whole time. I had missed my best friend and hearing about her little endeavours with her boyfriend made my heart melt. I soon began to tell her about the drama between Carter and I and how Danny had finally come around and then - the first date. Where the boy had complete, wholly and entirely taken my heart.

We arrived at a little diner off the side of the road and went inside. We ordered a milkshake each while we waited for the others and continued to update each other with our lives. Around 20 minutes later we saw Carter and Elijah walk in with Danny. The boys were all messing about as Elijah slid in next to Tara and Carter to me as Danny pulled up an extra seat. Carter gave me a quick kiss on the cheek as his attention diverted back to Danny. "Seems we're going on a trip" Danny said taking a sip of my milkshake, with a look of horror on my face Carter continued. "It's where we're going for our year anniversary babe", Carter smiled at me as me and Tara waited in apprehension.

Carter cleared his throat and with a plague of pride all over his face he said, "we're going back to the hotel".

Hey Guys!!

The answer was the hotel that they previously stayed at for Matt's birthday. Oooooh i wonder whats going to happen. :)

Did you guys guess correctly? Why did Carter choose this place? Will Annabelle and the group enjoy themselves?
