Annabelle's POV:

I had gotten changed and everyone was now downstairs sitting in the café very awkwardly. Everyone was so quiet that it made the setting almost eerie. "I was thinking we should leave a little bit earlier" Danny said speaking up, everyone agreed and soon we were packing up to go. I had chosen to go home with Carter because I didn't even want to look at Matt right now. Carter finished putting all the bags in the boot as Danny walked over, "Hey Annie" he said, "I'm going to stay over at Gwen's" I rolled my eyes and nodded with a smile, "nice to see you two getting along" I said cheerily and he smiled and left. I turned to Carter who was leaning on the car with his arms folded, "what?" I asked him he smiled and walked over to me and said, "you'll find out soon enough" he then opened the door for me and I got in.

We were driving down the motorway as he put the radio on, it was quiet at first but then I heard the song and looked at him. "Ain't nobody" I sang, "loves me better...makes me feel this way" he turned and began chuckling. He let the whole song play out and when he finished he did a whoop and cheer for me, I giggled and bowed. "I guess that's our song now?" he said intent on the road, our? I thought and smiled and kissed him on the cheek, "I like the sound of that". He turned and nodded towards me, "do you know what else sounds nice right about now?" he said smiling, I looked at him waiting for his answers as he replied "food". He was right I was starving and we hadn't eaten since last night where we'd ordered room service and muched the hotel out of house and home. I nodded, "does sound nice".

We drove a little longer and saw a sign pointing to an apparent small café that was tucked away. He winked at me as he said, "guess we're going to finally get that food". We drove through some large trees and came to a small café that looked like something out of a Disney movie. We got out the car and looked at our surroundings, it was honestly quite beautiful, "let's go" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me inside. We walked in to see it beautifully rustic and decorated so. A blonde lady sat us down and gave us menu's and told us she would be back in ten. I glanced over the menu as Carter's phone pinged. He pulled it out of his pocket and his whole faced creased as he read it and then threw it on the table. "Carter?" I said quietly, he looked up at me and gave me a small smile but it wasn't fooling me, I raised my eyebrow and said, "what was it about?". He rolled his eyes and handed me the phone, it was from Elizabeth:

"I hope you're not intending to go" I said passing the phone back, he shook his head and then looked at the menu again, so I followed suit. In the end he had ordered a chocolate milkshake, burger and chips and I'd ordered the same with a vanilla milkshake. "Okay, should we play a game before food comes?" he asked me whilst wiggling his eyebrows. I looked over at him with a slight smile and crossed my arms, "depends what game". He shuffled a little on his seat as he cheekily replied to my question, "just an innocent game of truth or dare". Innocent? When was that game ever innocent but I nodded anyway. "Truth or dare?" he asked me, I thought for a moment trying to be clever and said, "how about truth". He smiled and interlaced his fingers and rested them on the table, "Okay Walters, who and when and where was your first kiss?". I rolled my eyes at this, it was such a basic question so I said, "how basic and that sounds more like you asked three questions to me Mr Reins", he smiled at this and cockily replied, "oh contraire its a three in one". I rolled my eyes and laughed at his response I sat back and said, "his name was Joshua and were 12 and it was at his birthday party". He let out a loud laugh and I said, "alright then truth or dare?".

We played this for a while and we were laughing like idiots. I had just gotten him a dare to tell the next person who walked past us that their fridge was running and it had sadly been an old man, he was so confused at first and then stormed off. "Truth or dare Walters?" he asked me with a grin and I laughed, "after the last dare I think I pick truth". He had dared me to do 3 press ups next to us and boy did everyone look at me and damn did my arms hurt. He looked to be thinking for a second and then the food came out. It looked so delicious and wanted to tuck in but I wanted my truth honestly, "so? I asked and he nodded as he took a bite from his burger and I ate a chip. He leant forward to me, swallowed his food and said, "Annabelle Walters would you like to go on a date with me?"
